Traveling for work and needed a new dress shirt for a meeting tomorrow (one I brought was done). Walked around looking for a shirt for a good 10 minutes and not one sales associate asked if I needed help. Found a couple to try on and had to look for help in another part of the store to find a dressing room (one I did find was taped off). Dressing room had no mirror inside of it. Bizarre. Two stars bc I found a shirt that I bought. Rest of the experience is a glimpse into how brick and mortar will meet its demise to online shopping.

Came in yesterday to find a homecoming dress for my daughter and the customer service was literally nonexistent. Not one employee to help in the dressing rooms, and when we did finally come across one, she didn't bothered to say hello nor greet us while shopping. When it was time to check out, the old blondish/grey haired woman checking us out was beyond rude. There was a woman in front of me in line and as soon as the woman walked up to make her purchase, the employee tried walking away from the counter until she saw there were 2 customers in line. Once we got up to the counter, she failed to greet us and rather than a smile, we received a god awful look instead which I found terribly rude! She's lucky I let that slide... I managed 3 department stores in my younger years and good lord did this woman lack every ounce of customer service. She took the dress and shoved it in a regular bag for it to get all wrinkled up... seriously?? I witnessed other customers prior to, purchase their gowns and receive a gown bag to go over the gown like it should. She never once thanked us for the purchase nor said good bye... just nastiness! Beyond disgusted with this experience. Time to clean shop and hire employees who know how to treat and greet customers with basic customer service. If this were one of my employees, I'd fire them on the spot. She's more than old enough to know better!

We all know about Macy's, but if you haven't had the chance to meet Enrique yet, you're really missing out. This man naturally garners the respect of his peers, and obviously myself. Enrique took his time to help me with my online order and when it became clear that I didn't know how to properly order a suit to fit me, he went out of his way to educate me and show me the art of the possible. When someone likes their work, it's obvious. Thank you Enrique for taking the time sir.

This store used to be great! Now it's disaster! The place is messy the brands they are now carrying looks like JCPenney or Walmart stuff. Dillards is now my choice. I used to love Macy's it's really a shame....

I went to Macy's looking for a prom dress for my 18 year old daughter and Theresa and 2 other wonderful ladies let me know what fitting room to go to. The main fitting room by the dresses was packed and a waiting line. Also my daughter is in a wheelchair. We tried on 10 dresses and my daughter found a dress. I also was looking for a new fragrance and that's where Theresa assisted me in finding the right one for me. She knew what she was talking about and she explained the similarities in some of the fragrances and I was able to find the right for me. We got some samples and both ladies told me wich sample to use on my daughter for prom night. Over I had a good customer service experience. These ladies where helpful and very sweet to my daughter. Thank you to these 3 wonderful ladies.

no stars. very disappointed in the service. i ordered something online and because i could not pick it up and called to see if i could extend it for one extra day they said no. with everything going on in the world i am surprised that there could not be some grace given. i had a death in the family not to mention other personal things going on. i will not shop with them again. i have not shopped macy's in a long time and now i remember why. i will not do it again. good luck keeping your customers.

The tag for the blazer is $89.00 and was charged $99.00 how is this fair and I never thought I would have to check a Macys receipt for theft of services.

Ordered Online, really great prices and the Order arrived in a good amount of time and everything was there. It was a fairly large order so it's easy to make a mistake and I am pleased they got everything right. So thank you for that.

Harmony was great she helped my dad find a cologne he was looking for (obsession) I felt bad for her because the lady in front of us was upset about something and was taking it out on her for not having a bag big enough for her purchase or telling her to skip the screen on the check out . Great job Harmony

I was in the shoe department last night. I want to give Kudos to an employee named Gregory. He was polite, helpful, professional, and a joy to work with. What a kind man and great example of what customer service should be. Thanks again Gregory.

Slowest cashier and general help service I have experienced. I am a pretty patient person and this was painful. They are way under staffed and so slow.

I just went to take something back to Macy's today and I was reminded why it's so important to support this brick and mortar store! They have amazingly beautiful prom or evening dresses that wouldn't be describable in a picture! They are also very reasonably priced! I understand why more and more people are buying things online.however trying things on for those of us that are not a simple size need to be able to try things on and see how they look. Please go out and support this amazing store who also gives back to the community in so many ways.

Do NOT trust their customer service. You can wait on hold for 20 minutes for someone to then lie through their teeth to you!

Do NOT trust their customer service. You can wait on hold for 20 minutes for someone to then lie through their teeth to you! I had a CSR swear to me that I could use a giftcard at the store. So I proceeded to call to have an item held for me and drove 30 minutes to the store... only to be told that none of that was true and that their customer service people would just do that to get you into the door! I was SO angry! Also, it took me a LONG time to find a representative to help me at the jewelry counter where my item was held and I had several employees just walk past me and ignore me waiting at the counter. I am extremely disappointed by this store and all of its representatives. I strongly do NOT recommend this store and be exceedingly careful with their customer service department as apparently they will lie to you on purpose to try to take advantage of you. Not okay! Edit: Glad I came on here and found out what happened four years ago to some poor woman as well. What a nightmare! That just confirmed that I won’t be shopping with you anymore. Shameful store with various shameful practices.
