Over 20 years of banking with US Bank. I should be able to walk in a bank and in a proper time manner be assisted. I stood in line for 30 minutes with only two customers in the whole building (me included). Non of the workers asked to help nor did they even make eye contact. Don’t bother going into this branch if you need help. I decided to call the 800 US Bank customer service number while waiting in line, to see if I can get faster help. I was able to talk to someone in 30 seconds. Booked an appointment with a higher ranked branch in my area for better service. I hope the best for this branch but you will never find me in there again.

Long line inside the bank - one teller on duty. The day and night teller was out of service and I was not able to access my account for a withdraw. This is a manager who doesn't give a damn about customers. Awful customer service.

About 4 to 6 weeks ago I submitted my check reorder slip from my checkbook to the teller at the drive-through window. Since then I have completely run out of checks. So I called the branch today to check on my order. The customer service rep's computer was down so she passed me on to somebody else. I explained the situation, gave her my account number and she looked up my account. Their records showed that my last order was over 2 years ago. !!!! I asked her what she thought happened to my reorder slip. She said that if the teller was very busy, she probably forgot and shredded it. No sympathy or apology was given for my inconvenience. Since I needed the checks ASAP I ordered them right then and there with the representative. They were not free, and I would have to wait about 2 weeks for them to arrive, unless I wanted to pay about $30 for quick shipping. I asked if the bank would be paying for that? No. I feel that is the least the bank could have done since it was their mistake. Another option, she said, was to call the check company myself and see if they would do something for me. I thought to myself, "isn't that your job? Your job to go to bat for your customers, especially when the mistake was yours to begin with?" Perhaps if my balance was significant I would have received better treatment? At least an apology for being so inconvenienced? I guess 20 years of patronage doesn't matter. So, another black mark for US Bank Caldwell branch in my book. Credit Union here I come.

I have banked with US Bank Caldwell Id. branch for 23+ years, I had a shared account so that my son could have a bank account when he was under age. He over drew his account and a year later US Bank took the funds out of my account and closed his. I have since stopped banking with US Bank forever!!!
