Don't stay here. The young man at the desk hates his job, not friendly. Old rooms, even older mattresses. No handicapped access (wheelchair) Broken furniture, holes in the walls, tiny tiny bathroom. Paid 160$ for a 20$ room. Smells like an nursing home, including the cat yowling in the room next door. Will be sleeping in my clothes. I wanted to move on but hubby was too tired, he said it's one night.

Booked this place online. The hotels in Boise are expensive. The reason I picked this one is you can check in 24/7 and our flight got in late. The checking in process was fast. The room was okay. It had a large bed a sitting couch a desk. I liked that it had a microwave and refrigerator. They gave a very small shampoo and conditioner. We stayed several days and they did not come and clean the room. I guess it's not a bad thing since you don't have people looking at your stuff. The breakfast was pretty decent. They also had an indoor pool with a spa. The pool as the highlight of this hotel. They also sold food if you're hungry. The good thing is that it's located in a really great area lots of restaurants and shopping. It's close to downtown.

For what it is and what we paid for, this deserves a 5 star. Not your 5-star hotel but we got in at 1am last night. Night staff was very cordial and had all the information we need. We got to our room, it was okay. Like I said, not your 5-star hotel but it was decent. Toilet and bath is tiny and could be tight if you are a big person (we are just 5'2" people) but clean and it works. Has a microwave and TV with cable, charging station, alarm clock, and more importantly, it is quiet. Sheets were clean as expected, got soft, fluffy pillows. I had a good, restful sleep. The mini fridge rattled though but it is what it is. Now sitting enjoying this breakfast. They also serve pancakes, a variety of pastries, and cereals. Nice hotel if you have kids. My husband came down just 5 mins before end of breakfast but so appreciate that they refilled and he was able to get some. Should we be back in Boise, ID. Will definitely stay again.

By far the WORST La Quinta that I have ever stayed at. Me and my coworkers had just checked in. I barely walk in my room about two minutes later I get a knock on the door saying that I need to turn my TV down. Haven't even got that far into the room to where I can turn, the TV on the TV was off, then I told this guy that the TV wasn't even on and I close the door and when I close the door he tried to come in my room so I ended up hitting him with the door on his arm and close the door again on his face. Then the front desk calls me telling me to turn the TV down when I'm trying to tell them I don't even have it on. I was going to go straight to sleep because we work nights so I go down there and I tell them like hey this guy just tried to come in my room she's like oh he's just a guest he's been here a while so fucking what what the fuck do you think I am. I went back up to my room, called them and asked them for their corporate number. They tell me that they don't have a corporate office that her manager won't be here until Monday. When I ask them for their name they wouldn't give it to me I had to get the card from the top of the front desk to get her name Dotty Bowman She is the worst type of person and manager I've ever come across. Didn't even bother trying to hear my side when I told her that this guy tried to come in my room. So you better believe I will get in contact with her manager and put this hotel on blast on every sort of social media site that I can I've already put them on Yelp, every other social media platforms next.. DO NOT STAY AT LA QUINTA IN BOISE AIRPORT. And if you run into Dotty Bowman don't even bother she's just a waste of breath and space.

I agree with the other comments about how out dates this building is. The pictures and the lobby flowers were very nice. The young man at the front counter was very friendly and kind as well. The breakfast selection was nothing to write home about. When it was time to refill the food, coffee and utensils you had to go and let someone know that things were empty. The new girl was not trained well and was left alone to try and figure things out. Floors had some normal trash in the food area but no one seems to want to clean it up. I do not recommend this place, even though it is close to the airport. There were dead bugs in every window by the stairs and edding does not match, both did not matter since my bed was comfortable and no bugs in our room. The early morning staff, rude and unprofessional. Glad we only stayed for 1 night.

