The CDA Lowe's was my original go to hardware store until today. They have no checkers upfront now, its all self service. I guess I'll switch to Home Depot in the future. Their were also a lot of people behind me that were upset also. Also, I can never find someone to help me in the electrical or plumbing departments. They are going downhill in my opinion.

Friendly, helpful, large selection, and an easy return when what we bought we didn't need in the end. The staff was spot-on with anything we needed. Loved our experience at this Lowe's!

Terrible customer service. They sold a really terrible quality sprinkler to me three months ago. It broke but because I paid cash for it and did not have the receipt they would not take it back. Terrible way to treat a long-term customer.

I purchased a large rug that was in stock at the time of purchase only to have the rug order canceled without my knowledge. It was too large for me to transport so I paid to have it delivered. They gave me no notice or reason why.

The customer service at this store (including the store manager) sucks big time. I ordered a Heartland shed on 2-22-23. I could have selected an earlier arrival date but opted to select a later date for delivery which was March 15, 2023 since I was going to be out of town. Just prior to that date arriving, I received notification that the delivery date was changed by Lowes to Wednesday, March 22, 2023. On March 21, 2023, I went into the Coeur D' Alene store and spoke to the Order desk and was told that the shed was in fact in the distribution or fullfillment center and was suppose to be delivered as scheduled on March 22, 2023. They could not give me any more information. Although, I asked to speak to the store manager, he or she NEVER showed up. Then on March 22, 2023 at 6:00 a.m., I received another e-mail informing me that the delivery date was again changed to March 24, 2023. What type of courtesy is it to call me the morning of the day of delivery to tell me they will not be out and the date has changed.? How rude is that? What type of customer service is Lowe's providing? SHAME ON YOU LOWES. SHAME ON YOU STORE MANAGER. As part of the purchase price, I paid extra for the delivery. I am sure the only reason I have not received the shed is because Lowe's does not want to deliver my shed unless they can fill the truck with other deliveries in the same area. I am very unhappy about the customer service I have received from Lowes. This has been a lesson to me and I will never Order from Lowes in the future.

I was in this morning around 10 am at the CoeurdAlene, ID store to return a 4 year old Kobalt Battery Powered Chainsaw that would no longer operate. When I arrived I was first told to contact the manufacturer(Kobalt) where I obtained an authorization number that, according to the Warranty, should have lead to an in store refund or replacement. I asked for a refund. I have changed my VCOSTCO VISA card a couple times since the date of purchase due to my card's number being compromised, which I think is the primary reason Lowes could not process a refund. The clerk at the return desk tried everything to effect a refund, but to no avail even after getting assistance from Management and IT. I did not want an In Store Credit, but that is the only thing that was possible at that store, so I walked away with a card representing a credit I could use at the store or for that matter any Lowe's store. This is not acceptable when you think about the terms of the Kobalt 5 year Warranty, that turned out to be worthless

I paid $35.00 to have someone come to my home and measure for flooring I had picked out. Adrien (who contracts with Lowes) called before he came. He started out negative asking if I wanted to reuse my molding. He said that would void any warranty. Not one positive, he arrived and started measuring he was not friendly but that was ok. I asked him several questions about the molding. On the phone he said they only install the flooring. When I asked again he said that they remove the old flooring and that I could use the molding I have. My husband (79 and recovering from cancer) asked about the measurements. He said he would not be giving them to us when he finished measuring because we were cobative?? He left! Did not finish. I called the salesperson who helped us. He said the manager would be calling me. I am still waiting. Ridiculous

WOW!!!! The absolute WORST customer service I've ever heard. My dad called ahead and ordered a smoker for myself and my husband for Christmas. He was told he could come get it Christmas Eve ANY TIME BEFORE 6pm. He shows up tonight at 545pm to be told those workers "went home early so the order cannot be filled". How disgusting do you have to be to LIE and be LAZY and say you'll fill a Christmas Eve order for someone to cook their family Christmas meal in.

I ordered 24 windows from Lowes over a year ago. I was scheduled for a March install, the windows arrived at the store in July. They finally installed them in November. 75% of the windows were the wrong size and another 4 we're the the wrong color. Still waiting for the replacement windows to be installed. Was just informed they will be in the store by 1/22/22. This project will have gone on for over 14 months.

I placed an order online for an item that was listed in stock. I placed the order got a text that said they received it and that was it. I went back on later because I hadn't gotten any updates, my order had been canceled and my money was refunded. There was no explanation as to why nothing. I tried the MyLo chat, that was a joke it has limited responses and cldnt tell me anything. Just says to call. I called the store directly and talked to an actual person and he found it in minutes and set it aside for me. Customer service was great. But as far as whoever is doing the online orders? A complete joke.no one cld tell me anything about the online issue and blew it off. Just don't order online if you can help it.

Either you have customer service, or you don't. I ordered online (for God's sake Lowes, you have got to do something about your online experience, it's outdated and terribly clunky) and couldn't pick up my items right away because I live about 40 miles away and work full time so went to call and let them know I'd be in on the weekend to pick it up. After going through a frustrating voice prompt system the phone started to ring, and ring, and ring...and...I was on my lunch, I left my work, walked to my truck, waited for it to warm up, drove two miles to a grocery store having to wait to turn at the highway intersection, got to the store and parked and got "Customer Service". I said "Oh you are open! You know the phone rang probably 200 times (every 5 seconds over about 18 minutes), very matter of factly without attitude. All I got was a very broken English "How may I help you" very difficult to understand and had to ask three of four times what was being asked in order to answer their questions. Pure indifference to the lack of good service or my comment. I'm giving one star because of the irony between the words customer service, and how it's represented along with the online experience. I'm super disappointed since I had sworn off the orange home improvement store about ten years ago and switched my buying to this Lowes. I'm also an investor, based on my experience and the other comments, I would wonder about the overall performance of Lowes in the long term..are they going to win the market and be here for the long haul...not if this is indicative of the company.
