Wonderful experience. Staff was great. Room with the hot tub was great. And of coarse the view was great. Very well kept grounds. Will be back.

Horrible.
I can look past having to keep my window open bc the hot tub is draining.
I can look past the broken shower/tub/door/AC.
However the hot tub overflowing because it's not draining properly pissing the snakes off that live underneath it is a big nope. Then not even getting an apology for it. Absolutely insane. You're better off paying double somewhere else.
I've stayed here 4 times, the first two weren't bad but they obviously put me in their 'good rooms'
The snakes scurried off by the time I grabbed my camera but you can tell by the hole under the hot tub that it would be an ideal spot.
Walkability: There's a great short hike with lots of views of the lake close by & more

As a previous employee I would not recommend staying here, it is definitely a hazard, especially on the electrical side of the motel! Owner has something going on in his she shed that definitely makes him a different person when he comes out, owners wife is a recovering addict which is great, however when your taking handfuls of kratom to get the same feel as other drugs your not recovered your substituting!! The Idaho state inspector has been sent all pictures of defects in electrical and structural, and human rights commission for Idaho has been contacted with text messages from owner belittling the blindness in my eye, which constitutes discrimination on disability! Most of the residents who visit are regulars from owners wife drug past! This motel is an infestation to the beautiful community in which it sits..

Business owners use their children to engage in harassment 3/30/24, my wife and son on a walk and the kids pull up yelling names and flipping off!! Great behavior and profesnalism from a local business!

I must have had a severe impact on Jerrid Radford, he still to this day Texts some off the wall weird stuff almost every day!! It seems his wife is the only one that has any sense because she has let go!! This guy is really on something!!!

Noteworthy details: Rooms are very dangerous, there are electrical shorts, when I worked there, I found heaters that were rated 240 that had regular house current running to them

I have taken some time to let my anger subside with how our booking for the 4th of July went. We booked mid May. The day before our check in on the 3rd we received a call in the morning telling us the power in half of the building went out and we had been selected as 1 of the bookings that would be canceled. BUT they had six others that they still had to confirm were comming. If one of these didn't confirm we got the spot. They would give them 1 hour to return the calls/text that they sent out to these bookings. This was at around 11 a.m. WE called THEM over the next FOUR hours finding out if everyone had confirmed. No one canceled. So we were stuck at home for the 4th. Good luck finding a new location the day before the 4th in our resort town and the surrounding areas. We were offered what I felt was a half hearted "I'm so sorry". If this was my business I would have offered some sort of offer for the future to make up for the situation. And the claim they would only wait an hour for response from the other six bookings.

Rooms: The room was disappointing. Along with privacy issues, the toilet seat was broken and needed additional cleaning, several lights didn’t work, there are no outlets in the bathroom and other outlets don’t hold plugs securely so charging or using electric devices is difficult. The furnishings are extremely dated and the cleanliness of soft surfaces is questionable at best. The shower head was caked with calcium so water sprayed over the shower curtain onto the floor creating a slipping hazard.
Nearby activities: Amenities are relatively close by car, about 15-30 minutes away depending on what you’re looking for. The city, itself, is very quaint and interesting. There are many very good restaurants and unique businesses as well as public access to the lake with equipment rentals and activities.
Safety: Our deck overlooking the lake was not private, so strangers sharing the deck could and did look into the large windows in the sitting area as well as the window into our bedroom. It’s difficult to enjoy the view when you feel it’s necessary to keep the curtains closed for privacy and security.
Walkability: Walkability is limited. The property is about 15-20 minutes away from local amenities by car.
Noteworthy details: The office staff was friendly, but that’s the only positive. The pool has a limited (if any) filtration system. There was no housekeeping service throughout our stay so the one garbage bin in the room was overflowing, and we ran out of clean towels on day 3 of a 5 day stay. I discovered that the pool towels may not have been replaced/cleaned recently when I dried off and found several strands of someone else’s hair on my legs and arms.

Well don't ever ever make reservations for a important night or family event here. We called 3 weeks ahead. We made reservations to stay in the garden room for the 4TH OF JULY. They said we could just pay when we get there. They took are information. We had family driving over from kellog planning on watching the fire works from are room. Then we called ahead to let them know we were running a little late on check in time but on are way. Then they said oh we don't even have your reservations wrote down. When I was standing right next to my girlfriend when she called. All they could offer was a 20% discount. Honestly the whole exspencice is INEXCUSABLE! people make reservations for a reason and it's not like this was a normal weekend it was are plans and family's plans for the 4th of July. Now it's to late to do anything els and everywhere else is booked! That's why we called 3 weeks ahead and made reservations. Honestly crazy to think someone would take are call say they had a room available then not put it in the system like what!??!?!

With the understanding that this hotel is one of the first hotels in cda, it has VERY old bones, I love that the new owners are updating the room one by one! Although I love the rustic feel of it all and like I’m in my very own cabin I am excited to see the room updates. The newest updated room is the ocean room, the next one to be finished is the garden room! I 10/10 recommend this hotel. It’s perfect for a couples getaway and family vacation. The pool is huge and very nice in the summer, with a little grassy play area for the kiddos or pups, there is so much to do nearby also.
In response to the previous bad reviews, insects and cobwebs are to be expected in a rustic old building, my many many stays there including staying in the weekly’s for a few months, the owners have been nothing but kind, professional and accommodating. They empty and clean the hot tubs after every single check out to ensure cleanliness.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THE OWNERS ARE DRUG ADDICTS AND THEY ARE ALWAYS FIGHTING WITH GUESTS. NOT TO MENTION THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO MANAGE A HOTEL. CALL THE POLICE IF YOU DONT WANT CRAZY PEOPLE NEAR YOU.

Display is awful. My wife is a CNA at the hospital and she works overnight and there was not so much of a gentleman tearing up the room next-door when she politely asked him if he could like do other work somewhere else so she could get literally three hours of sleep or rest, complained and screaming and trashed the place next-door as the walls are paper thin I was not there me her husband came back. She was afraid for her life then she went to work and I came here and I was making simple conversation with the same, not so gentleman and he verbally attacked me he pushed my chest and would not let me in my own room , I was afraid all night for our valuables and my vehicle. What an awful experience it could’ve been worse. This place is a shanty and it’s just terrible. Do not stay here.

While customer service was decent the room was less then desirable. Door knob was very hard to turn, paint peeling on the interior of the doors, bath faucet dripped all night, toliet ran, exterior vent had the louvers broken. Parking sucks. Hot tub was nice but would never recommend this place. Appears very runned down. Their "theme rooms" is pictures on the walls.
