The prices are unbelievable. I went in to check out the recent change. I'm sad to say this is a haphazard thrift store priced like a boutique that doesn't receive its goods for free. It appears to be a play on the increase in need in the community. I used to be able to find a few good items I could help provide a small side income for me and my daughter. There's no fun here to be had for someone looking for a good price on someone's donated old items. I used to donate here, but after seeing them charge the regular customer $50 for the picture I gave them for free, I will be more responsible in which thrift store I give my donations to so they can make an honest income and contribution to the less fortunate.

We REGULARLY SHOP HERE AND I was there today and they screwed up their prices !!! They were asking $499 for a freaking used couch that should’ve been like $50-100 dollars. Like I said we normally shop there 2 to 3 times a month so when I went in there this time I could tell that they had jacked up their prices beyond recognition.!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!’ Or sucker BEWARE!!!!$250 for a used sewing machine. Out they dam minds!!!They say they are helping the community and donating their net proceeds to the wishing star foundation or whatever, but there ain’t gonna be no net proceeds when they lose all their customers because they’ve jacked up the prices so high that people ain’t gonna buy nothing !!! we found a couch next-door a big lots for 299 that was brand new and way better than the couch they were trying to sell for 400!!!

I love this thrift store but over the past few months, it's gotten really expensive. For instance, I went in there before Christmas and saw a Santa Claus that was in okay shape, but it had a price tag of $20, I couldn't see spending that kind of money on it. The next day I was at Big Lots next door and found a beautiful, new Santa for $22. I just don't understand why they're charging almost retail for used stuff. They get things donated for free, and to charge these kinds of prices is just over the top. I don't know who prices the stuff, but I would think they would sell more stuff if it was priced better. Just my two cents.

I love this store! They always have great prices in the first place, but then they even have 50% off a different color tag each week. Their prices beat Goodwill and Youth Ranch- hands down!! The lady who owns it seems to be a really good person. Go check it out!

This is my favorite thrift shop because of the amount of clothes, shoes, prom dresses, purses and so much more!!! It’s very very clean and organized! The staff were super kinda and friendly and patient! I also love how you can get discounts for veterans, seniors, and students!even homeschool students! I would definitely recommend going here for super cute things like American eagle and wild fable!they have lots of that brand. I went here with my friend one time but she didn’t get anything because she’s super petite and picky LOL. 9.9/10 would recommend! ???????✨

I’ve been thrifting in Cda since as long as I can remember, so I am taking into account for inflation and the uprise in second hand shopping. This place is slowly losing touch with the entire purpose of why people shop for used goods. “To save money!!” Lately the prices are so out of touch, it’s like they have a teenager with no clue what things are worth pricing their customer base away. I did mention this to one of the girls with colored hair and she shrugged me off. I just think it’s really sad that there are so many thrift stores popping up that are pricing stuff like we live in Spokane or something it’s becoming too big of a business for the people who really actually use thrift stores to save money. I definitely will not come back here. I would rather give my money to a church or outreach type thrift that actually helps people. This is my honest review for the owner to hopefully hear from his customers viewpoint.

Good selection lots of items however most are overpriced. Saw four different items with new price tags on them and their price tags were more than what it was new.

Excellent selection of items, but please be extremely careful and cautious if you're getting beads for your kids to make jewelry. (or even yourself)I got a few bags of beads for jewelry and only one of them DIDN'T have small shards of glass in it. I spent quite a long time sitting there picking them out of my hand, stomach, and legs and trying not to cry.I'd have given this place 5/5 stars otherwise because of the variety of items.(Yes I know people may not usually go to thrift stores for beads but It's important that the workers realize kids could've gotten ahold of this before me and it could've been a lot worse than it was)Please make sure workers are taking precautions when bagging beads up so this doesn’t happen again:(

I love City Thrift a lot and shop there regularly, but lately the prices have been pretty high for used and donated items. I looked at a few shirts the last time I was there, all selling for $8+ and a pair of home-dyed jeans were $12. I'll still shop there but I'm going to cut back--if I wanted to spend that kind of money I'd buy new at Ross or Walmart. They do have some fun and unique items, but they're only as good as the prices.

This used to be my favorite thrift store. But they must’ve changed owners/management cause it’s severely overpriced now. Might as well be Union Gospel Mission.

Cool place and for the most part decent prices. Seen a few things that were more than they should have been. But I would say 80% was good prices. Clean and organized also. Nice employees that I dealt with. I live about 5 hrs. From here but will for sure come back next time I'm coming through the area.

I used to love this place, great prices for a thrift store. This last time in I was extremely surprised how expensive a lot of the things that were already in there beforehand and learn they got new owners who’ve been repricing everything. Things that were $10 or less are now up to $20, $40, $60, $80+. ? This is still North Idaho and it’s a THRIFT STORE, sad and disappointing.
