Don't waste time and money here. I've spent more time getting my tyranny and rear main fixed off warranty then I drove the truck. Now I. Having leaking issues again and he is giving he the run around. He got tired of fixing his issues now he's pushing it off. DONT WASTE TIME AND MONEY HERE!

People like Paul Howard get on here and complain about a transmission that he got 75000 miles on, affordable transmission would have helped him out if he bought it back, but he chose to bring to another shop first, then comes on here and repeats lies that were told to him by another shop

02-14-2022 Update: approx 75,000 miles later and the transmission is being rebuilt again at another shop. The technician there is saying everything in the transmission is original stock except the sun shell which was a cheap aftermarket replacement not a hardened shell like I was told. It appears that the first time it was “rebuilt” only the broken parts were replaced and the transmission was not rebuilt as I was told it was only repaired which makes this the most expensive shop considering I paid $1800 ($500 parts, $1300 labor) to “rebuild” it and other shops were charging $2200 for a fully rebuilt transmission and installation at the time. I thought i was getting a good deal and supporting a local business. Lessoned learned you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for an honest reliable transmission rebuild.Original review: Less expensive than everyone else, super fast, and great to work with but you get what you pay for I guess. Months later started having problems with an O2 sensor, crawled under the truck and found the wire harness has been rubbing on the front driveshaft because it was not secured properly, also missing a small dust plate under the starter. I called to give them an opportunity to make it right and was told my warranty didn’t cover the rubbing wire, and that the cover must have broke when being removed so they didn’t bother replacing it. I guess the one year warranty doesn’t cover workmanship and they will decide what parts are needed when putting it back together. They did offer to install the O2 sensor if I purchased it but at this point I will just take care of it myself. I would defiantly look over the vehicle once you get it back if you decide to use them.Service: Transmission

Rebuilt turbo 400 with 2 stage shift kit! Saw the t-case seal was bad and changed it out. Shifts great now! Great job.

Clyde went out of his way to work me in on a holiday. He was an expert in the analysis of my problem. On Memorial Day Clyde sacrificed his own plans to help me continue on my way to CA. He exceeded expectations in every way and even called me the next day to see how my truck was running, etc. Clyde is a one-of-a-kind expert in mechanics and I highly recommend him.

Went to another garage for transmission service. Got quoted for a complete rebuild. I didn't think my truck needed it...took it to affordable transmission instead and they were able to diagnose and repair without a rebuild. Fantastic service...and great pricing. Highly recommend these guys.
