Horrible service. Initially I asked for a technician to come out and make sure the wifi was set up correctly. They said I didn't need to worry, I could plug the modem in and it should work. Surprise, surprise - it didn't. I tried every coax port in the house with different cables - nothing. So I scheduled an appointment which meant waiting for a week and a half. I was told to expect a phone call 24 hours in advance to verify the appointment. I get the call, the automated voice told me to press "1" to confirm. I press "1". The message repeats... I hit "1" again, the message repeats. I do that five or six times before it hangs up. Of course this is past local business hours so when I try to call back to verify with a human being I'm hung up on again. I call again the morning of the appointment to confirm the technician will show. They say yes. I wait the entire morning - nothing. I call back that afternoon and they them nobody came. Apparently they did, they had the photo of my home to confirm it. They said the tech rang the doorbell and knocked. I'm at a loss, because I was literally home ALL MORNING. I don't know how I wouldn't have heard them at the door. The real kicker is they were supposed to call before they showed up and never did. So now I have to wait another week for another tech to show... We're desperately wanting a different service but of course there are very few options. These services are monopolies, they know you don't have a choice, and they take advantage of it.

There are issues with losing the signal on my TVV. Also I had to get a wired Keyboard and mouse in order to stop my computer from freezing up.

I Waited All Week, for My Appt. & They Left a Door Tag, Saying They Came By, They Said They Called, ((But I Had My Cell in My Hand the Whole Time, Waiting!))Then They Said They Knocked & Rang the Door Bell, But I Have 2 Big Barking Dogs That Heard Nothing, ? & Neither did I!!! And my dogs would Have BARKED THEIR HEAD'S OFF "IF" Anybody Had RANG THE DOOR BELL, Or KNOCKED ON THE DOOR!!! But even so, it seems like Somebody Wanted OFF WORK EARLY today, and Just Skated On By. ?I am Not HappyWith This SERVICE! ?

Sparklight has come a very long way. Great service, helpful and overall pretty great. Faster internet than the competitor with better data rates. Hands down the best. I called in to add more data and they offered me unlimited for less than what I was already paying and offered to cancel the current overages since I was changing.I will also add that sparklight is archaic in their approach to bill pay. Unlike many vendors, they will only do email or paper billing and won’t notify of upcoming bills via text. They also act punitively over a more forward approach. Notifications of cutting off your service don’t exist. I forgot to pay my bill and had a $90 reconnect fee unless I did autopay. Most companies are taking a much more proactive approach to help people as opposed to the troglodytes method of the club over the head. Still like the service but not their methods. Grow up and read some books.One driver in particular in a truck with #76 on the back drives like a douche canoe. I also drive a service van and I see him sometimes on federal way weaving in and out of traffic, cutting off other drivers, exceeding safe parameters and turning right to the outside lane. Dude needs to chill the hell out, we’re all trying to get home.This just keeps getting worse. I have updated this review several times. Apparently the original installer did my line wrong. The next guy that fixed it also did it wrong by running a cable above ground in my backyard. Every 2 months I have to call these idiots to fix my internet. Now they are supposed to be out to fix my cable and they can’t even give me a time and absolutely no one will help me. This is the worst customer service of any place I’ve ever been to and I’m really tired of my internet being super sporadic. Now it’s my problem even though I pay for them to provide the service they aren’t even providing. These guys are terrible.

The installer arrived on time and did an extremely professional job, taking time to explain and answer all/any questions.After several months of aggravation, the Internet works again the way it is supposed to work, and I am no longer required to talk to customer service and technical people around the worl when I have any problems.

Sparklight has been amazing to work with. The service is outstanding and their fiber speeds are so fast! Jeremy, John and Charlie were awesome during the installation. He went out of his way to make sure everything got setup correctly and was working properly before leaving. Excellent communication and very friendly!

I moved in November and found that Sparklight has been charging me still. It's the end of Feb...Heres the crazy part, I removed ALL my credit cards from my profile just in case. They still took my credit card information and payed the bills. It around $250.Beware of these guys. They are rude and quite honestly theives.

Hasn’t been a stellar experience. I had Sparklight because Century Link is garbage. Seemed to be the lesser of two evils given that there are not many internet providers in Boise. My internet was always subpar. Constant issues. Thank God Verizon now offers internet in our area. I switched immediately. However, when I just called to cancel and was on hold for 10+ minutes, I was told that I cannot cancel over the phone. I have to go in person… if I was told that right out the gate I wouldn’t have wasted 20 minutes. So grateful I never have to deal with this company again.EDIT: Fast forward to today - a month later. I get an email from Sparklight saying that my service was disconnected and my account closed due to nonpayment.... I have never not paid a bill IN MY LIFE. I dropped off my modem at the Sparklight location in Boise with a note requesting that my service be cancelled. I called a rep and they said that the email must have been fraudulent (though it clearly wasn't... it is from the same "no reply" email address that I've received previous correspondence from). They did say that I had an outstanding balance of $25 for who knows what. I paid that. I HOPEFULLY am now done dealing with this disorganized mess of a company.

Sparklight provides quality customer service. From my first contact with Sparklight, I was greeted over the telephone by a very pleasant and informative woman. She explained how their company operated and was able to set me up with service and payment arrangements. Within a few days, their serviceman (Duane) came to my home and made the installment for my WiFi. He was very professional and efficient. He answered all of my questions and made sure the equipment was working before heleft. I highly recommend Sparklight to future customer. Thank you for a job well done! Leona Rennie

They arrived on time and were professional in the installation. They were respectful of our home and courteous.They explained system to us. Since then the system was installed it has performed flawless with plenty of speed. I have recommended Sparklight! Thanks!

After getting the runaround from Century Link for weeks, I reached out to Sparklight. Unfortunately, I had a very challenging install. Fortunately, I received amazing customer service from Jeff (I believe) and crew. With multiple tech visits they were able to get my internet installed ASAP! The internet itself is fast and keeps up with my demanding WFH needs.