We stayed here last weekend. I didn't book the hotel, so after I started reading the other Yelp reviews, I became concerned. We were on the 2nd floor towards the end of the hall near the stairs. The first thing we did was went into our room to check for bed bugs, but found no signs of any. I also looked around for any dirt or dust on the floor. I also checked to make sure the tub, toilet were clean, which they were. I looked for hair on the bed sheets, and towels, but once again I found nothing. I sat on the bed and realized it was a box spring mattress, so it was a bit firm for me. The sheets were soft, and the 3 bed pillows ranged from a bit flat and hard to fluffy, so you had several choices. The room had 2 Queen beds, a TV, Fridge, wall AC unit operated by a thermostat, which never managed to get below 70 even though I set it for 67. It was a bit annoying since it cycles on/off through the night which is a bit loud, so thank goodness I wear ear plugs. It was rather odd having a view out the window of houses/garages. The hot breakfast the next morning was pretty good. They had Omelets, Sausage, Bacon in hot plates, as well as a make it yourself waffle station, mini bagels, English muffins, pastries, instant oatmeal, yogurt, juices, coffee, hot chocolate, tea and water. It did get a bit crowded around 8:30am, and rude people were just jumping in front of other people who were in line for the different stations. They also had a weight room, and indoor pool but we didn't use either. The staff were all nice, and helpful.

Service= by the employees is 3 stars. They try hard but their scope of reach is limited which negatively affects the experience.Quality of experience= 1 star. Amenities are there. See pictures for further explanation. Mattresses= 1.5 stars; as bad as any you've experienced. Flat, feel the springs, and by the looks of everything else - cleanliness is questionable. Bathroom= 1 star. They won't give towels unless the front desk "allows" you to have more than 2 sets. Bathtub isn't the cleanest. My child noticed the mold in there. Room= 1.5 stars; microwave, fridge, TV, charge ports. Again, cleanliness is not sufficient. Dirt/ dust/ hair around the edges everywhere. Smell was of smoke and wet dog. Child made a comment every single day about the smell. We were here for a regional soccer tournament. Had just stayed in a different hotel about 4 weeks prior for a different tourney and it was a great hotel. Cheaper too. Paying $199/night for this type of place is straight robbery. There are many other options locally that I would opt for before this place. I'd pay more to avoid it; I'd pay more to drive further, I'd pay more for... you name it. Previous reviews here on Yelp aren't exaggerating, nor inaccurate. Wish we would've stayed elsewhere.

I normally don't stay at budget motels, but was helping drive a friend from Utah to Oregon with a rescue dog. She insisted we stay here.Upon arrival, reception clerk with very odd affect took way too long to check us in. His unleashed dog limping around and complaining that his dog was attacked by another dog. Perhaps keeping his dog leashed and under his control would help. Speaking of not under control, dozens of unmonitored kids running around the motel at all hours of the day and night. To get to the world's slowest elevator, you have to dance with your suitcases around dripping wet kids and a wet floor. The elevator is right across from the pool, only separated by a narrow hallway. This gauntlet was not well thought out. I check into my room and it's not very clean. The TV is on when I walk in the room. None of the lights next to the bed will work. I go downstairs to ask for a remedy, and was first offered some lightbulbs. I found it highly improbable that I needed to change two light bulbs, and so was given a new room. I move my bags down the hall, a little further away from the screaming infant, and a little more towards the occupant with a loud and alarming snore that really should be checked by a doctor. This room is equally unclean. Dirt on the shower pan, soap scum on the glass, someone's hair on the walls and in the bed, sink unclean, exhaust fan is caked in dust. There is no bar soap or hand soap whatsoever. The thermostat is cranked up to 80° and it's hot and noisy in there. I turn off the thermostat completely to kill the squealing heater. The noise coming from the other rooms is terrible. You can hear every neighbor around you. Doors all close with a bang and the morons across the hall are in and out of their room slam-bang-talking loudly past midnight and back at it by 6am. I prop my suitcases up against the adjoining door in my room, not sure that the deadbolt actually works and would prevent someone from breaking in. There is no safety latch on the doors that connect on the interior wall to an adjacent room. Nothing feels safe or clean. Bed was super gross (hairs in the mismatched, gritty sheets) and very uncomfortable. I did peel everything back to make sure there weren't bedbugs. The mattress was stained and the rotation label obviously not followed by the Gregorian calendar. Worst night of sleep I've had in a long time, and as someone who takes prescription medicine to knock myself out, that's saying a lot.Ride the slowest damn elevator alongside the laundry (I guess they don't have a service elevator) and more unattended kids. Went to check out the breakfast in the morning. I take a yogurt, it's the only halfway decent option, and hit the road, happy to never step foot in this dirty motel ever again.

I saw a homeless old man deficate on the hood of a guest's car in La Quinta parking lot. Weird dirty people were smoking meth and cigarettes in the stairwells and parking lot.and a car crashed into the hotel building. and the driver ran off screaming. we checked out and went to Winnemucca. Stayed at Winners Casino. Much better.
