The service was excellent & the food was pretty decent. The water was a perfect temperature and the atmosphere was captivating. My only criticism is the timing, one-hour soaks felt a bit brief for the price.

Such a clam & pleasant place to relax and enjoy the Hot Springs water. We booked a private hot spring tub. Was the best thing to do in Idaho. The place was so clean and neat ( they kept cleaning the restrooms and shower area), staffs were very friendly . Will be visiting back soon!Rooms: CleanSafety: Very safe and secureFood & drinks: Place has food and drinks for purchase.

Overall good experience, a bit pricey though. Went there yesterday. They couldn't find my name even after I showed my reservation on my email, that was a bit annoying. We did 4:30-7:30pm, but they ask you to leave at 7pm, so your time is not until 7:30. I think it's to accommodate the next session so people have time to change. Good huckleberry lemonade. The changing rooms are really small, barely any benches available to sit, and only 2 changing/shower room, it was crowded in there. Definitely should have built much bigger rooms to accommodate the amount of guests present in one session. I'd come back, good vibe with the location.

Loved the afternoon of hot springs, nature and being waited on poolside. Kat had an amazing personality and quickly caught on to our style of humor. Even though we didn't understand the bags were for our wet stuff it was a nice touch! Great place to chill n relax and just enjoy life for a few hours!!!

I absolutely love this hot spring. Everyone who works here is friendly and attentive. My only issue is that it's extremely difficult to get reservations once winter hits.We were finally able to score a private hot tub (in October) and it was gorgeous! They make it feel like a luxe experience - your own check-in table and server. We also love the big pool. It has different temperatures at different places in it, attentive staff, and a separate hotter tub. All of this is surrounded by beautiful pine trees - gorgeous and relaxing!

Today we brought my MIL, who is visiting from the east coast, to celebrate her birthday. We reserved a private tub weeks ago. We were so excited to share what we thought would be an amazing day with her. We even took PTO off of work for the afternoon to get there at the available time.We drove over an hour to get there and when we arrived we were denied access to our reservation as we had our infant with us. Our infant was obviously not going to use the tub as that's not safe! We were going to take turns soaking and tending to our baby girl. They refused us access to our reserved tub, were extremely rude about it and then had the nerve to charge us for the tub anyways. We wasted not only our time, PTO and gas and they still charged us for a service we didn't even have the opportunity to use! Unbelievable! We will never come back to this establishment and will never refer anyone else here. Thanks for nothing.

Our trips to The Springs in Idaho City are always a delight. We've been there on numerous occasions, and every single visit has been a 5-star experience. It's worth noting that scheduling can be a bit challenging at times since the prime soaking times tend to be reserved well in advance by customers, some of whom may or may not turn up. For the optimal experience, I recommend thoroughly reviewing the disclaimers and instructions on their website to ensure you have the most current information and access to booking times.

A few years ago I would've given this a 5 but the last few experiences I've had have been less than wonderful with a common theme being "snippy" staff. It is a bummer that you can only soak for 2 1/2 hours now, yet the prices have increased over double - But hey, I understand that many businesses learned some things during Covid that make them more money; they aren't going back and I can appreciate that. The 65 person limit doesn't hurt my feelings, nor do the limited hours for children. BUT. They are militant about you getting out of the pool on time (the way they announce it, and patrol you, even if you're the last soak of the day is very militant and not relaxing at all) yet the last two times I've been there. My entry has been almost 20 minutes late, which is annoying, to say the least. I feel like they focus on *their rules* more than guest experience and, in fact, last visit allowed a group of people to enter with their "companion dog". This dog was not wearing a vest, spent a lot of time barking and yelping while the owner loudly scolded her from across the pool. Meanwhile timing the peopleNext to us and making them wait for SIX minutes before they allowed them to order another drink, also making them feel uncomfortable. That focus was wayyy off. They have ceased providing towels, no longer have basic toiletries (I always told everyone how awesome it was that they had q-tips lol) and I don't see any progress with the steam room repair - a sauna has been lacking since the beginning - and on several occasions I've been *required* to share a locker with with my friend, when clearly there were tons of open lockers. I mean , me saying no I'd really rather not and them insisting and basically saying I had no choice. Since they enter in groups now the locker rooms are inundated with people, all rushing to get outside, many choosing to change in the bathroom stalls (despite signs asking them not to) while those of us following the rules are elbowing each other in the back corner trying to dress and waiting for long periods to use the toilets. Their food offerings have remained super limited since Covid (to be fair, they are well portioned and fairly priced). I'd love to see them using some of their increased revenue to provide a better experience. I feel like they take their booked out business for granted now that they are so busy. It's still a lovely place to visit, and I'm glad to see some expanded some hours but I think they've gotten a little too big for their britches and if they are going to feign a higher end experience, they should provide one. If they read this, I hope they take it at face value as I have been a steady patron and referred a lot of people to visit them, and will continue to do so. I want them to be successful, but hope they consider walking their talk on creating a nurturing and relaxing environment for patrons.

Disappointing that the prices are so high when you only get to soak for 2 hours (and it’s a long drive to get up there). Then, if you’d like to use one of their towels it’s an additional $10. Tiny locker rooms and the front desk manager was incredibly rude when we asked a question about our bill. The pool is beautiful but sadly the whole experience was a disappointment.

We stayed in Boise and this was the closest Hot springs we could find. The staff were friendly, the pools were clean with well regulated temperature. Highly recommend booking in advance since they restrict the number of people at a given time- this way the pool isn’t overcrowded. Good ambience with lights and music in the background that made for a great little date night. Great environment amongst the hills. There is a temperature difference between the lower end gradually rising at the deep end. There is also a hot tub apart from the large pool. They serve a variety of beverages and snacks by the poolside that really enhanced the experience. We had the huckleberry wine and lemonade along with the brownie. Highly recommend them all. We absolutely loved the brownie with the drizzle.Food & drinks: The brownie is a must try!

This is a nice and easy 40 min drive from SE Boise. We enjoyed mimosas in a private room on a lovely fall morning and can't wait to come back and try in the winter. The water temperature was nice and toasty and everything was clean. Our mimosas tasted more like orange juice and wish, as a spa, they provided their own robes, slippers, towels and had prettier glasses than solo cups. It's the little things that count.

This is the best developed hot springs in Idaho. It truly is a resort.Reservations are best.Private tubs can be very hot in winter and spring with no way to cool down but otherwise I've always had a great time.Poolside service for drinks. You can have food in a private tub.The pool is always the ideal temperature and most times are adults only! Can't wait until they repair or replace the steam room!

Love going to soak at The Springs in Idaho City. Private or main pool are so nice. Reservations are a must, but we really enjoy how they limit the occupancy, so it's not so crowded. Always enjoy the poolside drink and food service. The facility is well maintained and always clean. Definitely will keep going back.
