Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and not busy. One of our caravan crew members got sick so we had to stop. The cashier was super cool and helped us play scratch-off games while we took a break from the road. Frazil slushies are available as well as my favorite road treat, fresh caramel popcorn balls! Definitely will stop in this quaint town and stop again.

Their hours are wrong, they open no early then 6 on any given day. The schedule is also different Mon-Thurs, Fri and Sat, and Sunday. I chose to walk to the store this morning only to find they do not open until 6.When i approached the opening manager who was preparing the deli / bakery. She exhibited no signs of wanting to resolve this conflict. And this isn't the first time i've mentioned it. Was repeatedly informed they didn't have a website while i tried to explain how to claim a business on Google.Also explained that beyond the 3+ different schedules they have, you can update it in real time. You can define your social distancing / covid measures, clearly and concisely.As a business your responsible for managing expectations, and this is a very very simple problem to solve but anyone I talk to about it insists they can do nothing. Getting short and treating it like its a fatuous problem, or i'm being a fatuous person. Either way its the incorrect way for a business to handle such a simple problem. Just because its unfamiliar, or you dont want to invest the effort to keep customers expectations within the bounds of your service.

Nice little place to take a break on a long road trip. Good variety of snacks. Decent variety of drinks. Fountain drinks and slushy drinks available. Clean bathrooms. The lot next to it is a place where you can walk your dogs and also eat. There are two picnic tables there.
