It has been a few years since we’ve bought a new/ used vehicle for ourselves and Travis at Sunset Motors made our buying experience wonderful! Very low key and zero pressure in buying a vehicle. We chose Sunset Motors over all of the other dealers that had similar vehicles based on advertised condition and fair pricing! Team was nice and accommodating. They delivered an f150 to me from Idaho to Montana. I was told over the phone that the truck was in extremely clean condition so I agreed on the purchase with only photos. After owning the truck now for almost a year I can see that they covered up a bunch of rust underneath the truck with undercoating. I would have still purchased the truck but knowing this now it was not worth the money I paid for a “clean truck”.

I'd describe Rick and team at Sunset Motors as 'the last great dealership'. It harkens to a time when relationships are honored, dealers want your peace of mind first and foremost, and ethical integrity of the people who work there. I was impressed with Rick personally picking me up at the airport to show me the truck I flew in to consider. I was also impressed that he took me to a mechanic to have it inspected and the computer checked. The result, an easy decision on my part and an outstanding truck and sales process. After one phone call to Rick from Sunset Motors, I ended my search for a truck. I knew that they were who I wanted to work with. He did not try to sell me anything. I knew what I wanted, and he was determined to find it for me. One week later he called informing me that he found the truck. The truck checked every box, was exactly what I wanted, and was at a great price. Not only did they service, inspect, and detail the truck from bumper to bumper, Rick personally drove seven hours to deliver the truck to me. I dealt with Travis down there and he helped the process go extremely smoothly. He came in on a Saturday in order to let me check out a vehicle I showed interest in less than 24 hrs prior. When I arrived he let me look around the vehicle, which I ultimately decided didn’t align exactly with what I had been looking for. I told him what specific details I wanted to see on my new rig, and then asked him what else he had on the lot. He showed me a couple other trucks and asked for my input on what I liked and what I did not, before showing me a vehicle that they had just taken delivery of and was still in the process of being serviced and checked it. This turned out to be the one. At no point did he try to pressure me or persuade me in any direction, he left the choice entirely up to me, and didn’t try to sell me, unlike most salesmen you may encounter (which I appreciated). A very cool and laid back salesman. Just one reason would recommend this place, and one of the main reasons I decided to shop locally and at one of these smaller dealerships. You wouldn’t find this at a place like Dave Smith or one of the many other dealerships in the area, at least not in a genuine sense. A few day later, when the vehicle was serviced, I drove it home. I was glad to support local business and I was highly pleased with my visit to Sunset Motors. I would highly recommend.
