“The store itself was nice. Lots of great and interesting items.
Expect for a couple of patrons who talked down to my 6 yr old nephew.. Mouthing off to him. Damn lucky I didn't hear it.”
“My husband and I visited Midtown Home & Vintage Market this morning in CDA and absolutely loved it. This antique mall offers a huge variety of items to peruse, with most prices being quite reasonable. Each booth is beautifully curated and well-organized, making it easy to see everything. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore a treasure trove of vintage finds and handmade items!”
“I met David at the ANA show in Chicago and found him to be very fair in his pricing. I would definitely seek him out at shows.
He's also a very nice guy to boot!”
“Staff here were friendly, would chat and be helpful picking out pieces and assisting you shop. Lots of good sales periodically through the store, and owner is in there a lot and helps with pricing. I bought 2 star garnets, and they helped with a flashlight to look at color, they told me about the garnets, one was 25% off and one was a piece from the 1950s and was transparent so being old and rare was not on sale but the sales lady asked the owner and they agreed to give me 10% discount which is nice! And then I got a Helenite which was beautiful and also on sale! The lady who helped me was from that region and told me stories about having been through it blowing up. The lady who helped me, a redheaded lady, was the lady who helped me the entire time, she was super nice, patient, and helpful. Good experience overall!”
“I always enjoy spending time at the looking glass! So many unique items and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. The owner Heather is personable and has great taste.”
“Holy moly this place has enough plates and glassware to outfit our home and a Cole airbnbs. So much men’s clothing too. Oddly we discovered classic albums. Buck Knives. Ice picks and ice axes. Sammie the owner was helpful. Helped us out quickly.”
“The place is absolutely jammed packed with items, from expensive to very inexpensive. One of the few antique stores, other than high end, that I have been in anywhere in the US that carries no junk, regardless of price. They clearly have more stock than space, and everything on display has a market of customers with taste. This is a huge accomplishment. If the staff is, as others claim, profiling customers’ wallets by the way they look, that’s a huge mistake; any sensible collectibles dealer knows better despite some bullshitters.”
“Words can't describe how amazing this place is. It is not just a gallery, but also a collection of one of a kind collectibles. Prices were pretty reasonable considering their one and f a kind.”
