I recently had multiple dental appointments at RDC stemming from an accident. Dr. Price and all of the staff, including the billing department, made what was a very stressful situation into one that I am so thankful for. They really do treat you like family, and I would highly recommend RDC for you and your family.

Easy to get an appointment, great facility and service and although I've had different dentists there, at different appointments, with my approval, all have left me feeling grateful for their professionalism and relative painless resolutions to my needed dental repairs.

Edit: after speaking with Riverstone, it seems that Dr. Foutz is just a dentist that’s very aggressive with his treatment and feels the need to fill cavities that are still forming. I’m not sure that I fully buy it, but I would still advise people to stay away from Dr. Foutz unless maybe they want a dentist that’s very treatment aggressive. I’m a bit unsure of whether I’ll go back and give the other dentists a chance in 6 months, but I still can’t speak highly enough of the office staff. They’ve always been wonderful and helpful.TL;DR: Everyone in the office was so lovely, but the dentist I saw (Dr. Foutz) said I had 5 cavities that needed filling that magically appeared on my x-rays in the 6 months since my last exam. I sent the x-rays to my dentist from the east coast that I trust implicitly, he was not seeing any of what Dr. Foutz was seeing, and advised me not to get any fillings. I’d advise others to steer clear of Dr. Foutz.I should start by saying that I’ve never written a negative review before in my life, but I was very disappointed with my experience at Riverstone Dental CDA and hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else.I’m new to the area and was referred to Riverstone for my 6 month cleaning/exam by a friend. Everyone in the office was super nice, and the cleaning itself was great. The hygienist was lovely and kept telling me how easy my teeth were to clean. However, as soon as the dentist (Dr. Foutz, I believe) arrived to look at my x-rays, he started counting up all the cavities he saw. Now, these were supposedly interproximal cavities (in between two teeth) that would require cutting away parts of the healthy teeth to get to the decay. This scared me, especially considering I had X-rays done 6 months before that only showed one tooth to keep an eye on. Now there were 5 cavities that needed filling?I decided to get a second opinion, so I had the x-rays emailed to me (again, everyone in the office is lovely and so helpful), then sent them, along with the invoice detailing the fillings Dr. Foutz wanted done, to my longtime dentist from back home in the New York City area. He called me very concerned, hoping I hadn’t gotten any work done. Thank goodness I hadn’t because my dentist from home saw nothing other than the same tooth from 6 months ago that I should keep an eye on (i.e. not bad enough to fill). That’s very different than 5 cavities! Aside from the fact I trust my longtime dentist implicitly based on my years of experience with him, I’d trust the dentist looking at my x-rays for free with no profit motive over the dentist interested in doing FIVE procedures any day.I honestly can’t believe this happened to me, as it’s something you hear about happening to others, but you never think it would happen to you. I’m not sure if Dr. Foutz was just very, very mistaken, or he was trying to swindle me. I prefer believing the former because at least it’s not malicious. Either way, I would at least steer clear of Dr. Foutz (I really hope I’m spelling that correctly). I’d prefer this didn’t happen to anyone who doesn’t have a kind dentist that can give you a free second opinion.

I got the sleep apnea dental device the one that has an upper and lower trays with selections for increasing mm of lower jawfor me personally, I have several mental health disabilities, one of them mainly is autism. and so I have Sensory sensitivity with lights sounds and physical touching feelings. and so the CPAP machine headset did not work for me. I tried two styles of headsets. but the touch of the headsets made it really difficult to wear long termor made it where it was not comfy enough to wear long term.the device itself. worked wonderfully. as the machine gave me enough air to sleep better and I was Not as tired as I was before it or without it. the sleep Dr confirmed my numbers. my roommate noticed I was not snoring as much. and before that my today m roommate said I would stop breathing for sometimes almost a minute give or take I think.the company I did the CPAP machine through is Norco. I think.i would definitely recommend them for people with sleep apnea. as long as someone is not sensitive to touch as easily as I am.I think that also includes people with an itching disorder possibly lik as pseriosis or suchbut their devices are really well made for helping with sleep apnea.but that saideither orthe mouth device is much easier.for autistic people or skin sensitive people or any normal average people off the street that are looking to get their life easier functioning again. :)at riverstone dental the device was 2750$ ish give or take your insurance. even if it's riverstone dental's discount insurance... it's still a great issuance they have.and it's definitely worth the price even if you have to bite that bullet and pay out of pocket.plus my device has I think a 3 year warranty.and you can also pay with HSA or flex benefits cards with what some insurance companies offer.as long as there can be a payment processed. :Dover all the device is worth it with whatever way you can afford it .I can stand by that . cause I was getting to the point where I needed a nap at least once in almost every day of any week or so.not just a few hours but sometimes like 4 or 5 or so hours. and I would still feel tired a few hours later even if I just went to the store down the street or just watched TV or something.also. Dr Tanner is the current Dr at the time of this posting.he is a wonderful man. and great dental Dr. :)like I said I have autism... and sometimes I can be a bit much for some people. not on purpose. it's just a struggle sometimes...but Dr Tanner is patient enough with me and I'm grateful for his patience . :) even if he might struggle sometimes too with me. :)but who doesn't.but thank you for reading this hopefully.hope you as a reader are blessed by this post. if not I apologize.be well. God bless you all and yours.

While I don't write a lot of reviews, I felt the need to do so after my most recent appointment. I am typically very nervous about dentistry, but Riverstone Dental Care does a superb job at making you feel comfortable. It takes an entire team effort to create such a positive experience (especially in this particular industry I'm sure), but Riverstone Dental Care is just super pleasant. As someone who avoided dentistry in the past, the first appointment laid out a dentistry plan, tiered by importance (and it was extremely genuine in my opinion) and they made every effort to ensure I could financially plan ahead to make it as least impactful to my budget as possible. When I went in for actual dentistry work yesterday (root canal) the entire staff spent a great amount of time explaining the process and ensuring that at no point was I uncomfortable or in any sort of pain. If you're avoiding dentistry because of perceived dental pain or anxiety like I did for years, this is your sign to pick up the phone and schedule an appointment like I did, you won't regret it. Thank you everyone at Riverstone Dental Care (both locations)!!

I hate going to the dentist and this experience was a pleasant one. I will definitely be back. They were willing to answer all of my questions and actually took my concerns into account. Thank you so much! I believe I saw Dr. Dryden and I can say I have found a dentist I can trust and actually talk to and he listens!
