“very professional. After I explained where my foot pain was the podiatrist analyzed my feet and told me what was going on. She suggested some exercises to do and took impressions of my feet. A week later I had my inserts. It’s been ab a month now and so far so good. I just finished playing an hour of pickle ball and my feet feel fine. I’m one happy camper!”
“I just found this store last week probably because I haven't been to BTM in years!!
I do not like to shop, especially shoes. Both of the guys (?manager and ? Guy from Mackey)
were very helpful and patient with me. Well worth going to the mall for shoes.
Thx”
“Awesome customer service. The worker helped me find the right shoe and fit to help with my plantar fasciitis, and was really informative.
When my shoe started peeling due to defect they gave me no trouble immediately replacing them, which was a quick and simple process.
Great local run company, even though it's a big name! Go support the only New Balance store here in Idaho, they're great folks!”
“Jeffery at Rosendahl’s is THE BEST! He is customer oriented, knowledgeable in all the ways to select the best shoes for comfort & great fit. Jeffery is your guy if you need a good shoe!”
“You approach 3-Peat: “Needful Things” by Stephen King Vibes begin to Pimp-Slap you when you walk in the door and see the Beautiful Bounty of Jordan Retros and Streetwear laid out in perfect display like the pool full of Gold Coins that Scrooge Mc-Duck likes to do his morning swim in. They should have a caution sign for Excessive Drip ❤️ 10/10 Shopping Experience Every Trip!”
“Just stopped in to pick up a new pair of shoes - Liam was super helpful as I wasn’t sure which brand or style I wanted to try (noticed a difference in the brand I had been using so I wanted to branch out). Liam was super patient, kind and helped me try on numerous different styles - he even helped me find different colors available we could order in of the style I decided on. He also took his time to explain their return policy. Thank you Liam and Bandana!”

“We are so lucky to have great small businesses in downtown Boise. Fancy Pants does not disappoint for classy casual or for that dressy special occasion. They are so welcoming to everyone. I love supporting these ladies!”
“Famous Footwear at Towne Square in Boise offers a wide variety of brand-name shoes for the whole family at affordable prices. Customers appreciate the convenient location, well-organized store, and helpful staff who make finding the right style and fit an easy and pleasant experience.”
“Coach has been stepping their game up with the styles this year! Mini has helped me with my last two purchases. She goes above and beyond to find me what I’m looking for even when it’s not in stock. She’s always a pleasure to work with and makes my buying experience effortless!”
“I stopped in at Red Wings to get a pair of work boots and Kyle and Chris were amazing. They really go above and beyond for their customers, and I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you need a pair of boots!”

“My husband and I stopped in here randomly on Friday night. The store is stocked full of awesome unique clothes and accessories! My husband found a hoodie and I got a new purse! This is the store to shop! The lady at register was so polite said hello, let us browse and chatted while we rang out! We will most definitely be back! We live in Nampa , so we have nothing like that here ! We will definitely be back to shop! Awesome shop!! Great prices!”
“We’ve always loved Vans for the style, quality, affordability, and comfort. This store has great customer service! It’s rare these days to have a good experience inside a brick and mortar store. How pleasant to find it not only well-stocked but appropriately staffed with a friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient crew. Thank you and keep up the good work!”
“I would just love to say, This buckle is hands down one of the best jeans stores I have ever experienced. I have a 36” inseam with a 27W and it’s hard to find jeans long enough in stores. Buckle had everything I could’ve dreamed of! Hailey was absolutely amazing and was the best costumer service I have ever received! She was such a doll and I will be returning!”
“Piece Unique is the top choice for buying premium quality clothing. I found my experience to be the best in the valley, and of any boutique in downtown Boise. I was well taken care of from top to bottom. These women gave exceptional service all the way to my car!I love Piece Unique!”
“I went in to get some shoes for my little cousins cause I'm missing out on their birthdays while I'm away for college, and both of the ladies on staff were super awesome and helpful, they were the manager and the co I think they said. I knew my coudins sizes which was nice, but I wasn't sure exactly what to get, so the staff helped me pick out a nice style for each of them that's been popular and they were super friendly. I gave some ideas of what my little cousins are loving altely, ones a boy and ones a girl, and they had some awesome recommendations and were just super friendly and happy to help. It was an amazing experience, I'd recommend them to anyone and would happily go back again.”
“I love this Talbots. The gals that work here are so helpful. They can't do enough for you. If they don't have what you want they will order it for you.”

