“Waters Edge Event Center in Eagle, Idaho is one of my favorite intimate wedding venues to photograph. It is located close to the Boise River and is perfect for couples planning a smaller guest count who still want a beautiful experience.
The reception room is bright and modern and the large doors open directly into the ceremony space which makes the whole day feel seamless.
As a Boise wedding photographer I highly recommend Waters Edge. The best wedding photos are taken just a few minutes away along the Boise Greenbelt where the natural light and river views create a stunning backdrop for portraits.
If you are looking for an intimate Eagle Idaho wedding venue, Waters Edge is a wonderful choice.”

“I had an excellent stay! The breakfast was fantastic, and the outdoor heated pool felt amazing especially in the freezing temperatures. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. I also loved that there were so many restaurants within walking distance. It was an all-around excellent experience, and I will definitely stay here again!”

“Discovering Red-Yoga created an instant connection to community here in Boise/Eagle. As a disabled veteran, retiree I've really come to embrace what yoga brings for longevity, mindfulness & fitness. Jenni curates both an awesome cadre of instructors & large selection of classes. Focusing all-around fitness, flexibility, stillness & healing - there is something for anyone/everyone at her studio. I've recently moved to the area and finding a place like this is a true gem in the Treasure Valley. The classes are plentiful, tho never overfilled. The space has all the equipment and the variety of classes means there is little to no repetition. Every session, either challenges or recenters you - they are spot on with the descriptions of what to expect. The instructors genuinely connect with their fellow yogis, and there is a strong sense of caring. Would certainly recommend to anyone in the area to try the introductory package for two-weeks, and see/practice with as many different classes/instructors - guessing they would find the same feelings as mine once they discovered Red-Yoga and how much benefit it can bring to your life. We even hope to invite/hire some of the instructors to come practice at our house next time we have family and friends in from out of town. This studio has been a fantastic find for us!”
“Cory and his team went above and beyond replacing our upstairs flooring. It looks absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Cory is very knowledgeable and friendly, we originally wanted to do carpet and he introduced us to the gateway flooring which better fits our lifestyle and I am so thankful! It’s great quality, very durable and easy to clean. I would highly recommend Cory and his team for your flooring needs!”
“My company had our holiday party here this year and it was a fantastic experience! As part of the coordinating committee for running our event here, I can confidently say that Andrea & her whole Knitting Factory crew made our private event a seamless process from start to finish. It was so easy to do a full in-house experience with this venue for the food, fun and music! Our employees RAVED about the food (heavy appetizers made from the venue) being the best we've ever had at one of our Christmas parties. The whiskey & cigar lounge was a huge hit and special touch to the evening as well. Thanks for a great night of celebration for our entire team, Knitting Factory!”
“We don’t usually stay in hotels, but during the Fourth of July, our neighbors tend to set off a lot of fireworks, and we have a dog who gets very anxious. So, we’ve made it a tradition to book a hotel room for the night to give our pup (and ourselves!) a peaceful place to rest. This was our third time staying at this location, and each time has been great—clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
This visit, we did run into a bit of a noise issue with a very loud and disruptive guest upstairs. They were stomping around, slamming doors, and making quite a bit of noise. We waited a couple of hours, hoping it would calm down, but it only got worse. When we finally reached out to the front desk, the staff handled it quickly, kindly, and professionally. Noise from other guests isn’t the hotel’s fault, but how they respond to situations like that says a lot—and they handled it wonderfully. After that, the rest of our stay was lovely and quiet.
We also noticed they’ve updated the rooms since our last visit—they look fantastic! Overall, we’re very happy with all of our stays here, and especially this one. We’ll definitely be back again!”

Nearby activities: We stayed at the grove to go to a concert at the Egyptian theater. Walking distance so it was fantastic!!!
Food and drinks: We had a night cap. At the bar in the Grove. Lovely gal working the bar. We also ate at the Trillium at the Grove for a very nice breakfast.”

“We went to Discovery Cebter of Idaho while on vacation. It was a fun, if small, museum experience. The actual exhibit was interesting, educational, and engaging. I wish the exhibit had been larger, though, especially given the price of admission. The science section is strongly geared towards kids and is pretty fun, but again, it is limited in size.”

“We stayed here for 3 weeks during a home repair.They made us feel so welcome. Our dog was very unsettled for the first 3 days, but she settled in nicely, considering she relied on us to leash her up several times a day and take her outside.While we were stressed with the insurance claim taking forever, the staff were all friendly and responsive to our needs.We were grateful we had a full kitchen to cook dinner daily. It saved us so much money on eating out daily, as well as feeling some sense of normalcy while being displaced from our home. (It did feel a bit strange walking through the lobby with WinCo grocery bags, though.) The breakfast was so nice. It always had a great selection of breakfast foods that had the homecooked touch, and not just a pre-packaged carb loaded food. Fresh fruit, and a different selection daily was really nice to look forward to.Our room was always cleaned on time, and now I'm spoiled. :)Thank you Homewood Suites, for making us feel comfortable while navigating an insurance claim and repair situation.This visit was neither vacation or business, but I listed it as a business stay because it was the better option of the 2 choices.We definitely will consider this hotel chain in our future travels!”

This is a decent sized venue the State Fair.
The exhibit hall is always a delight.
To see new and returning craftsmen ,artists, bakers competing for recognition and first prize along with numerous vendors both of independent and manufactured goods.
There is an exciting midway and carnival games ,so that the young members of your household will have something to suit them.
Wandering the 4H pens for prize winning live stock. Public exhibits,promoting Idaho's agricultural history.
At $12 for adult admission is inexpensive entertainment/excursion for the whole family
You will still spend a good bit of money for food and drinks and midway rides.
If you can limit those you'll still be able to see ,hear some extraordinary things at the fair.”
