Fricking horrible customer service! You better take a hard pass on them or you'll regret it. My service is not consistent the only thing consistent is the price that keeps escalating consistently! Last draw was having to purchase a streaming app due to tds being out for the whole nfl conference championship game. I called to ask about getting reimbursement and just got run around. Not happy at all so consider yourself warned!

Horrible service and ZERO accountability for wrecking peoples lawn irrigation systems. Their prices continue to increase and the quality is horse manure. They even had the audacity to charge me a late fee while I was enrolled in autopay for 2 years. No excuse for this kind of treatment.

If you live in the Kootenai County area like me and require high speed fiber optic internet services, TDS Fiber is THE ONLY option y'all should consider in my opinion!TDS specializes in providing fiber optic internet installation and modern high speed connection services to out dated, older homes like my residence.Their entire team is very professional, organized, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I'm returning to school after many moons, and my course assignments will be submitted online. My previous internet provider was not professional and helpful as far as taking the time to explain to this middle aged woman what type of internet services I would need to aquire for my courses, nor were they willing to provide a decent price in addition to my request for high speed internet.Consequently, I canceled that internet provider, and after speaking with a very friendly and knowledgeable TDS salesperson in my neighborhood, I made the wise decision to have TDS Fiber come out to install the Fiber Optic Internet hub for my residence. The awesome new customer install team wash SO personable and professional, I really appreciate their old fashioned customers service and patience, as far as their length of time it took their awesome team to install the Fiber Optic Internet service inside and outside my old home; as well as installing a system for future TDS customer to access their own Fiber Optic Internet if you they choose to in the future.I am very thankful for the TDS team taking their time on my order as well as providing me with the internet services I needed to once again attend college after many years of debate!!TDS is definitely the best, if I could rate them higher than than 5 stars I would!!

Customer Service is seriously so bad.My grandparents got a letter in mail stating they owed over $400 in charges+ late fees. My grandma paid the bill on the time for over a year. My grandma called TDS they were no help and hung up on her, my grandpa called no help. So finally I called them and got some “help” TDS said my gma wasn’t paying the correct amount every month. How was she supposed to know that? I checked her emails no emails from them. Never one phone call or text from TDS. Nothing in the mail box besides the $400+ fees. Why are my grandparents just now getting a notice?? 12 months later?? I spoke to senior rep. She said all she could do was take off $30. Wow $30 seriously?? Thanks for taking up 5 hours of our time on the phone only take off $30!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would! THE WORST. I called to schedule to have fiber hooked up. That was a joke in itself, I was transferred to 3 different people before I actually got it scheduled. The people came to hook it up but was unable to due to idk something, tbh I don't even think they knew. I was told I would get a call on Monday to re schedule. 8 days later I HAD TO CALL THEM......now we are 3 weeks onto this. After I finally got ahold of someone they said it would be another 2 weeks before I could get it. The house next to me has TDS, what's the issue? Either way I canceled everything and got internet the very next day from a different provider.Communication...... garbageService........ non existingGO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR INTERNET.

You should probably talk with the guy driving the truck with plate # KX 7226this guy has parked on a blind corner without a cone around his truck. 1st night I almost hit him. He has parked in the same spot for 3 nights with no warnings that the truck is there.

Not reliable! Our Internet is always going offline. We continue to have this issue and I think it may be time to switch to something more reliable. Updated 10-10-2023.

I'm not contacting this company for the millionth time.. here's what happened. We had a technician out because our service was not working. He told us our equipment was too outdated and proceeded to upgrade the equipment, removing our old and taking it with him. 3 months later I get hit with a $900 charge stating that we didn't return equipment. This is the beginning of the end. Thank God I had my auto pay set to not accept payments over $250, because that's what they took out after reversing the $900 false charge. I then had to call, and wait over 14 days for my $250 to be credited back. I repeatedly asked to speak with a supervisor. Surprisingly, no one has EVER called me. But it doesn't end there, I removed the automatic payments, and last month received a bill for $250.. just no reason. My monthly payment history is correct on the website, my balance is $0, paid on time every month, and yet, my balance is $250... if I hadn't caught these charges right away, my account would have been debited over $1000.. no notice, nothing. No supervisor will talk to me or even call me back. It was super lame to try and take that amount out of someone's checking account without first reaching out to see if it was accurate. Especially when it was a company mistake.

Pretty disappointed with the install, was informed that the temporary line laying on the landscape would only be there for two weeks until they would come and dig. It is now two and a half months of this line laying on the landscape and not a single answer of when it would be completed. TDS just passes the buck saying it is the contractor to dig that is the delay and that there are others that have waited far longer. The issue is if they would have just stated it would take two months to complete the line I would have waited until it was dug before starting the service. No problems with the speeds but customer service and satisfaction is lacking.

I was excited to get TDS this last winter in Post Falls. Internet quality has been good. The issues arise with their customer service and bait and switch internal advertising. I have had a technical issue call where the guy told me I didn’t know what I was talking about and did not help me with TV issues related to my box. I then had gone to adjust my services through my account login, signed up to change services and then was basically told that wasn’t a thing even though I have screenshots. Definitely felt like bait and switch advertising where my price was almost double for what they had. After getting fed up, I switched back to my old provider and they locked me out of my account to where I can no longer see my bills. Things just feel off and it seems like sketchy business practices or an uneducated customer service team. I had high hopes but do not plan to return to TDS. If anyone would like to reach out from customer service (I’ve called twice today), I would love access to my bills and payment history for the entirety of my time with TDS.

Anyone considering TDS should take caution given my experience and the experiences of sooooo many others. For starters the Free 3 month promotion I signed up under was billed each month. As a result I needed to call each month and remind TDS of what the word "Free" means, at least to me. The 3rd month, I became so drained in fighting my cause that I just paid what was billed. Next came the needed repair(s) to my irrigation system. TDS has denied any damage saying the TDS cable was an aerial drop from the pole to our house and did not need trenching. Wrong! TDS is still unable to explain just how then their cable got into the ground at my home. INSANE! When questioned about the damage which had just been witnessed during the installtion the lead crew-member was quick to point out that a team would be promptly back in the spring to repair any and all damages to the irrigation system; by the way this was 4 months ago. Any prospective customer should take note and not get sucked into what appears to be a great opportunity with TDS!

Just called customer service to cancel our cable tv service because no one really uses it anymore and we had the most rude customer service rep ever from the disconnection department. They were asking if we were okay with paying $22 to return the tv box and I asked if we could just return it to the service center like 2 miles away and they just angrily repeated the question about authorizing the cost or not. I said no of course and was put on hold for a few minutes and they returned saying they were sending the box with it seems no cost now and just ended the call without asking if there was anything else they could do. She was the most rude person to my aging mother that was being very polite on the phone she cannot afford to pay for services she doesn't use as a senior. Very unexcusable behavior and down right rude. Seems like the rep took it personally for why I have no clue.Big surprise our internet got shutoff soon after talking with the rep. We did not ask for our internet to be cancelled.

Not a customer. They hired a bad company who didn't notify us (but claimed they did), dug up our yard, inadequately filled holes and drove off with the dirt. we wonder if they are selling the dirt for their own profit.They did dishonest things to cover their tracks. Their boss admitted that they are doing their jobs wrong, and admitted that the city where I live are very angry. He promised to retrain them and fix the damage, then reneged on this.A neighbor butted in and he gossiped with her, then his employees trespassed in our yard and ate lunch under a tree. They aLao put their belongings on our yard. I don't know why it says that I am from California. I am from Green Bay, Wisconsin
