Such a fun salon. Great atmosphere. Honestly though, what makes it great is the people. My stylist Dusty always does such an amazing job. She's super creative and helpful, makes you feel and look gorgeous, pluss she's an A+ human, love going into Tonic and getting the celebrity experience.

i highly do not recommend "lance"!!! no matter how long he has been doing hair!! he truly "should not be a hairstylist"!! he does not listen to you on what you want or requested.for your outcome. he does what he wants. i had to leave before he even bruised it out! i left crying and in pain from him not putting any thing in my hair to comb it out.. you could here my hair snapping with every brush. he should have been using a professional comb with product in my hair not a brush. i am a hairstylist myself and have never seen nor went through the torcher i had to endure!!! i have very fine thin hair and my natural color is dirty dishwater blonde i showed him a picture of how my hair has been for 20 years and he ruined and damaged my hair!!!! i was in the hospital for 2 1/2 months so it grew out and i needed a touch up only. he just put bleach high lights in and they were scattered and i left with a bowl on top of my hair. when i got home i hair to do 3 superfood deeep treatments on my hair to repair it the best i could. i had to find someone else to repair the color and it cost me $160.. so i highly ""do not""recommend him to to touch your hair!!!!!!!

This is a review for Ariel! I have followed Ariel from a salon previous to this one because I appreciate her work so much. She is a blonde pro, a blending pro, and a massage during hair wash PRO! I came in with a year grown out balayage. She blended in some new blonde and I felt like a new woman coming out! The salon is clean, modern, and feels nice and airy! I would def. recommend Ariel to anyone needing a hair freshen up!

Ava Brown is an amazing stylist and worked wonders on my hair! I got a cut with layers and a blonde bayalage and it turned out better than I expected. I even ended up getting lost trying to find my car (that's what happens when you live in rural Nampa, I guess) and she did her best to help me find it. I'm definitely going back for more services (and hopefully not losing my car this time ??)

Ava was so fabulous! I have very curly hair and she did a great job with it. Asked me what I wanted every step of the way and stuck to it. Plus she's just lovely. Definitely recommend!

I love this salon! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Tonic has a great atmosphere with great products. I highly recommend Jacqueline, she is an amazing stylist! She is awesome with both cutting and color. Jacqueline has been doing my hair for almost 10 years and I leave happy every time!

I stopped in yesterday to buy new shampoo and conditioner for me hair. Right as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and warm hospitality. The owner helped me with my product decision and even gave me a free dry shampoo to help me use less heat on my hair by having to wash it less. I have been trying to grow my hair for a year after a worker at a DIFFERENT salon burnt my hair with bleach and the owner of tonic helped me find the best products for the best price. I went home with four high end salon brand products for less than $70. The help was so wonderful that I dropped my highlight appointment at another salon to visit Tonic in April! 10/10 would recommend supporting this small business.

Love this salon! Perfectly located for me - always greeted with a smile/hug and tea when I walk in. Randee Cole is the BEST stylist! I have been with her for over 10 years and I'm so thankful she's back in Boise. She knows current styles, is an excellent colorist and thinks outside the box when you're looking to try something new or need some inspiration. Not only does she know what she's doing, she's wonderful to talk to. And when you spend a lot of time in a chair, a friendly conversation is a must. I walk out of a haircut with Randee feeling confident, and beautiful!

Moved here from Fl 2 years ago and was a former hairstylist. I haven't been able to find a good stylist until now. I highly suggest Megan. She is professional, and really knows what she is doing. Her technique is on point! Best highlight I have ever had. If you are looking for a new stylist go see Megan!!
