Awful Experience- wouldn't give any stars, but it won't let you continue the process

We drove in from WA to try to purchase a truck from Larry H Miller. I will say their truck was priced extremely well and was our number 1 option but there was also a second option at Dennis Dillon so we felt comfortable making the 8 hour trip over to find a new truck. The 2024 Ram had the biggest discount in the NW and was an amazing rig but had also been on the lot for a very, very long time. Probably some of the oldest new inventory in the NW. Our salesman, Lorenzo, was very kind, prompt and knowledgeable of the rig and taught us a lot about the truck during the test drive. Lorenzo was 5 star. Unfortunately, we rolled into town with my old Ram truck and my Audi on a trailer for trade ins. Larry Miller gave us the absolute lowest trade in values we had seen. $10k lower than any other major dealer had offered us. And they would not budge one bit from that number. I even tried to offer to keep one of the trades and just trade in the other and they still would not budge on their offer. They only wanted to tell us why they were not worth what we wanted. At this point I was very disappointed and thought I was driving home with my cars as I thought maybe Idaho just had low trade in values compared to WA. This dealership had me believing my trades had no value. But I worked up the nerve, prepared for more disappointment, and went twenty minutes away to Dennis Dillon just to see what they had to say. Needless to say, we got that $10k more for our trades and a brand new truck with more options and a similar discount rate!! I don't like to leave bad reviews. You can look at my review history and see that. But I can't stand dealers who try to gouge you on trades and I have never seen trade in pricing that low from a major dealer in my 30+ years buying vehicles. That's what I expect from low budget used car lots. Not a new Ram dealer. Do better Larry H as you are honestly now a one star dealer in my mind. On another note, something I don't like is the fact they tried to sit us down to run through financing before even negotiating the trade in values. I had to demand values first but that is typical with many dealerships. Always negotiate first! Financing is the last step! And one last thing, Larry Miller is charging $100 more than Dennis Dillon for their gooseneck ball kits. 3 stars is generous. Thank Lorenzo for that.
