Great place to experience the great outdoors, push you to your boundaries on horseback, food experiences by a 5 star chef and people all there to do the same thing- disconnect and RELAX.

Just spent a week there last week. I didn't have a lot of expectations since I'm not a horse rider. The staff made learning to ride a horse very easy. They assigned me a horse with a demeanor that matched my riding ability. By the end of the week, I did a 5.5 hour ride covering about 11 miles up to Carrill Peak. The food was excellent all week and you never went hungry. There was always something that was available to do with enough downtime to relax in between. I met some new people from different parts of the country who we've been in contact with since our week on the ranch.I recommend trying it out if you are looking for a different type of vacation.

Cannot say enough about the RHMR. The place is beautiful and the activities were awesome. The staff was incredible and unbelievably helpful and friendly. Biggest surprise was the food and desserts. We were only expecting decent food to keep us happy and fed. What we actually received were some of the best meals and desserts we have had in a long time including one night with a 5-course dinner and wine pairing. Huge, unexpected surprise. Oh..and they have a sommelier on staff who was also incredible. Highly recommend and we hope to be back sooner than later.

If you want an experience you will remember, take a week and head here. Lots of different activities to do but the horseback riding is the main attraction. Food and drinks are great and the overall atmosphere is awesome. We went on a family week and our kids had a great time with everything they did.Food & drinks: All inclusive, get what you want.

I haven’t had the pleasure to stay here yet… however I transport families to and from here each week. All I hear is all the amazing stories and great reviews! Between the food, activities and the lodges…. I have never heard one complaint. The best part that is always emphasized is the staff! Each staff member makes sure to get to know each individual guest. They make sure they are always comfortable, have everything they need and even get to know everyone on a personal level.Needless to say I’m trying to save to bring our family here in the near future!

The best vacation for a family! We took 6 adults( 81-45 y/o) and 6 kids from 20-6 years and we all had fun packed days with nothing but rave reviews for the fabulous staff, the super food served , the diverse activities, the beautiful location. Memories to last a lifetime!

Grandma and I, with the entire family spent a glorious week at the ranch. The oldest, 70, the youngest 5. All of us found the place excellent. Three of the family have celiac disease (cannot have any gluten) , the ranch really went out of their way to have tasty and multiple food choices for them. The celiac family members really appreciated their efforts. The five year old cried for several nights wanting to go back. Enough said.

This was our first dude ranch vacation. It really exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh and really delicious. There were fresh baked goods to go with breakfast each morning. There were delicious vegetable options and the wine dinner was wonderful. I really enjoyed the beer on tap and the cocktails were yummy. The riding was super fun. Options to take lessons were wonderful and helped us feel much more comfortable on our horses. The landscape was beautiful! There were more things to do than hours in the day. Sitting on the back porch drinking coffee and watching hummingbirds was fabulous. The clay shooting and mountain biking were awesome. All of the facilities were in great condition. The rooms were really clean, the guns and bikes were nice and in great shape. Kayaking was serene. My kids were the perfect age for this trip at 6 and 8. They had sooo much fun running around with other kids into the evening. I didn't expect the evening activities but those were also super fun. A live band, guitars by the campfire, line dancing. Such a blast. I would say the website description was really accurate and they aren't making up all the activities they have and the quality of the food. I loved that there was plenty to do, the peaceful atmosphere, lack of cell service, and watching my kids have the time of their lives. I liked that I wasn't having to plan each day like a typical vacation and I wasn't having to scour restaurant reviews each day to find a place to eat. I also enjoyed getting to know the other families and watching our kids become friends. Also the staff was phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They seemed to genuinely cared that we were having a good time. If you are thinking about a dude ranch vacation, do it.

I decided to take a chance and go by myself to the solo / singles week at Red Horse Mountain Ranch and was pleasantly surprised to find a very laid-back atmosphere with no kids (even though there is plenty for kids to do during the weeks they are there), met very interesting new people and had a blast.I seem to always be the person planning things for my friend group so it was fantastic to show up on Sunday and truly not have to think about anything except having fun and eating good food until the following Saturday morning.Horse rides daily as well as plenty of other activities. The wine dinner was delicious. Staff is fun and helpful. I've told a LOT of people about it since I left.

Truly a blessed place on this earth. Top tier service and hospitality. I have worked with and around these people going on three summer seasons now and have nothing but the highest of praises for the experiences delivered on this property. Countless guest interactions and days made. Memories that last the staff, and our friends visiting (you the guest), a lifetime. Enjoy the view. Appreciate the food. Embrace the ambience. And most importantly, take a moment to reconnect with God and the world around you on a property built around love and service.Food & drinks: The kitchen staff go above and beyond to deliver delicious, fresh meals, three times a day and are ready and willing to accommodate even the most restrictive of diets and allergies.

The Red Horse is one of the best managed ranches we have been to. It was like a well oiled machine! LOL The cabins were fantastic with very comfortable beds, and provided with a fridge, coffee pot, microwave. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming! They offer many activities besides horse riding, such as zip line, archery, clay shooting, moutain bikes, obstacle course, kayaking on Lake Thompson, yoga, morning hike, pottery. The horses were very well taken care of, they have a horse for every type of rider from beginner to advanced riders and offer variety of rides! The wranglers were all great and there are plenty of them to take you on a safe ride! The barn is very neat and organized with all the tack, like I haven't seen in many ranches we been too! The food was plentiful and delicious! They cater to special dietary needs! AND the desserts were outstanding! The lodge is very very nice with a deck to overlook the horses with a cup of coffee and/or a cocktail! They provide great entertainment in the evenings in the saloon, we danced our butts off on the night with a band that comes and plays on one of the nights! They play trivia and karoake on another night! Fun Fun! I highly recommend this ranch! You will not regret it! Just book it!

My sister and I had an amazing time. Our rides were incredible! The food was good but most meals were luke warm or cold. The breakfast were great and last dinner was the Best! We met some wonderful women who we now call friends. I wish the challenge course would have been offered more than one day. We were so excited to ride the first day that we were not able to do the course. If you ever go to the Ranch, don't miss the running of the herd. It is spectacular! Emily is always smiling and I'm sure she brightens every place she goes! Arielle is an amazing Horse woman and it was inspiring watching her work with her horses. The entire staff did a great job!

Horseback riding on good quality, well-cared for horses. There are rides tailored for all levels and they offer adult-only weeks as well as for singles and women-only. If you pass the test, you can go on galloping rides. You get the same horse for the whole week, so you can get to know him. If you want, you can have a lesson. Considering that it is all-inclusive, covering all meals, beer and wine, riding, and other activities, it's a good bargain. Other activities include hiking, yoga, clay shooting, an archery course, a zip line, kayaking, biking, swimming, hot tubs, mountain biking, climbing, campfire singing, and pottery making. The staff is very accommodating. You can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had the best honeymoon at the Ranch - and the best vacation we could have dreamed up! The staff, the food, the cabin, the riding, and the location were all just perfect! The hospitality staff all went above and beyond to make our week special - they even baked us a "Congrats Newlyweds" cake The wranglers took great care of us and the horses, on not just the rides but also the rest of the activities and adventures! We'll be missing this place something awful until we come back again ?I can't recommend the Red Horse Mountain Ranch enough!
