From my experience, Chase normally provides adequate or average customer service. However, Teresa at this Chase branch location goes above and beyond to make a pleasant experience. Teresa was extremely knowledgable, helpful, and polite when helping us at this Chase branch. Thank you!

Recently my wife and I decided that changing our bank accounts to a local bank was long overdue. Our previous respective banks were both large, well-known, multinational banks that have absolutely no presence in the northwest part of the United States.After a bit of research we settled on the Chase branch on W. Neider Avenue in Coeur d'Alene. I believed that this choice would give us the security of a huge, established bank, with the convenience of a local branch.I set up my accounts at the branch, but then we decided to revisit the branch to set up an account for my wife. She had several questions that we couldn't resolve online. I also had questions regarding my own accounts.As luck would have it we were assigned to Teresa de Benavides, a Chase Private Client Banker at that branch.Teresa was immediately extremely helpful: She resolved all of my issues within minutes. She then took the time to evaluate my wife's needs with regard to the best type of account for her and advised her accordingly. Everything was taken care of very quickly.Our previous experience with banks had always been very impersonal and generally limited to navigating a complex phone system and subsequently speaking to someone with limited knowledge and little regard for our personal needs.Teresa is an asset to Chase and to that branch. She took the time to thoroughly explain our options and clearly demonstrated a pleasant yet professional personal touch.I would recommend Teresa de Benavides highly.

Chase bank STOLE FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS from us because I got scammed by who I THOUGHT was PayPal... number 1: the 5000$$$$ was OUR MONEY IN OUR SAVINGS... NOT CHASE's!!! We cancelled anything to do with Chase and went to a different bank. What a NIGHTMARE!!! How can the bank take OUR SAVINGS????TRYING TO RECOUP but it's taking a while as we're retired on a fixed income

Made the mistake of signing up for an Amazon credit card through chase, intrest rates are insane they mailed my statements and several cards to the wrong address, reported not paid when paid and everytime I call customer service I get someone who's first language clearly isn't English, it's like talking to a brick wall. If the banking services are anything like their card services I don't understand how they're still open.

I went there with my sister to set up her high school checking account and Teresa Benavides was the biggest help through the whole process. She explained everything very clearly and made it easy to understand. She also helped me get approved for my first credit card and gave me tips on the best way to use it so I can start building up good credit.

Please stay away from Chase banks. Opening an account with this bank has been such a headache. I opened it up with a "promo" a few months ago, only to have my account flagged then completely closed. They mailed me 2 separate checks for the amount that was in it (minus 2 checks that caused my account to be flagged), and neither envelope was even sealed or closed at all and could've easily been mishandled or lost. Fast forward 1 month of phone tag and calls: Chase will not return/cancel/refund the checks to the sender or their banks, but will hold those 2 checks themselves "indefinitely" until they speak to the issuer of both of those checks, while I am also on the phone. They also can't call themselves, Chase has to call them.. None of this has been straightforward, and I get a new roadblock every phone call. This is a ridiculous system and I am so glad I still have my trusty credit union still.Update: they can’t “verify” the number that I provided (even though the writers have had that number for decades) so now they have to walk into a Chase branch to just say they wrote the check. I feel bad having to involve so many more people into this process, and I am incredibly disappointed that there is no other way to verify checks. Chase's "system" to verify numbers has clearly not been updated in years either.PS Go with a credit union, always!

I opened my first US bank account on this branch. The ladies are super nice and offered me a lot of new perks for opening a new account. Teresa has been very generous with her time explaining how things work. They’re open on weekends and that’s a big plus. I’m glad I choose this branch for my banking needs.

I’ve been a personal chase customer for several years now and have always had a great experience with my accounts and at the banks. I was being helped with setting up my business account by a private client banker Teresa and she is an absolute angel. So sweet, so helpful, and super knowledgable, I highly recommend her. The branch is in a great location, it is bright, clean, and modern inside despite the layout being a bit cramped and poorly arranged IMO. The rest of the staff has always been a pleasure as well. I can’t believe people would be so petty to leave 1 star just because the phone isn’t being answered. There are staffing shortages nationwide everywhere, and if you have a banking question you need to go in person or call customer service, duh. Thank you so much Teresa!!

We are new to CDA area and were hesitant about establishing a banking relationship. I’m so glad we visited Chase on Neider. Much to our surprise we were introduced to Teresa Benavides. Went in to get a notary. One staff member "sam" was extremely rude and to say the least unhelpful. Was told, "we don't want you banking here anyway." Closing my account. The one branch they have isn't worth the trouble the staff put you through.
