“I had such a great experience here. I came in concerned with a pair of running shoes I recently purchased elsewhere. I thought maybe I needed a different pair for my foot. David helped me out in more ways than one! He took a scan of my stride on the computer and told me I’m most likely in a great pair for my feet but we could try a couple different options that may work to see what differences I felt. After trying a couple others with just minor differences in turns out I’m in a great pair. He gave me some great knowledge that will help me with my runs. Next time I need anything running/walking related I’ll be in to Idaho Running Co. They absolutely have my business! Thank you so much!”
“Just stopped in to pick up a new pair of shoes - Liam was super helpful as I wasn’t sure which brand or style I wanted to try (noticed a difference in the brand I had been using so I wanted to branch out). Liam was super patient, kind and helped me try on numerous different styles - he even helped me find different colors available we could order in of the style I decided on. He also took his time to explain their return policy. Thank you Liam and Bandana!”

“The man who I got to meet with at the New Balance store was really nice to me and my wife and he took the time to listen to me talk about how my right foot has a tendency to get pretty swollen during the hot summer months and regardless of what I do to combat the swelling it changes very little with how swollen it gets. He understood my need for a new shoe that had plenty of extra room in the toe box to accommodate my foot. He set about looking at my foot and then said that he thought that they had a shoe that was a 6E width and went to look for it. He came back with two different shoes that we tried on my foot to see which one actually had the larger toe box. There was only the one shoe that fit my foot and felt comfortable enough for me to feel like I could wear the shoe for a longer period of time and still be comfortable with out binding or pinching the instep of my foot. Luckily the shoe he had was the correct size and actually did have a large toe box that up to then I was not able to find a shoe that fit me that wasn’t two or three sizes too large for my foot and yet had the room I needed. I was also lucky in the sense that this particular shoe was the ONLY ONE THEY HAD IN THE STORE! He said that that model was an older version that was not available anymore so even if I’d needed a different size they would not have been able to order it since Now Balance had discontinued the model!! So I guess it was providence that brought me to this store on that day to meet the sales person who knew what they had in stock and would fit me perfectly. He also was able to give me a military discount price for the shoe and since it was a close out item he was willing to give me a little bit more of a discount!! My wife and I left the store very much satisfied with the price and the shoe. We both commented that the man who helped us was a very knowledgeable person who knew the product, listened to my concern and condition of my foot and truly understood my needs and with his knowledge base of not only the product line but also knew what they had available to satisfy the requirements of my foot and the price range I had to work with. I just wish now that I was able to recall the man’s name so I could add it to this post!! With a little bit of research and looking at the employees that work there someone might find out who he was and maybe post his name to my comment section.
My sincere thanks to him for his help and the time he spent with me on my need for a new shoe.

“Wow! So here's the story.Bought a cleaning kit because my solid whites got a single scuff on the top of them. Mind you that I bought these shoes just about a year ago (pretty proud of that). Upon the cleaning and drying I noticed this horrible yellow stain begin to emerge out of nowhere on both kicks. Once fully dried, it stuck. Both whites were ruined! But...Called the store to complain about the product and how upset I was and the sales rep said "Man, im so sorry. Bring those in and well damage them out for you since it was our product that did that to them. What's the name I can put on the fresh new pair for pick up?" What? When is the last time you have had that level of customer service? Been a while in todays day and age for me and I'm in my 40's.Thanks Vans and well done, guy who Im not naming in case he might get in trouble for this awesomeness (sad that I even have to say that). Fan for life!”

“I have been feeding my shoe addition/shopping at DSW for more than 20 years that I have lived in Idaho. The selection of shoes and range of sizes and widths is very helpful. And the staff! The staff has always been friendly and extremely accommodating. Recently I made an online purchase and had to return and exchange items from it - the Assistant Manager really went above and beyond to find my order and refund me. It is service like that that keeps me returning to this store/site for shopping! The staff and management realize that, in the last few years especially, prices have gone bonkers for all sorts of things, and they try to temper that with really stellar customer service. I highly recommend this business.”

“I went in to get some shoes for my little cousins cause I'm missing out on their birthdays while I'm away for college, and both of the ladies on staff were super awesome and helpful, they were the manager and the co I think they said. I knew my coudins sizes which was nice, but I wasn't sure exactly what to get, so the staff helped me pick out a nice style for each of them that's been popular and they were super friendly. I gave some ideas of what my little cousins are loving altely, ones a boy and ones a girl, and they had some awesome recommendations and were just super friendly and happy to help. I went back into the store and talked to Mark Faulkner who went above and beyond to make it right. I ended up leaving with a new set of boots and in souls for a fraction of the price. “very professional. After I explained where my foot pain was the podiatrist analyzed my feet and told me what was going on. She suggested some exercises to do and took impressions of my feet. A week later I had my inserts. It’s been ab a month now and so far so good. I just finished playing an hour of pickle ball and my feet feel fine. I’m one happy camper!”