“Location inside Boise Towne (yes, with an e) Square Mall is the only drawback for me because while I'm not a fan of shopping malls my first foray into this J. Jill store - I noticed it on my mission-trip to Williams Sonoma - was an excellent one. Friendly service, think Nordstrom'esque for welcoming shopper and assisting with finding items and checking with the shopper in the dressing room, well laid out store and with plenty of space in aisleways, neatly arranged merchandise with plenty of options but not overwhelming in same, sizes from 0 to 2X and Petites too. The manager here could teach a master class to other retailers in the area about how to get it right. It makes me want to learn how to wear J. Jill clothing because while I have tried in the past, the J. Jill in the Central Oregon city I lived in was accessed from sidewalk in shopping area and didn't require navigating an indoor mall, so I'd go in when passing by, I never have really learned how to make it work for me, although I am for sure their age demographic and the unfussiness of the styling works for my preferences even if some of the designs are too Eileen Fischer'esque shapeless for me and I feel as if I disappear in them. I'm a smaller and shorter person, 5'4" / size 2, and somehow the regular sizes in JJill are too big for me but the petites aren't right either. But my BFF who is 5'7" / 8 looks great in everything she has purchased in this brand over the years, as does a friend who is in the average American woman size of 12 -14 and they are all dedicated shoppers of J.Jill products. (See closing comment...J. Jill cultivates buyer brand loyalty.) The price is right and in particular when they have sales. Next time I am brave enough to go inside the mall I will spend more time here. If they moved the store outside the mall, I'd be there more often.SERVICE: Dressing rooms are nicely set up. I LOVE that a staff person will check to see if you want a different size or color or item so that you don't have to get dressed to go out to the store floor again. (You hearing this Macy's?)COMFORTABLE ACCESS FOR EVERYONE: As a shopper with disabilities, I have had multiple sclerosis since college years and it is a progressive disease, I particularly appreciate the perfect ADA compliance for at least 36" clear space in aisles. This has been equal access law since 1990 but you'd be amazed how many retailers, in particular for clothing, treat this as optional. Good for J. Jill corporate and this Boise store manager for taking it seriously. Better access is good for all shoppers, and essential for shoppers like me. 411: If you like knowing something about the retailers you choose to support with your spending (we all vote with our feet and wallets) this Forbes article from September 2022 on J. Jill (named after the original founders' daughter) is a good one to chart the ups, downs ups of the business. (Nothing to do with J. Jill, but when I lived in NJ in 1980 I used to sit on my condo deck on some days and watch Malcom Forbe's Capitalist Tool hot air balloon drifting in the distance. A zillion years ago.) forbes.com/sites/walterl…Forbe's investor POSTSCRIPT: J.Jill is seeking greater acceptance with a "Welcome Everybody" campaign. The customer is uniquely loyal to the brand, the sales associates try to establish personal relationships for the brand. Growth is assured with the strong customer base and the broad size assortment.”
“It's better to order online then going to the actual store as they never have the sizes I need or what I'm looking for. However, I do like being able to go inside the store to see the clothing in person for correct sizing as some things do run smaller”
“Went to 4 other places in the mall and they all had the same generic shoes. This Journeys had exactly the shoes I wanted and Matt did a great job helping me out. Thanks again!”
“Kevin the sales associate was amazing! He helped me find a pair of running shoes that my son likes which can only be ordered on line since his foot is extra wide. I am so glad that you hired Kevin because he was also able to ship my sons shoes right to my doorstep. In addition, I am able to return them to Encore Shoes in the Boise Mall if they do not fit properly on my son. Just a win-win situation since my son does not like going to the store and trying on shoes. I have bought all my shoes at Encore these past almost two years since moving from San Francisco area of California to Boise….Encore is my favorite shoe store, EVER! They need to have more Encore Shoe departments in Idaho as well as open some stores up in California.”
“This store is AMAZING! I needed to get wide black heels for my sister’s wedding, and typically have to buy them online at a random store and spend so much time trying to not find a grandma heel that costs me sooo much money. One day I had the idea of going to dsw and looking because I was having no luck online. I went in, and asked Natalie if they had any wide heels. To my shock, they had a wide variety of wide black heels, and the customer service was amazing! No up charge for wide heels either!”
“If you like spending a ton of money on clothes go here. The men's section was pretty bleak. It was just a bunch of polo stuff, Ralph Lauren. Everything was kind of lame but expensive.
Picked up some nice hokas though and they were 60 bucks off so that's decent.”
“I went to the mall today for my birthday after driving 2 hours from twin falls, Andrew, who was absolutely fabulous, greeted me and helped me with sizing and styles as I was buying my first pair of converse (or name brand shoes in general) and was incredibly attentive and kind. I found the perfect pair and headed up to the front to Tifanie who was also super attentive and kind. Overall, this was a really great experience because of the employees!”
“They usually have great deals on shoes. I just got some socks by Stance from the for only $10 each normally $20. I got my last pair of shoes from them as well. Staff is pretty chill too.”
“Unfortunately my day started by having to return a pair of boots that wasn’t waterproof like the boot stated. But with the help of the manager and Jadyn they worked together as a team to make sure I was taken care of. Even left the store with knowledge on boot care and a few extra items at a discounted price. “It’s always better to ask and see what kind of help we can offer” manager said. My kind of people. Good day after all.”
“Super helpful with warranty work, they no longer accept drop offs in store but they reimburse you for shipping and accepted my second old jacket for a new zipper. Best warranty along with Patagonia!”
“I had such a great experience here. I came in concerned with a pair of running shoes I recently purchased elsewhere. I thought maybe I needed a different pair for my foot. David helped me out in more ways than one! He took a scan of my stride on the computer and told me I’m most likely in a great pair for my feet but we could try a couple different options that may work to see what differences I felt. After trying a couple others with just minor differences in turns out I’m in a great pair. He gave me some great knowledge that will help me with my runs. Next time I need anything running/walking related I’ll be in to Idaho Running Co. They absolutely have my business! Thank you so much!”
