Matt in electrical said I don't get paid to give advice? When we needed help with electrical wire. He did spout he was an electrician for 22 years. What does he get paid for. The other gentleman in electrical was very nice sorry I didn't get his name. Looks like customer service at this location is bad, according to the other reviews ... we concur.

Home Depot, I've really not got a lot to complain about on your end yet you partner with Romanoff and they are horrible. At the end of the day Home Depot you are Redon do me for your sub i tractors. Here is my review of them and because you see to have no power over them I can't ever recommend anyone buy carpet from you again. Romanoff Review: They were lazy, completely unprofessional. They were hired via Home Depot contract to move up to 5 furniture items per room. The contract literally says so and when they arrived they not only refused to move the small amount of furniture left in each room they walked off the job without talking to anyone. Was left to call Home Depot and beg for service. Entire home was torn apart as everything stacked in kitchen so they could install carpet and they simply left, ZERO CONTACT. Then when pushed they lied saying the homeowners was going to have someone come move the furniture l, they lied about the type of furniture in the house (I do not own an electric bed). It was so horribly unprofessional. After waiting for weeks, already paid for the carpet. I can't believe Home Depot uses them. The lack of ethics was astounding. If I could give negative stars I would, do not use them if you love in Southeast Idaho, but from someone other than Home Depot. I hate to bash Home Depot because it's not their fault. They are locked into a National contract. I just don't have words for how poor of service they provided. There solution is they will now come back in days and the homeowner has to hire people to move the furniture the contract says they will move. We aren't talking 1000lbs pieces of furniture either just small night stands, beds that are already disassembled, light couches. If my parents weren't senior citizens I'm sure they could of done it themselves. To leave a 70 year old woman in a house that torn apart, refuse to help even though it's your job and the let her love in that till you decide you will come back. Shame on you.

I purchased a dryer and it arrived in the store in 2 weeks but it took another 2 1/2 weeks to get it delivered and it was destroyed. Now I am waiting another 5 weeks to get a replacement. I should have learned but we ordered a refrigerator and the called today after 3 weeks. The first deliver appointment they had was another 3 weeks away. I sure hope it isn't damaged too.

This location is a solid average. We just moved here a few months ago and have had plenty of visits to this location to give a solid review. There's only been one time that we had a not so great experience...around Christmas time...the two guys in garden were either unhelpful or rude. One was an older guy who refused to climb a ladder to get something down...and his dept head made darn certain that he wasn't going to sell us a chainsaw that we had just missed the sale price on. It was on sale for $99 one day and when we went back the next day it was no longer on sale...it was back to either $120 or $129....and the garden dept guy said,"before I climb all the way up the ladder to get it down...I just want you to know it's no longer the sale price...do you still want it?!" I was super floored...of course we said yes and of course we knew we would seek management at check out. Went to check out, found the store manager, and he honored the sale price no problem. Shout out to him as he was super nice. Having once worked for the company...I knew our request was not unreasonable...employees are empowered to make customers happy...especially in a situation like ours where we missed the sale by one day. That's why the empowerment is there...for some reason there are people that love to say no...but if it's within your scope to bring someone back by providing excellent customer service...then do it. Lowe's is right down the way...there's plenty of options...but I am still loyal to HD and will be until their service or lack there of forces me go elsewhere. That's been our only not so great experience. Every other time...has ranged from good to average. The paint dept and the hardware dept have been the best experiences in our history. Lumber would be next...we have had our share of wood cut...and always with a smile...followed by flooring...with getting blinds trimmed...and not even registering an ounce of good on the scale is garden. But Garden will have a chance at redemption when I start my veggie garden soon...if that happens then all is good...if still inferior service there...then I may check out Lowe's for all of those needs.

Customer service is always a hit or miss at Home Depot. I should really stop shopping there but it's the closest to home and I do enjoy their products. I went in to get a return on a few items today and the gal working at the customer service was an absolute nightmare. We've spent so much money at Home Depot and to be treated the way we are at times is disappointing. If Home Depot could get employees that are happy to be employed and enjoy working with people(which is literally their job), they'd be so much better to shop with. Online shopping is ideal with this business!

