THE TAX OFFICE 6140 W Corporal Ln BOISE, ID 83704 PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU USE THEM. I'm sorry to have to post this have no other option. I have been with The Tax Office (mother/daughter business) 23 YEARS. First year was in 1997 I have been in compliance every year. This last year I was audited for 2017. Joy helped filled out audit and found we owed over $6,000.00 after Tax Guide Lines/Deductions were changed by President. MANY conversations with her and after 23 years this is what I got, NOTHING. She hung up on me while trying to figure out what she should be responsible for. I call Attorney, Tax advacate, other tax preparers, EVERYONE agrees that penalty and interest Is generally taken care of by tax preparers. 23 YEARS!!!!! longer than most marriages. She stated even if she wanted to help the company had no funds to do so, she would have to make PAYMENTS. They have NO insurance to cover this issue as most do. LMAO OH I said I have over $6,000.00 laying around let me just take care of this. Joy states we gave you a break over the last 23 years!! (NOT $200.00 A YEAR JUST $175.00) I trusted them mother/daughter to be honest, have integrity, prepare taxes correctly. None of which were done evidently and Joy stated so in statements made to me. After 4 months nothing from The Tax Office. #thetaxoffice #becareful
