Inexpensive place to stay a night or two. One block off the main street so easy walking to everything. Way less than the other big name hotels in town. If you just need a place to crash so you can scout around town or in the woods this place is it. If your fancy and need higher end hospitality this isnt it. You get what you pay for and this is a budget hotel.

Caught in a rainstorm during motorcycle trip. Best value in town. Recently renovated room, friendly manager and super clean. Easy walk into downtown

I’m giving 5 stars for great value, location, and service. It’s not opulent so don’t expect the Ritz. Room was clean and shower had good pressure and hot water. Room had coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, and Wi-Fi, although I did not use any. Bed mattress was a little floppy but okay for my bad back. Location a block off of the main drag made it a little more quiet and less busy. Manager was friendly and helpful. I’d go back.

We went to the Grangeville Boarder days! Everything was in walking distance and the gentleman at the desk was awesome!
The only reason it's not a 5 star is the "cabinet" that the refrigerator is in, could use repairing plus the location was um odd.
It was exactly what we needed for this event ?

It's pretty awful. I'm not going to write a book about it. If you like cigarette smoke it's great.

People have complained, but it seems to be going through a renovation. It's a decent enough place - may be reminiscent of the 70s, but guess what? So are the prices. We got a week for $350 - try to find that somewhere else. Was clean - I don't wear shoes in the room ever and my feet were never dirty. Conveniently located a block off the Main Street, so easy to walk places. Has a fridge, microwave, flat screen TV with Roku (or something similar). Our heater hadn't been updated, but the air conditioner kept the room quite cool. And the desk guy was very nice.Main problem is parking. The lot is rather small and at times, there are work trucks parked, making it a little difficult to park if the lot is full.

I stayed here at the downtowners during my travel assignment in Grangeville. Very cheap housing but it's a "you get what you pay for" experience. The guy who was operating the motel was fairly nice also.

You get what you pay for. It was some place to sleep. Would pay $20 more to stay some place nicer but options ARE limited in the area. (LOL, Towel rack fell off the wall in the night and gave us all a mini heart-attack! :-)

Taking into consideration my extenuating circumstances, this business has managed to compound the misery. I understand budgets and profit margins, so when I get charged THE MOST and receive THE LEAST from an establishment I just know someone at the top is being greedy and exploiting the common public. There are only 2 or 3 motels available in the next 50 miles... Most people just want a bed. They have the funds to fill in the gaps for convenience and supply, such as adequate cell coverage with wifi/hotspot, or even a budget to get the nicest room possible and a grocery budget. I, however, have been forced into the circumstances by acts of nature, and while trying to provide emergency shelter and heat for my daughter and myself, I chose this business from the online prices, looking for the best bargain I could find. The price online was listed at 85$ and my total charge, which was debited IMMEDIATELY, came to 125$... a 50% markup for "Taxes and surcharges"... This was applied at the very end and was only noted in the receipt informing me of the total that has been charged to my card.I was not eligible for a refund since I made the reservation for that night and lacked the 24 hours to give notice of cancellation. No refund would be applied until several business days later and I have no more money to go rent a better room. Now that I am checked into the (VERY COLD) room, there is only one bed (The site listed 2 queens) and the wifi is not working and the window heating unit is blowing cold air requiring my daughter and me to stay bundled in our winter coats under the covers. The room has a smell that says the BARE minimum has been done to clean it. I know this from working as a motel cleaning lady... I know why that funk stays in the blankets and walls. The cable advertised only has 20 channels and most of them are paid advertisement. Thanks for the shelter when we had no where else to go but f-u for exploiting the situation. Next time I'm going to pay the extra 40$ willingly for a room at Super 8... at least there the money reflects in the stay.
