Tony at FatBeam went above and beyond to help my commercial property get back online. Our systematic issues ended up being something internal and not related to their facilities, but Tony still went out of his way, conferred with colleges, and even followed up once resolved. As someone in customer service management, I commend his efforts and professionalism.

I just switched office buildings and Ben took the time to explain in every day terms my choices for internet to run my office. I made the switch and I couldn't be happier with the consistent speed.

Offers a premier internet service for people in rural areas. It’s a hard to to do and sometimes impossible task of making sure even rural America has an internet connection.

I run an IT company and avoid Fatbeam if possible. Getting them to recognize problems and address them is often unpleasant. Dealing with the first level techs has been frustrating and I end up having to teach them how certain types of technology works just to get to a higher level tech and hope that at some point the issue will be resolved. I have moved any client using them to other providers.

If you are looking for a company that acts professionally, morally and with integrity, you are looking in the wrong place. Fatbeam caused our family great distress for 14 months after learning they installed their fiber optic line across our private property without permission or an easement. They single handedly delayed our home build, dragging their feet every step of the way.Instead of manning up, admitting they were wrong (or made a mistake), and moving the line off of our private property, they forced our family to obtain an attorney in an attempt to resolve this issue. They cost our children numerous experiences as they refused to cover our costs, even knowing they were in the wrong. They delayed pretty much every communication (30-45 days for a response), stalling our home build project unless we agreed to terms that pretty much only benefitted their company. They will facilitate phone calls with their subcontractors on the line in a coordinated effort to intimidate you and verbally threaten you. After informing Fatbeam (and Fatbeam acknowledging) that their one subcontractor was not allowed on our property due to the threats, Fatbeam sent that one trespassed company out to our property under the disguise of another company (they verbally told neighbors and wore shirts of another company) to trench across our property and public lands (without a permit). They refused to leave our property until we showed up, ultimately leaving a 3 foot wide, 4 foot trench across our property, but not before intentionally attempting to run me over on their excavator. Under the previous agreement, the line was supposed to be removed without disturbing the ground by pulling it out through the conduit.COO Jason Koenders story changed at least three times that day in an attempt to cover up their scheme. Even their CEO Paul Merritt was advised of what was happening and did nothing. All that we asked from the beginning was that they simply move their line. They refused to move it unless our family agreed to their terms, holding up our home build project for 14 months. There are two videos on youtube under “Fatbeam Fiber Review”. They include recorded phone conversations, email communications and videos of this entire ordeal.

FATBEAM placed a fiber optic line across private property and now refuses to move it unless our family agrees to their terms. FATBEAM is dragging their feet and has delayed our families home build. These delays have cost our family thousands of dollars along with Attorney's fees as we had to seek legal counsel to attempt to resolve this issue. Our review is in a two part YOUTUBE video containing multiple phone calls, emails, photographs, and videos. These videos exemplify the way FATBEAM does business and how they treat the public. Part 1: Part 2: FATBEAM has known since early February 2021 that its fiberoptic line was on our private property, not in an easement, right of way, or on county property. We initially attempted to work with their local project manager, Jessica Woods, who is the woman in the calls. The contractors are HMW Construction owners, Hank Voss and Joe Ward. The 35-minute call is filled with intimidation tactics along with HMW owner Joe Ward threatening us towards the end of the call. Due to the threats, we informed FATBEAM that HMW was not allowed on our property. FATBEAM confirmed that they informed HMW not to enter onto our property. FATBEAM initially informed us that they would move the line by abandoning the conduit in the ground and that the ground would not be destroyed. This is talked about towards the end of this video in the resolution call. Part 2: This is in follow-up to our previous video. It is lengthy but worth the time. FATBEAM has been documented multiple times agreeing that HMW is not allowed on our property. While HMW was at our property one of their owners attempted to run me over with their excavator shown in the clip at the beginning. FATBEAMS COO, Jason Koenders goes as far as claiming that HMW is not doing the work on our property and that they were only utilizing HMW trucks. Ultimately, we reached out to legal counsel and FATBEAM continues to drag their feet. Each time a correspondence is sent to FATBEAM, it takes them up to 30 days to respond. At this rate, almost one calendar year, even after spending thousands of dollars on attorneys fees, survey's, and FATBEAM admitting they are in the wrong, FATBEAM has yet to attempt to move their line or even apply for a new Right of Way permit to complete the work. *These calls were initially removed off of Youtube at the request of FATBEAM's COO, Jason Koenders with the agreement that they would be removing their line from our property, not destroying the ground, and not utilizing HMW to complete the work. After this agreement we encountered both Hank and Joe from HMW on our private property digging wide exposed trenches in attempts to relocate their line.
