Ok so went to by pizza dough every individual and large dough was expired Oct and Dec 2013 yhe lady that worked ther in slf check I was told to give it to ,says will the company is suppose to change it out omg seriously no that is on Safeway especially when mold is growing on several .seriously! People check you dates at safe way !!!!!

THIS IS ACTUALLY ANOTHER SHOUT OUT FOR THE IRONWOOD LOCATION!!!!!I can't say enough about my neighbor location!!!LINDSAY helped me at self check out last night, making sure I got my discounts, didn't roll her eyes, or sigh.....she stayed by my side until all my questions and concerns were answered and taken care of!!!THIS IS HOW THIS SEASONED CREW OPERATES!!!Always and consistently!!!! THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE,40 years and it just gets BETTER!!!!Lindsay Bless your heart for your kindness and thoughtfulness!!!

I really like the automatic texts telling me my 90-day prescription refills are ready for pickup. The pharmacy is Extremely busy, usually a 30- minute wait in line for pickup. It's just so inefficient.

Beware when you use their App. For delivery. Daughter placed an order this morning using the Safeway App. Since she ordered something hot from the Deli, they said her delivery time was between 4-9 pm. Crazy! The delivery came at 8:50 pm., and they did not deliver the Deli order. The store called and told her if she wanted the rest of her order she needed to go pick it up herself. After paying a delivery fee & a tip, that was their solution. Went on the website and asked for a refund. It will be interesting to see what their response is.

Clean isles, well stocked, and plenty of service in the deli, at the meat counter, and in the produce department. This store is just an example of how Safeways and Albertsons establish an image of how each of their stores will look, and I have found that to be true in California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Nevada. This store easily meets the corporate standard of excellence they have established for consumers expectations…

I went to get some food at the CDA deli today. I stood at the counter for no less than 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. I made eye contact with an employee in the back, but he had no interest in helping me. Another employee came by with a thermometer and a tablet. She acknowledged me and said she would be right there. I stood there while she continued to take her temperatures. Then she came behind the counter and continued to do her side job, all the while still not helping me. Finally, the one person in front that seems willing to actually help someone was able to get my food for me. What's worse is the store manager that I spoke to about this encounter seemed completely indifferent.This place doesn't care at all about their customers. I don't understand how 2 deli employees acknowledged me, saw me waiting to be helped, but continued to ignore me. Sadly, my words won't matter. They won't care if I never shop there again. What a few bucks a week, right? So nothing will change and the world keeps spinning.If you do go shopping here, just know that taking cooler temperatures and preparing food in the back is more important than customer service.

Store is clean and well stocked. The deli section is sub par. Food is old, tasteless and the employees clueless and slow. They don't know the difference between a Buffalo wing and salt and vinegar wing. Nor, do they care to ask and find out. "You get whatever you get" attitude.

Regarding REBECCA. I typically drive out of the way to shop here. I generally like Safeway, but after recent experience have chose to shop elsewhere.Customer service goes a LONG way with me. On my last visit, 10/09/23, entering store I see selection of pumpkins out front and big sign that says .39 cents a pound. I grabbed one and went inside to finish my shopping and at checkout the pumpkin came up as .49 cents a pound.I flagged employee down for assistance as I was at self-checkout. Rebecca comes over and I let her know it is ringing up incorrectly, she goes to check and comes back inside WITH the sign that says .39 cents a pound and tells me “someone forgot to pull the sign, the price is .49 cents a pound”This employee did not care about customer service and retaining a regular customer over a measly couple bucks. The price shown should have been honored.

Feel the need to compliment two young men working today 9/11/23 approx 4 p.m. One-was working the service desk…the other bringing carts in from the lot. Both were extra polite and helpful. Their mother’s must be proud! It’ll be back…

Horrible service at checkout..not the employee ...it's the lack of employees to work the check stands...10-12 people in line and only 1 register open and no baggers on a busy Sunday afternoon...looks like they want to push everyone to self checkout...

Normally I’m not super picky and almost everytime things go without much issue but this morning was just too rude to not mention. The cashier Terrie was forceful and rude. There were multiple staff available to help her yet she still yelled over the speaker and to their face about one specific worker. His name was Matt and it was clear he was doing his job outside of helping bag things that Terrie clearly had the chance to do herself and instead she chose to bad mouth the other employee to everyone in line and yell at him once he was able to finally respond. I know that to most this wouldn’t really register but I don’t see why anyone would want to go to a store where the employees are loudly reprimanding and insulting their coworkers to purposely embarrass them…..probably the most shockingly toxic environment I’ve ever seen in a grocery store

This place has the worst customer service. I've never posted about the bad service I've gotten over the years. Sneers, back talk and outright hostile insults. And I have reported all this to the manager to no avail.Today I asked for paper bags and apparently the bag boy didn't hear me at first. So I asked a second time after he started putting my groceries in plastic. He changed over to paper and purposely put my raspberries on the bottom and of course they were smashed beyond recognition and made quite the mess. Screw you bag boy and Safeway on Neider st, you suck as usual.

Always have a good time while shopping at Safeway. Friendly staff, great deals. Only issue is with their app. Seems after an update, it won't allow us to get to our shopping list, always crashes. Other than that, everything is great!!