I was looking for a part for a light bulb. Looked online and said they had 9 in stock of the part I needed. When I arrived at this location, everyone ignored me in the isle and when I finally found someone he told me absolutely no way we have those. Asked him to check his stock then and she said NO I don't have those. I once again said something about it saying they had 9 in stock. He then said I don't carry those and walked away. What a joke! I usually shop here due to lactation but I'm doing my shopping at Lowe's from now on!

The staff at this particulate location on multiple,l occasions has harassed me, including making fun of my sexuality, asking me questions and I quote. "So did you F*** your cat yet today?" (When using a calculator for measurements)"is that how many kids you have slept with?" Also the old man in the electrical department refused to get stuff off of the self saying "not my job" and the same man physically blocked and intimidated me, for bing on the wrong side of the aisle, and not having electrical stuff. The management not only did nothing about it, but blamed me, and refused to talked to the dozens of people that saw these things happen. The corporate aware line, also refused to do anything as when I called back they said it was handled, the staff still works there and I never got any form of apology. If you are a woman, have children, or are part of the lgbtq this is not a safe place to shop.

Kudos to the chubbuck home depot for making things right after selling me the wrong product. One of the managers , Janelle was awesome to work with. She listened to my problem, identified how they could educate their staff better, made product recommendations etc. Thank you for helping resolve a very frustrating problem. I walked away, still a happy customer who will continue to shop at home depot.

The people at this place are completely ignorant and are not well-trained. They have provided me with poor customer service and that is when I can actually contact someone. Every time I have gone in there I realized it is best to know exactly what I am buying otherwise if I have any questions they need to be answered before entering the store as the people there either ignore me when I walk in and do not approach and ask me if I need help or when I ask for help they don't know the answer or provide me with the incorrect information. In addition I recently purchased a house and a fence was put up by agreement. The fence is already warping just after a month with the pickets warping bending and shedding and the studs of the gates have cracks down the middle. I have contacted Home Depot and have spoken with three different people who have all told me that because they have no ties directly with me they will not replace the pickets or the studs. Instead I am stuck waiting for the guy I bought the house from to contact me to see what he will do to help me with this fence situation since he is the one with the ties to Home Depot. Home Depot is not taking responsibility for their warping offense material and I am stuck with a poor quality fence and terrible customer service. I will never shop at Home Depot again!

Ordered a garage door from them and couldn't be more irate. After being misled on multiple occasions about the delivery date, finding out ONLY through my own efforts that they were including the lowest grade springs (but were happy to charge me more for modern ones), getting a voicemail three days before the original date of the already extensive delivery time to tell me they were adding three weeks on and including "that's normal for this time of year" (if it's "normal" why didn't you tell me when I ordered a MONTH ago??), I contacted their order processing department. Because I had timed several things around the delivery of this door (including changing jobs) and intended to install it myself (while the weather was still good) I asked them to help me out with installation (which would now be in mid to late December after TWO months of their delays). Their response? First I was told how the "normal" three weeks of extra delay that got casually added on was due to (unspecified) "natural disasters". Just "normal" unexpected, unspecified, happens every year, unpredictable "natural disasters". I tried to point out how one or the other was a lie but logic was a lost cause. The options I was given then were: "We can cancel it and you'll have no working garage for even longer." "We'd have to do a site inspection and check all the measurements (OF THE SUPER COMPLICATED RECTANGULAR DOOR) and it'd be another month or more for install. Also we'd have to charge you about $500." (note, they're already slamming me for almost $1600 on the door alone) or "We'll give you $100 (or around $4.50/day of the most recent delay) to just shut up and get the door when it's convenient for us. Hey, we're Home Depot; we got enough customers. You don't like it? Take the refund and go to Lowes." (the spring "upgrade" cost more than half of that and the delivery fee alone was over $100 but the slap in the face is free apparently) I'm sure in-person shopping is exactly what you would expect at any Home Depot. But, if I had the option of ordering from Megan and Kelly and the rest of the Pocatello Home Depot garage door department again or eating a bag of hot ratchets.... bring me some ketchup. A negative experience in every possible way.

Employees are always helpful and courteous. We especially enjoyed the kids workshops at the beginning of each month where tools and supplies are provided at no cost! Not sure if it's a local thing or national thing but its a great opportunity to spend time with our children crafting.
