I finally purchased a wooden garage door and searched so many places to find good quality straps and door pulls. I found Old West Iron and am really glad I did. These guys are great. I use their hardware at my shop for all of the super custom projects we get pulled into, and they never disappoint. Everything is top-notch, including customer service. You can tell they take pride in what they do just by looking at how they package their products for shipment, even the nuts and bolts.

The employees at this company were delightful to work with but a little difficult to get ahold of.In an email, I laid out everything I wanted, and went over it verbally. It was a great approach to ensure the end product, but I still wound up with holes drilled on a side of the angle iron a DIDN'T want. Turns out, it works better this way. The packaging was great and the look of the iron is beautiful. It compliments my door perfectly.

I’ve been working with Lisa on several projects for a new home currently under construction. I’ll be sharing pictures upon completion. Her attention to detail is amazing. One of the projects was hardware for a barn door. I never thought I’d be able to recreate the picture I showed her, however Lisa did and it turned out amazing. Old West Iron makes great hand crafted, affordable quality products. Great customer service both online and in person by phone. This company is very professional. Tess and Dora were very detailed oriented and patiently listened to what I wanted in my hammered brackets. They came out amazing and look great on my pergola. The brackets were accented with hammered hex bolts. I would definitely recommend them and buy from them again.This company is very professional. Okay everyone, I want to give Old West Iron a loud applause for the excellent Customer Service and outstanding product quality! If I could give this company 6 stars I would. I ordered to have two custom post caps made for stairs in my house that is being remodeled in Orange County. I searched through several vendors and nobody wanted to touch my design ideas. Not only did Old West Iron deliver, their creative design team improved on the ideas and we finished with what I would consider nothing less than two pieces of art. The custom builder on my home (i.e., MJ Star) was so impressed with their work they are going to refer other customers when looking for custom iron work. MJ Star is known for custom home building and remodeling for past 30 years in Southern California. If you have ever visited Laguna or Newport Beach or seen homes in the area, then more than likely you have seen one of their designs. I believe Old West Iron deserves this recognition and I would like to give a special should out to Tess. She was increadibly professional and when she said something was going to be done, it was done. Standing ovation!

I couldn't be happier. I ordered a pair of corbels from Old West Iron for an arbor my father-in-law and I are making for my daughter's wedding. As a designer, owner of an injection molding company, and car restorer he has a critical eye and we are both impressed at the quality of craftsmanship. I loved that the turn around time was less than 2 weeks and the price was more than reasonable. I live on the east coast now, but spent the first 24 years of my life in Idaho, so supporting a small company there was an added bonus. Now I'm hoping for new projects so I can order more.
