I normally don't give 5 stars because we always can improve but this place deserves 5 stars. We arrived really late like around midnightish and called and a man answered and showed up and rented my wife and I a room with our dog and while unloading the car he turned the heat on. Also checkout time is 11 but he allowed us to checkout at noon because of our late arrival. I could go on and on about all the positive of the room, bed, old cabin look, and how beautiful the scenery is/was but it would take forever. I recommend and/all of get a chance to go because my wife and our dog will be back and back there. $emper Fi!!

Helpful staff. Good value. Lovely view of the Indian Ocean. Can easily swim in the sea. Great pool with sun loungers. Outside restaurant area. Nice fish available. Catembe is quieter than Maputo and has a fab beach.

Bring your own pillows... My husband's and my pillows together didn't make one fluffy pillow. The bed was one of the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

My only real complaints are that the beds aren't very comfortable, my back hurt so bad, and the TV is SO SMALL that I had to sit on the edge of the bed. Otherwise, beautiful exterior, the staff was friendly and attentive, the rooms were nice, has everything you need for a longer stay ... fridge, microwave, cook top, sink etc. Would definitely stay again, but next time, I'm definitely bringing an eggshell roll up mattress!

This is not a fancy motel by any means. It is very old, but pretty clean.The staff were top notch! Very helpful and pleasant.There are no amenities. The beds definitely need upgraded. We had springs in our backs all night which was very uncomfortable.
