My father upgraded his system with this business. He had them trying to resale some of his old equipment. They lost/sold his speaker stands. My father in law kept getting the run around from this place for replacements. They eventually stoped taking his and my phone calls. He never got compensation or replacement for the items.

Raymond and staff are the best. Best Customer service. We have been with them for 16 years. Have had our home systems upgraded twice with great results. We recently upated our Modem and we were not able to reconnect with our Routers. Raymond took the time on his way home on a Friday to get us up and going again before the long weekend.

They did the install for security cameras and all the audio visual wiring in our house. Had a few issues but they claimed it wasn’t their fault and washed their hands of it. Having problems with the system currently and after months of trying to set up an appointment for them to fix it I’m finally resorting to this review. They will not return my calls even after speaking directly to the owner Raymond. Look for another company for your home installs because this one is horrible.

This used to be my go to place for home theatre. Not anymore. After planning an atmos system and paying 90% down. I waited for 5 months of getting strung along and ghosted. I even had to go through the credit card company to get a refund. Very disappointing experience. Ended up going with Infinite Home theatre who got me taken care of in less than 30 days.

I went in looking for a home stereo receiver. I have two older Luxmans and wanted to hear their new stuff. The Stereo Shoppe refused to let me listen. They said they didnt have any Luxmans in stock. So I asked to listen to whatever they had and they said they don't have any home receivers. I could see they had some receivers and what kind of stereo shop doesnt have any stereos? I asked about specs on the Luxmans and they told me to go check Luxmans website. The Luxman website says to go to a dealer... the dealer says to go to Luxmans website? I asked about the price of each model and they wouldn't give me any specifics and just said they start around $5k. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when the store refuses to let her shop because they don't think she can afford it!Update: The response below is not true. They did not tell me they had one on order. If that were true why didnt they invite me to come back when it arrived? Why didnt they take my name/number and call me when it arrived? They stopped me at the front desk, asked why I was there, and didnt allow me to browse at all. I asked to listen to whatever they had in stock and was told they had nothing. I wasnt physically shown a single receiver or allowed to listen to a single receiver. It was very clear they didnt think I could afford the receiver and they didnt want to waste their time helping me. Luxman shouldn't allow their dealers to act like this.

I am hearing impaired and listen to tv thru headphones. Spent money on big name store technicians only to be told it is not possible to use headphones and tv sound at same time. Cameron from Stereo Shoppe had everything working in an hour. Nice competent folks!

I spent the time to meet with Chris to go over the requirements for our new home we are building. I spent a couple hours with him and also one of the owners of the company going over what we need done. Our project is a large project with 8 tv's to install, 5 wireless access points, a home theater room to build out including all speakers and equipment, home automation system (control4), automatic window shades, speakers throughout the home and much more. My point is our project is not small and you would think they would be interested in helping us out but I have now been waiting for about 2 months for them to get an estimate to me and they keep scheduling time to go over our estimate but keep backing out at the last minute. Horrible service. Greg L.

Hands down best service in the Valley! Nate and his team did a great job installing speakers for my team at our job site. I received positive feedback from them and morale was noticeably improved. Due to this I trusted Nate to come to my home and setup my TV/Sound bar so the wires would not show on the wall. Great job guys!

Our appointment was scheduled for 12pm on a Friday afternoon and the sales rep didn't show up until 12:45. No apologies, nothing. We explained what we wanted, he took notes and we never heard from them again. No follow up call, no quote, nothing. What a waste of time.

I had a terrible experience with The Stereo Shoppe and it just keeps going on and on.I was directed there by a friend who recommended them for the instillation of my TV. I also wanted a sound bar. So after the initial consultation and some forthright advice about TV's and the sound system they let me know it would be after Christmas and beyond before they could get to the job. That's understandable and they finally came and put it in. There was little instruction and away they went. A few months later I called and ask if someone could come by and show me a few things on how the system works as there are no instructions or guide. They had told me they would do that prior to instillation. This is when the first issue started. Multiple appointments were made and everyone of them was not kept, no phone call, just a no show. This literally went on for months until I finally used some financial leverage and suddenly they were eager to come help. So this issue solved.Then a month ago the pest control people were under the house in the crawl space doing an inspection and they let me know there was insulation coming down from the floor. Now this is a new house so I go down and low and behold every place The Stereo Shoppe installers ran the cable for the system they pulled the insulation down and didn't bother to replace it.I fixed it myself.I wouldn't recommend them.

Yes. These guys are so relaxed and easy to talk to. I listened to a 30k system and was thrilled and disappointed all at once. I would not be taking that one home that day. Soo they had me listen to the same brand speakers, same quality, at a price I could work with. A month later I went home and turned it into heaven. Streaming hi-res audio. Like being able to walk into a record store with 60 million song choices and being ably to walk out with all you can carry... For $20 a month. I've never even fantasized about owning an entry level audio file quality system and listeningto all the music I could possibly want in higher than CD quality. It's been a month and already in running my side-hustle at full steam to start upgrading ASAP. It's beautiful as is but it gets much better. I have a feeling I'm going to be investing in better and better sound the rest of my life. And I'll do that with the Stereo Shoppe as long as we're both around.
