This company is an absolute joke they lied to me and they lied to my customer I am a certified technician and I run my own business after working for many dealerships and being certified in many different makes and models I specialize in Subaru work a customer of mine brought me their Subaru but come to find out they had a blow and go in the vehicle which Lloyd's Automotive installed they installed it in properly they took the power source from the OBD scan Port which was needed to scan check engine light I let the customer know that we need to contact them and give the car back to them to fix their mistake so then we can further diagnose the car and fix it I took the car to Lloyd's they said no problem we'll take care of it right away they kept the car for two days and did not bother telling me that it was ready to pick back up I had to call and ask them oh yeah it's ready they said thanks for calling all the lights bells and whistles were on in the car when I delivered it to them because I could not scan it they were still on when I received the car back from them they told me that they could scan it and they did scan it and it did not have any check engine lights I don't know how they could think that they could pull that over on someone when obviously it still has check engine lights and everything was still lit up like a Christmas tree I called them up and said Hey listen you guys were supposed to fix the check engine light OBD Port so I could scan it and fix their car whatever you did was half asked I said and he said excuse me we do stand-up work here and I said you do that's why you did not secure the blow and go Smart Box up under the dash where it was supposed to go you left the kick panel hanging down against the brake pedal along with the computer module for the blow and go laying against the brake pedal the scan Port was still dead would not work he assured me that it was working fine and that I should bring the car back to them and he would scan it in front of me I said oh so I waste the customers time and money and fuel along with my time for you to do nothing once again come to find out they took the the power wire off of the OBD power port and wrapped some black tape around where they had cut into it to gain power for the blow and go box and then just called it good rewired it into some other hot wire somewhere there's no way they scanned it because the fuse for the OBD Port had been blown which is in the engine bay number 15 to be exact 7.5 I've had many other customers with bad experience with these guys as well I fix a lot of their problems long story short stay far away they lie through their teeth if I could give them a zero star review I would

Scott does an outstanding job heading up things… My car was seen in a timely manner, the issue was diagnosed well and thoroughly. I look forward to having them work on my car in the near future.

Lloyds auto showed me what they think of there customers.I paid to have lifters changed on my Durango.I got hurt at work so I had each side done , at two week interval. Passengers side the mechanic says he oiled them, it sounded terrible, driver's side the mechanic was awesome. They said a couple lifters collapsed, yeah and if you don't oil them. They will, but I cant prove it.So I did say could you cut me little slack since I have to pay too get it done again. After two weeks the boss man said no, not a penny. I did supply the parts because they take a while too get. Hell I wasn't asking for much, even the large shops in post falls said, just being a veteran and simple consideration we would make you feel better. This cut throat jack ass didn't even say thank you when I paid but he bends over backwards if your a bitching female who slanders that place.Thid.guy is consumed with greed. I promise you I know where to tell people. Not to go and if I ever see him I know where I will tell him to go greedy horses ass.

In June we had our a/c and another problem "fixed". By 1st of August neither was working. Took our vehicle back and they had it for 2 1/2 weeks without a phone call. We finally called them and they found more problems with a/c but they never called us to see if we wanted it fixed!!! The other problem was NEVER fixed! So $1600 later, our 2 problems were not taken care of AND WE HAD TO CALL THEM to find out what was going on. I never write bad reviews but I would NEVER take any of my vehicles back. Now we have to try to find another place and pay another $1600? to HOPEFULLY get them fixed.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

I scheduled an appointment with Scott, the shop foreman, three weeks in advance to have work done on the lifters on my Chevy 5.7-liter engine. I dropped the vehicle off on the scheduled date (a Monday), called him on Tuesday for an update, and was told that it hadn't been looked at yet. I got the same response on Wednesday, and Scott told me that the mechanic who does the required work was on vacation that whole week. I asked him why he had scheduled my appointment knowing that this mechanic was going to be on vacation. Scott, to his credit, admitted that he had screwed up. So two days of motel & car-rental fees plus meal expenses had been iincurred without any work being done on my engine. I picked up the vehicle on Thursday and returned on Monday to have the work done. The lifters were showing their age (22 yrs.) and they were all replaced. The work was finished by Tuesday afternoon. So far, the work appears to have been a good job and the engine is running well. Scott ended up reducing the bill to cover my motel & car-rental fees incurred from the previous week. The quality of the work was unfortunately negatively offset by the debacle of the poor scheduling that resulted in wasted days in a motel. I've been bringing my vehicles to Lloyd's for three years now, but after this experience, I am not going back.

After 20 years of working with Lloyd’s, I am leaving this business behind. Perhaps it’s the understaffing crisis, I’m not sure, but when I schedule an appointment it takes the next day or two for them to actually get to repairing my vehicle. There is a lot of hot air in an attempt to placate me, but I’ve seen right through it. They simply aren’t getting to the work and at times I feel they are rushing it when they finally do get around to it. And whatever list I provide of issues, the extra little concerns are generally ignored. Their prices have vastly increased as well. For the amount of money I am paying I would expect my car back same day or at least a phone call. Instead I am the one calling trying to hunt down a reason I don’t have my car back. I have just lost faith completely. When I continue to take it back for problems not fixed on the last visit, I’m just done. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars in the past twenty years, and when the service and quality has declined this much I just have to be done.Services: Transmission

Went for a repair related to my mass air sensor. SES light came back on about 6 miles later. Called, left a message immediately. Didn't get a call back. I pulled the old sensor out, it looked old. Like stock. My trucks an 02. I replaced it and the air filter. Cleaned out the filter box. Bought a code reader. Cleared the code. Just hit 100 miles since my repair.
