“I searched everywhere for a doll restoration professional to paint my 1928 Doll's legs. What caught my eye about Antique Child Doll Restoration was the professionalism of the website. It was fully detailed and was loaded with detailed information. After contacting the owner, Janie Nafsinger, with photo's of my doll's legs and the work that I was seeking, she sent me a detailed bid on the work that was involved. I thought it would be a simple paint job, but I was to learn that there was more involved, such as restoring his legs, so that they would be outwardly repaired, this way the finshing process of painting would come out immaculate. I agreed to the process because firstly this doll was important to me, and having his legs matching the rest of him was equally important to me. The steps following were simple. I packed his legs with his torso so that Janie could match the paint and sent them off. When My doll's legs arrived I was stunned at the great work, they were perfect in everyway! I was completely satisfied and happy that I had found and chosen Antique Child Doll Restoration to do the work on my Doll's legs. As a matter of fact, I was so satisfied with the restoration that I decided to attend one of her doll restoration seminars which she offers on her website. I too wanted to learn the art of doll restoration! It was a great learning experience that I will soon work upon. I highly recommend Antique Child Doll Restoration for High quality professional work on your antique doll, you will not be disappointed. I also recommend any of Janie's course's on doll restoration which can be found on her website. Thank you Antique Child Doll Restoration!~”
“Went in to kill time. Was scared it was going to be a nerd palace. It was, but in a good way. All of the toys and whatnots tickled every childhood memory in the recesses of my 45 year old brain. E.T., Alf, Popples, Fisher Price- it’s all here, and a lot of it still in original packaging. Prices are affordable.Almost took a star off for the anti-California sentiments but all stars given in the spirit of Christmas.”
