I am rather disappointed. I called to schedule my move with Coeur d'Alene Moving as I had previously. I LOVED everything about my move and the guys who did it so was hoping for a repeat with my new move. Guys from Alliance showed up and said they are part of CDA Moving. Paul was very friendly, efficient, and helpful and so I was hopeful. However, when all was said and done, pretty much every piece of wood furniture I have was damaged. They broke one of my bookshelves and were planning to leave it that way until I said something. They broke a yard decoration I had and put it somewhere I would not see until after they left. They left marks on my walls, knocked pictures off the wall and hit the ceiling every time they came up the stairs. I also was made to feel like it was an inconvenience on more than one occasion during the move. I hired a moving company to make my life easier and paid good money for it, so it is disappointing to walk away with such a negative feeling. I called the company to let them know my experience and talk to someone very nice. She said she would call me back, but never did.

Coeur d’Alene Moving helped me with a local move in CDA. They did a fantastic job and have since moved my Mom and multiple friends. Everyone has been very happy with their service. Highly recommend!

These movers were professional and very communicative, until after the moving day. After they left, I discovered a 2 foot gouge across the front of my new fridge, and several holes on a cabinet, and my hot tub was so severely jostled/slammed that all the interior front trusses broke off inside the hot tub. The team conveniently left the fridge pulled up to a cabinet so I wouldn't see the gouge until pushing it back into place (after they left), left the cabinet on-end with the holes on the ground which I didn't see until I flipped it to the correct orientation, and dinged up my stairwell and doorframes. At the end of the moving day, the supervisor says, "Oh sorry I didn't have you sign before or do a pre-inspection. Can you do me a favor and sign here?" and had me choose the lowest damage protection basically signing away my items for penny on the dollar of its worth - because he KNEW he had already caused thousands in damage! After following up with the company, they said they would send information on the insurance process, but they ghosted me until I initially left a 1-star review; then magically reached out. I gave them the benefit of the doubt to go through the insurance process - which they have not shared ANY documentation that there actually is an insurance process, I have to take their word for it - and they want to give me $200 for damaging my $3000 fridge and for the over $600 paid to the hot tub repairman so far for damaged electronics. When I said this was not an acceptable solution and to please work with me, they yet again ghosted me. I have sent numerous messages over several weeks, all completely ignored. Now they haven't even paid me the measly $200 they said the insurance company would pay out, and won't even communicate about this process. This is a dishonest company that does not back up its professional reputation at all - AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! I paid $1500 for them to move my stuff, and they have caused well over that in damages. Now I get to waste an enormous amount of my time pursuing in small claims court, since they won't honor me with any response.

So grateful that this company does inter-house moves! I ordered a 350 lb treadmill and with covid there was no white-glove delivery option to purchase; the delivery people left it on the porch. There was no way that I was going to be able to help husband get it downstairs. I called CDA Movers and they were able to fit me into their tight schedule. The guys were here for a little over 30 mins and it took quite a bit of work to get it downstairs and through the doorway. They had to take it out of the box at the bottom of the stairs because the box wouldn't fit through the doorway. Glad we have this good, honest company in available in our community!

CDA Movers were late for agreed upon time. They went to the drop off location first, which was a hour away. I called the office to determine what the issue was and they did not seem concerned and were not able to communicate with the drivers, however the truck did finally arrive and pick up our 2 over sized items several hours later. They delivered the items to the agreed upon destination. They ended up charging us way over the quoted price. Upon calling the office the next day to discuss the over charge I was basically blown off and told it was based on clock in/clock out times. They were to get back to me on the over charge and that never occurred. Very unprofessional and no regard for decent customer service. I would NOT recommend this moving company to anyone!Services: Oversized-item moving

After 22 years of military service, we have moved a lot, and this was one of the BEST moving companies we’ve ever worked with. Thank you for working with changing schedules, late into the evening and hectic landscaping.

These guys are the real deal. As a real estate professional, my clients often ask us who can get an in-area move done efficiently and with care. And without hesitation - I tell them Coeur d'Alene Moving. These guys know hustle and get the job done. It's awesome to have these guys on call whenever the Our Town CDA team needs them! Thanks guys!
