We had a recent flood and didn’t know what to do, after talking with insurance not knowing the routine of how to go about things. I was Referred to Troy with Protec Restoration. He layed out the process with transparency. Immediately had his crew out to get the process started to dry. They were very attentive and professional. Repair work came out fantastic. I’m very pleased and would refer them to anyone that needs services in restoration. Thank you Protec you guys are awesome!!

Great company with very nice people to work with. After my house was a total mess from a toilet that overflowed all day, I thought it would never be put back together right. Do not waste your time with this company. We had to follow-up to get a written bid after their home evaluation and this was the response, what a joke!And I quote, "With everything that needs to be done I am not sure we are the right company. We are going to be too expensive as it is a project a little outside of our normal scope.Instead of giving you an erroneous bid, I'd recommend you Google the company Ness and ask them to bid the project based on your protocol.But our bid would literally be around a massive six figure number and I just can't justify even trying to get you to work with us."So, this company does not perform mold remediation? And they cannot bid a 480 sf project for less than 6 figures?

I cannot say enough good / positive statements about Troy and his team. We recently had a fridge that blew the ice maker line and flooded the house. They showed up immediately and started the cleanup process. They are professional, dedicated to solving your issues, understood our concerns, made sure everything was done as good if not better than original build and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Troy had done everything possible to lower the stress level and get us back in the house asap. We had a water leak with our upstairs shower head. Pro Tec had the best reviews of the 3 names our insurance recommended. Troy came out and was super friendly and helpful figuring out what needed to be done. His crew came out not long after and started cleaning up the mess and drying things out. They got everything dry and made sure we had no mold. They kept the area clean, are honest and had great communication. We recently sold a house and, upon inspection, found some hidden water damage in the bathroom which resulted in mold growth. Our insurance company would not cover the cost because it was not sudden and accidental. Of course we were stressed, trying to sell the house and get into our new home and we were not ready to incur such a costly mold remediation and remodel. Troy and Michael were lifesavers! They came out right away and took care of the mold and they stuck true to their original estimate, despite there being more water damage than originally expected. Troy also helped guide us through the remodel process by setting us up with a contractor. He helped us keep the contractor's cost at an affordable rate and addressed all of our concerns in a timely and professional manner. Could not recommend these wonderful group of people enough. Troy came out quickly, answered all our questions and worked with us on everything. They are the kind and understanding people you need during a stressful event (like your crawlspace flooding). Everyone coming in and out of the home as well was very kind and knowledgeable. If you ever need their service 110% highly recommend working with these guys - you will not regret it. I hope to not need them again in the future but will definitely use them again if the need arises.

UPDATE: They reached out to me personally and took responsibility for their part. We are all human. I should take some responsibility as I could have called them back to complete the job the correct way. As mentioned, they are good people and the other high reviews means they do not make mistakes often. Give them a shot!I really wanted to like these guys. They are good guys and mean well. BUTFollowing a big rainstorm in June my insurance agent recommended ProTec. My basement had flooded. They did their restoration knowing that I was going to do the repair work. Not all the carpet and vinyl flooring was removed. Probably because furniture wasn't removed or moved to do so. There are low spots where water did collect.During the repair work I have found mold in 3 of the rooms in my basement. I had another restoration company come out and redo the entire mitigation.I will just post pictures of how my basement was left and the mold found if you want to deny any of that. The same ones I sent to the insurance company who had to pay again to do the job correctly. I believe they can do a good job. But I would imagine that my house was low priority and not a big money job.

Not that I was excited that I had to have restoration come to my house but I was thankful “Protec Restoration” was available. They weren’t available for us once, twice but immediately THREE TIMES!!!! My appreciation for their amazing customer service, helpful attitudes, constant contact, informative descriptions of what they will be doing, what it will look like and why, and the check-ins. Again, I had to deal with damage three times in the past two years and they were right there to help me each time. I have “Protec Restoration” on the top of my list to hand out if anyone is in need and to call if I’m in need. You guys are #1!!!

We’ve had a few minor issues with a home we bought a year ago and Protec comes out, gives honest answers, even when it means there is a small job or no job at all for them to do. They did a small mold cleanup, and dried out our hardwood floors after water leaking from our dishwasher. Everyone that I’ve dealt with at this company has been outstanding. They come out in a timely fashion, are always here when they say, and friendly service people. So happy to have found a company I can trust.Services: Flooring

My basement flooded so we made a claim through our homeowner's insurance and let me say Protec Restoration is absolutely FANTASTIC! They worked hours I didn't expect in order to meet the deadline we had for selling our house and EVERY employee was so nice and did great work even the owners were willing to help us with our unique situation to help make what would be an extremely stressful situation more easy to handle. Trust in them! They have real values that most companies have lost. Thank you for everything you have done for our family!
