This is an old outdated property and it shows. But worse, they cheap cheap cheap.(except the prices of course! those are inflated) We are in a 2/2 so 4 of us in the unit. But only 2 chairs at the table that is set up for 4. When I asked if we could get a couple more chairs...NOPE! NOBODY can have 4 chairs, I suspect the chairs are super CHEAP chairs and break easily and do not bother to replace them. Same with hangers. Nice closets here..but if no hangers to hang up your coat in the coat closet..why have closets? Providing hangers appear to be out of their budget here. They have attempted to do a bit of minimal updating here, but they have obviously had some water damage but their answer is just paint over everything rather that actually fixing it , the paint job here looks like a child did it. Obviously, a bad paint jobs to not impact the functionality of the room but it is just another example of their total lack of pride in their property that is reflective of everything else here, while charging top dollar rates. Oh and there is also a "surprise!" parking fee. This is not a downtown location where that can be expected or a parking garage. This is a huge parking lot. The parking fee is not disclosed when booking. We need an extended stay property for a couple more weeks, but we plan to cut our losses and move to the downtown RI that gets much better reviews.

Vey happy with this hotel. When we arrived we were upgrades to a better room which was so perfect for our big family. The receptionist Rebekah was very nice even the one we talked to over the phone was kind. Our room was super nice and clean. I recommend this place 10/10! This will be our spot to stay from now on. Thank

I travel quite a lot for work and have been to some fancy hotels in major cities - they could all learn a lot from this place! The staff are amazingly friendly. The facilities are super clean. The rooms are quiet and spacious, with very comfortable beds. The free breakfast was delicious, and they offer a free shuttle to and from the airport - an amenity that's become almost obsolete these days and is so appreciated! The landscaping is awesome, with lots of outdoor fire pit seating. I will look forward to coming to this place every time I'm in Boise in the future!

If you need spacious rooms for an extended stay, this is the place. The rooms are converted one bedroom apartments so you have a full bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom available in the units. Central location easy to get downtown, walking distance to a restaurant and good amenities. An excellent option in the area.

Poor service - GM was extremely rude to our party upon check in. We cancelled our week long reservation 1 day into our stay and booked a different hotel.

Terrible experience rude and irresponsible staff, and extremely ungrateful attitudes.I booked a room with Residence Inn by Marriott for 3 nights at over $300.00 a night. The first issue was they allowed an unauthorized guest to request and aquire a new key to my room. This person was authorized and the key was new - which cancelled out my keys. I could not believe how irresponsible that was. And that it happened in such a nice place as this. Given the sensitive nature of the issues some of the long term guests are dealing with, you would think security would be a priority. After a 3 night stay we were looking to book a fourth night. But the hotel was hooked for the evening of the 18th. When we inquired a full 24 hours I'm advance, staff was very kind and encouraged us to try and book tomorrow and if we had any problems request a late checkout to ensure best chance of getting the room. So we did that and as soon as it was determined that there was no rooms left available to book. Staff became extremely pushy and rushing us to get out of the hotel room as if we had not even been there soon. When we inform them that we had late check out they verified it and allowed us to stay a few moments and then began to rush us l. After confronted with this they did not apologize for the rude behavior for the pushy way in which I was treated. The only reason that we requested a late check out in the first place was because hotel staff encouraged us to do so because we were hoping to book on a full night. The house keeping staff was extremely rude and pushy and tried to enter the room several times after we informed them that we were not ready. But I would be soon. The one bright spot of the whole experience was the young lady who helped us to check in. She was very friendly very helpful and should be commended on her effort on giving our stay an awesome start. Unfortunately between hotel staff passing out unauthorized keys to my room and housekeeping being extremely pushy and professional and rude, and staff members being unable to communicate with each other about our late check out this experience has turned out to be one of the worst I've ever experienced in a hotel.I expect that hotel management or a representative from the company will reach out to help resolve these issues, and figure out a way to provide us with an enjoyable stay in a hotel that is renowned for it.

Not the best Marriott experience. I am loyal marriot bonvoy gold member and used to think that Marriott is great. Stayed for 6 weeks and spend for more than 7000$, the rooms have leak on the window cause fly went into the rooms. I have to do fly hunting so that I can get a good sleep at night. And they charge me over 4$ bottle of water that I don't drink. Called and get into argument with the staff. They eventually told me that they are going to refund the money. But I don't hear any apology for that unauthorized charge. I don't think they treat and understand customer well, it is not about the 4$ but about principle and customer service. Won't stay here anymore. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the breakfast was great and the kitchen crew is super friendly.Rooms: Window leak causing fly went into the room. Happened multiple times.

This Residence Inn has all the perks! Perfect for families or larger groups, close to everything especially if you don't mind walking a mile or so (great for my tribe)! And the nicest staff! Kudos & we'll be back!

I have stayed at other Marriotts in different cities, but none of the Residence Inns have made me feel so uncomfortable. The room is very old and the hot tub is gross. The ceiling is lower than normal rooms. And bugs are everywhere, unidentified red bugs have been crawling on the sofa, table, and even made their way into the toothbrush cup twice. There are spiders on the walls, and mosquitoes inside the room??♀️The sound of AC is like the airplane take off.And very noisy outside the room……So terrible.

There was a request to use the ceiling fan to help cool the room but there wasn't one in our room. The ice maker in the fridge didn't work and very noisy outside our room. It's a little pricey for the amenities offered.
