I have shopped at Costco for years. While I was frustrated with their mask mandates they were just playing it safe. One policy I find irritating is the line to get out of Costco. Today there were 20 people per line, backed up to the food court, I had one item. I waited until I noticed the woman marking receipts was chatting with a friend while people waited. I walked past the carts, flashed my receipt and attempted to leave. The same woman who was chat, sorry, I mean checking receipts grabbed my receipt and then started scolding me for not standing in line. I spoke with her manager at her insistence. He informed me that it is Costco policy to mark all receipts because people are thieves and make duplicate receipts. Okay, I’m not sure how this helps and despite his implication, I am not a thief (and would not have thought of that) but we as customers should not have to stand there wasting our time while the gate gal chats because of some “policy” that makes little sense. I should not have to wait for permission to leave their facility. Costco is the only store I can think of that does this to their customers. Our time is valuable and this corporation needs to value that time.
Additionally, having shopped at Costco for years I have seen a marked change in customer service since the beginning of this insanity. It has deteriorated substantially. Numerous employees standing around chatting while lines are backed up, managers who can’t seem to get the right people, in the right places, at the right time and won’t jump in to help when busy and treat the customers and their employees like peasants, although their employees are VERY well paid.
I won’t say I won’t shop there again, because that isn’t realistic. Their prices are hard to beat, fuel is cheaper than anywhere else (very pleased they put in diesel pumps) and the store is clean and well organized. I can usually find what I want rather quickly. But the experience would be much better if the personal were as organized as the store is and the employees and the corporation valued their customers. Our willingness to spend our hard earned money keeps them employed.
And they eliminated their may I have “permission to leave gates”.

Be careful what you buy at the cda Costco. Bought this corn on Sunday May 30th. As you can see it is clearly full of mold.

I’ve been here twice to pick up a photo. It’s either not ready or they make me jump through endless hoops. Very inefficient. Very poor customer service. Go anywhere else.

Feels like the staff literally despises their jobs and their customers. Always feel like I’m intruding when I come in. Maybe they are all hungry since Costco stopped sampling.

I grew up loving to shop at Costco! They have great food, eye wear, greeting cards, household miscellaneous and the like! Their facilities are always clean and though I don’t like it I respect their ability as a club to require masks. But I no longer recommend this store because the Costco board of directors has decided that people like me with medical exemptions are no longer welcome to shop in their stores. When I arrived at the store I told the front door greeter I am medi

As someone who has complied with face masks it is unacceptable that the lady that is there every Saturday felt the need to be immediately confrontational with me because my 6 year didn’t have his mask up around his face yet. Mind you we hadn’t even made it all the way through the doors yet.

Used to be a nice place until they put a bunch of Karens at the door policing face mask. Even the cashiers are acting rude. Lost my business for treating people unfairly and rude. Never will I give my money to this company. Sad to see companies treat people like this.

Okay so I never or rarely leave a review for anything. Here it goes, Costco is doing a great Job at everything, the staff is great and I have never had any issues with anything at Costco. To this day I still have never had any issues. But here comes some bad and I know that I will get some slack for it. But being that I pay for my membership for Costco I have every right to go into the store and buy what I need when I need it, now I find it kind of d*** that they are going t

I have had WONDERFUL experiences with the CDA Costco over the last few weeks with everything currently going on. Not only have their employees been extremely helpful and kind over the phone but they have been fantastic in person. I can only imagine how long their days are but they really are making the struggles we’re all experiencing so much more pleasant. I have noticed that this seems to be their standard all the time but it has been especially appreciated during all of this craziness.

I've had very bad luck with prints here. I do photography and graphic design on the side and I always get dark prints from here. I feel like they add processing to my images before they print them. Staff however, is fantastic!
