Bought new balance socks couple of washes already wearing, if socks can't hold up why buy shoes at those prices are they going to fall apart to after a couple of walks

It would have been nice to at least try on some shoes but we waited over 30 min and we were never even acknowledged in the store. The store was empty and there was two people working, when was with someone helping them out. The other man rang someone up and went in the back, and never came out while we sat there and waited.Just a simple “will be right with you “ from the worker helping the other customers would have been nice.Guess we’ll take our business somewhere else.They missed out on the sale of 3+ shoes we went in for.I’ll never return to this store. And I’ll tell everyone I know not to waste their time going here.

I realize this review is regarding a pair of shoes that are one year and six days old, but my disappointment is not only with the shoes but also with the local Boise New Balance store. In June of 2022, I went to this store needing shoes with good support. The salesperson directed me to the 880 model. We did a basic shoe sizing and opted for the size 9 1/2. They were (and are nice looking shoes). I had worn the shoes a few times on vacations and a little walking. They got dirty, so I washed them in cold water and air-dried them. Both pairs of shoes shrunk enough to no longer fit comfortably. Something I have done with other shoes without having an issue. I set them aside, intending to take them back to the store, but frankly forgot for about six months. Of course, that is my fault. Here is the thing, when I did bring them back to the store, the manager told me if I had brought them back after six months, he might have been able to help me, but not this long after. The manager did note that the shoes did, in fact, look only slightly worn and in good condition. He then offered me a $10 discount if I wanted to purchase other shoes. I paid over $250 for both pairs of shoes! A $10 discount isn't anything I can't get any day of the week. I can get the same shoes anywhere else for $25 less (per pair) or more. I went to New Balance directly for the service and to support a locally-owned store instead of Amazon. ...But wait, there is more. On the manager's suggestion, I called New Balance customer support for assistance. They politely took the information and even called the local noise store to verify my purchase, then gave me a case number. I waited about 11 days and called New Balance back to see the status of the case review, as no one had reached out to me as expected. I was told there was nothing they could do. I was told that the local store manager (his name is Josh) had told the corporate customer service that both pairs of shoes were well worn (they still look almost new today), that because it had been one year, he couldn't do anything (while I understand the one-year thing, I also know New Balance is a huge company, and they charge a lot for their shoes. I would think they would stand behind their products). He also told the corporate representative that he had offered me a discount to help out (that's the $10 (or about 4% of my $250 purchase). He said my wife and I were rude and condescending to him. I don't feel it is my nature to be rude or condescending. I did tell him that a $10 discount on a new pair of shoes did not help me with my problem after paying $250. I just wanted shoes that fit, and in light of my experience with New Balance, I could not see purchasing them in the future. That is when he suggested calling Corporate. Josh, the manager, was condescending. It was clear he did not want to help us. He stated, "Because we are a locally owned store, we cannot do any more than the $10 discount." He said a few times, "I get ya, but I can't help ya.' Our conversation was not rude or condescending, but surely I do have to say something when I'm not treated well. If Josh had been honest to the corporate representative about our conversation and the condition of the shoes, I would have been more than happy. Even if they denied my claim, I would have understood he tried to do the right thing for his customer. Bottom line. I have two pair of shoes that are in almost new condition that shrunk. New Balance doesn't have to do anything, but there are plenty of great companies out there that stand by their products. I will spend my hard-earned money with them instead of New Balance. As far as the local store, friends, and neighbors, there are many other stores within a mile or two of the Boise New Balance store that sell the same shoes for less. Go there. I promise they will not treat you as badly as Josh treated me. As for New Balance customer service, Josh tainted them, and they listened to his lies.

I just had a very good experience with Sawyer, shopping for athletic shoes for my grandkids. He was knowledgeable on pronation and flat feet. A successful trip! Highly recommend this store!

Bought a pair of shoes and insoles for my flat feet. Excellent customer service. Worth the money I paid for them. I have less knee pain. I appreciate they were not pushy-they were there to help
