Working with Daniel was great. I had an idea of what type of materials I wanted in a table and let him go with his creative/artistic ability, he did not disappoint! I absolutely love my table. My vision of having a larger table for people to gather together came to fruition when Daniel (and his team of strong men!) made the delivery. Even after a year of sitting down for dinner at it each night, and seeing it in my home, I still appreciate the beautiful piece of art that was created. My advice if you work with Daniel is to give him creative freedom, he is excellent at what he does!

After seeing Dan’s work and meeting with him, I could tell he knew what he was doing and would build a great table. Very professional and understanding when it came to discussing tables. (what would work/look good/ aesthetics etc) Within a very reasonable time Dan built an incredible dining table with matching bench seating. I don’t think I could have been more happy with the finished product! Can’t wait to get more furniture built for my house from Howard workshop. I highly recommend to anyone looking for great custom one off furniture.

Daniel is one of the most creative woodworkers I've ever met. I asked him to make me a desk for the new office and he delivered something beyond my expectations and in a timely fashion. It was a popular addition and he was hired to make additional pieces for another couple office suites. The custom tables that he makes are incredible and he also built me a mantel for our fireplace out of concrete and walnut. If you're looking for custom but not your typical wood pieces, this is your guy! It's nice that he's so local and available in Coeur d'Alene. I would highly recommend his services.

Since our house design had a built-in table as the center focal point of the entire house, we knew we had to find just the right craftsman that could marry modern design with warmth and craftsmanship of the Northwest. I searched for months for the right person, and then, of all places, found Howards Woodshop on Instagram. Within hours of reaching out, Daniel was texting sketches and ideas--all while trying to accommodate my budget. The end result is stunning and exactly what we wanted. A piece like this will be the center of our house for decades to come. I already have plans for additional projects with Daniel.

Daniel did such a fantastic job on our new home’s built-in dining table made from a thick slab of walnut and metal legs that we decided to have him do our fireplace mantle and my built in office desk as well. Thank you Daniel!
