About Montour campground
Montour Campground is a very clean, cheap, and friendly place to camp. It is a cute, peaceful, and beautiful campground set off the main road, offering a great deal. The sites are well-maintained with nice green grass, lots of shade, and paved areas for biking. There are back-in spots only, with concrete pads for RVs and trailers and grassy areas for tents. Each spot has a picnic table, fire pit, and BBQ pit. The campground provides portable drinking water and vault toilets, which are noted as the cleanest seen. There are no power hookups. The location is close to fishing, the river, Roystone Hotsprings, and Black Canyon Reservoir. A friendly little store with gas is very close by. Some traffic noise can be heard. Wildlife like deer, elk, doves, and hummingbirds are seen. Mosquito repellent is recommended, and dogs are welcome. The RV dump site is available for a fee. It is a cool, great place where people plan to return.

great place to camp with travel trailer or rv tent camping. Has outside restrooms no showers, no hookups.

Do not go during mosquitoe season. This is next to a wildlife (birds) preserve. Early and after late spraying is best.

Love this place! A quick, cheap, getaway not too far from home.
