I have gone to H&R Block for years. I have never had an issue and will recommend it to all. They have the option to subtract the amount owed for their service from your taxes, so you don't have to pay at the time of service. This is a plus for me.I have tried doing my owe taxes on-line, but it was not correct. The IRS corrected my error and found that they owed me more money and paid me what I was owed.It goes to show if you don't know what you’re doing, leave it to the professionals.

Mark Scott was extremely helpful in helping me amend and resubmit my taxes. Very knowledgeable. Will definitely be going to him for taxis again in the future!

Have had nothing but problems one after another with H&R Block. Wanted to get everything done right and they messed up on our taxes due to a system problem. Now we have to resend the tax forms through the mail when we should of had everything done right in the first place. Very dissapointed, because we were relying on that return.

My tax advisor here Rebecca and the front desk person Linda went above and beyond what was required and asked of them, this establishment is the gold standard of what it means to have customers service, I mostly don't do these kinds of reviews at all so I hope instead of taking my word for it you see for yourself, thank you guys again so much for helping me, all the best and sincerest regards - Josh C.

My return had hundreds of dollars worth of credits/deductions not accounted for including the EIC. Mark put my business income under my husband's name and SSN which would have given me no income last year. HUGE mistake! He also put our mortgage interest on the wrong line not giving the tax break necessary. Ruth is the owner and is super rude. Tried to bring it to her attention so it didn't happen to anyone else and she wasn't understanding anything. I had my return reviewed elsewhere and was told everything I had on the online software was correct. Both were compared side by side and I am astonished at the differences. He had us owing over 4k when all we owed was over a couple hundred. BEWARE OF H AND R BLOCK!! Get a CPA or tax act

I will just tell you exactly what happened and you can decide for yourself whether to do business here. 1.) Their online appointment system is a complete joke. I made two different appointments, only to receive a call from the manager to tell me those times were not available, which pushed things closer and closer to the tax deadline. 2.) I eventually got a real appointment several days before the tax deadline. I tried to complete the online pre-registration to make sure I'd be ready, but the system gave me nothing but error messages. 3.) I finally met with a tax representative and gave all relevant information except for two documents that I did not have. I submitted them electronically later that same day and was told I'd be contacted to "wrap things up" (before the tax deadline) in a couple days. 4.) They have signs all over their office stating that they will give you a quote for services before moving forward. I never received any sort of quote or estimate of charges of any kind. 5.) After a few days, I emailed the representative to check on the status of my returns and received no reply. 6.) I let about a week pass, and I was never contacted by anyone. I rightly guessed that they were going to completely fail me and decided to have someone else look at my taxes. I had to file an extension (late) and pay penalties for being late, thanks to H&R Block. 7.) Now it has been nearly 3 weeks and I still have not been contacted by anyone at H&R Block for any sort of follow-up. If not for the fact that I took my taxes to someone else to file an extension, I'd be racking up additional late penalties, thanks to H&R Block. 8.) I know they are busy around tax time, but they should have been realistic and simply filed extensions for me before the deadline to buy them more time to deliver on their promises. By overpromising and under-delivering, they have made a lifetime critic out of me. I will never consider going back to H&R Block.
