Took an Avy 1 course here and would highly recommend it. After taking this course, I feel competent and prepared planning routes and venturing into the backcountry. The instructors were exceptional in their knowledge, friendliness, and were always happy to answer any and every question I could think of. Great experience

I really just want to thank Rich atYostmark for his professional service always very helpful. I just purchased a new pair of Oboz...With his recommendation and even the first day they are super comfortable and good for my feet working on concrete. They are the Bridger model as a hiker and they work great!

Decent selection of backpacking and camping gear, but very expensive clothing options. Whenever I've come in, the employees are not engaging and sometimes not particularly friendly. Not a welcoming feeling. A friend of mine was eyeing a pair of skis and, unprompted, an employee insinuated the skis were too long for her. I guarantee she could out-ski this guy.

Was looking to rent the 10L bear canister to split with another person for 5 nights. Whoever I spoke with wasn't initially sure of the size, but when I asked if it was 7 or 10 or 12L, they confidently told me 10L.Once we got out there to pick it up, they only have the 7L. Had to drastically cut back on our food for the trip.
