We just closed on our new home, working with Gwen at Waterstone Mortgage. Gwen and her team were so helpful and patient, explaining everything in such a way that we felt comfortable and confident. In this crazy house market we're always in, the team at Waterstone was great at communicating all the items we needed for the loan process. Not every lender is for everyone, but these guys were such a great fit for us, and made the whole process streamlined and smooth, I'd think a great fit for most!

Had a great experience working with Gwen and Kevin. They made the process incredibly easy and provided us with outstanding service. I don’t know how they pulled it off, but we were able to close on our new home in just over two weeks! Gwen was very accessible and even helped us out on two separate occasions on the weekend outside of business hours. I’m a raving fan and will recommend them to others as my friend recommend them to me.

I cannot put into words how amazing Gwen's team was in our homebuying journey (huge shout out to Rich H). They were all so incredibly friendly, kind, and positive through the whole process. I would absolutely recommend having them on your team.As Rich has told us, we hold the (unfortunate) record of being the only buyers to ever have a seller back out at closing, but Rich, Gwen and the rest of the team at Waterstone stuck with us to make sure that we had a positive outcome. We are so grateful for the support, dedication, and hard work that this team put in to get us across the finish line.

This is the third loan that Gwen and her team have done for me. All three done at different stages of my life. In 2018 she and the team guided me through my first home. In 2021 they helped gain independence in a refinance. And now I’m 2023 her and the team have helped me regain some control of a financial hardship that came with having my last child. So many things have remained consistent and true throughout all these processes. It was mostly effortless, I didn’t have to stress much, which made the process less daunting. She has a strong team! Lastly, the kindness and compassion I have felt all three times has put her and her team so highly regarded in my mind that anyone that doesn’t chose her as their loan originator are foolish!!! ?

I have always wanted to own my own home. I make average wages in a sellers market. My husband had been working on his credit score for the last few years. We had a few conversations with Gwen and her team and just a few short months we are over the finish line! Gwen knew we were payment driven and she worked all the way up until the night before closing to get everything squared away! It was actually a really easy process I thought I would be told “No”. Before I started my journey. I wasn't ready in my mind to purchase a home. Until I came across a home that I like at that time. I decided to look at lenders that was advertised on commercial ads. I'd started making phone calls to national lenders. So, my quest as started in the home buying. The next step was needing a realtor agent. It was with Diana Register. Diana was happy to represent my best interests. She asked if I was per-approved for a home loan and the amount. I was asked the basic questions and answer them. Her best advise... I should look at a local lenders, i.e Gwen Swain with Waterstone Mortgage. Having someone to talk to and walk you through the process, makes a big difference. Gwen and her team was always there... every step of the way. The key area on how to improve on your credit score. As well as the necessary steps taken and the key area to focus on. Especially when it's down to the wire. What do I have to say about Gwen and her firm. I would recommend her all day... everyday. Hopefully this will speak volume.
