Located at 6350 W. Fairview Ave. in Boise, this is one of the Jacksons I frequent. It's located between my home and work. Sometimes, I stop here to fill up my gas tank, like I did tonight. Years ago, this store had a Moxie Java. I liked being able to use the drive-through window to pick up coffee on my way to work.Although this store is older and smaller than the Jacksons located on Ten Mile Rd. in Meridian, they have a lot of the same great products, as well as some new ones. This store has LOTS of "flaming hot" and spicy hot flavored snacks! As always, the employees were friendly, and the service was excellent!Highly Recommended!!!

May 15 about just before 8 PM I go to pump six and I'm trying to use rewards to get five cents cheaper on gas. The problem is that the rewards thing kept going in a circle and so I gave up on it and tried to just pump anyway but then the pump froze. So then I went to pump one did the same exact thing except this time it pumped $5.77. I look at my account to see what's going on and I see that pump six took $100 as an authorization so it took what I had the remaining of.About five minutes later I see that my bank had authorized $5.77 so I'm like OK cool here in a few minutes it'll let go of the other hundred dollars which was not the case. This morning sometime after 10 AM I called the bank and they said that there is a hold of $100 from that pump so I come in to Jackson's and speak with Jordan who was completely unhelpful and just blaming it on the pump and that he doesn't see any transactions And then I just have to wait 24 to 48 hours or longer because apparently he has no idea (he didn't say that but anytime someone has no idea they say you have to wait)So here I am out $100 for at least another two days because Jackson's will not release the hundred dollars on my account. And I'm not stupid. I know that they have the ability to release the funds and for whatever reason he's choosing not to do so. I've been using this gas station every few days since January with the same exact card and not once have. I had an issue with the pump holding my money until now.

This location is a "convenience store" and that's it. It's a bit dirty. The employees are impersonal and disregarding. The person who waited on me emerged from the back room, mouth full of food and sloppy. I only wanted lottery tickets and I'm glad that's all I wanted!

Lazy employees with lack of oversight. Somehow closed at 6:50am(Jackson's, Google, Yelp list 24 hours). Opened unlocked doors and cashier immediately informed me they were closed for a bit and I could return later. 3 times now.6:50 am is more than acceptable for working hours and cash to be in drawers(especially listed as 24 hours), and if you're in a compromised state(loading tills); maybe lock your doors not allowing customers to walk in and shop. The staff is lazy, get your stuff together or hire the staff that can operate the basic Jackson goals and statement at such a perfect location.Camaraderie at work is key to satisfaction and happiness, however when customers are in the store and waiting in both lines maybe cut the chit chat on lottery winnings and ask your employee(never caught her name but old emplyoeee with glasses and dentures) to cash it and move on when on the clock.I live across the street and made the mistake of getting any items here to many times, nothing is ready, staff and management is iffy and it's really easier to hit Albertsons down the road or the other Jackson's off of Chinden.

Girl with the face tats that’s been working there for a while treats me all the same everytime I go in. I only hope this review shines on her poor workmanship and expresses how nasty this person is, let alone she can’t do her job properly.I asked for 20$ on a pump and she had the strangest, blank face I’ve ever saw. She was out of it and waved her hand saying “yeah yeah” Well, I also needed cash back so after the purchase went through and the drawer filled with $ popped out - SHE WALKS AWAY. I guess co workers are used to her being like that since someone had to step aside to watch the drawer AND finish her job.I was so stunned and even more so when I ran out and saw she put my 20$ on a different tank that someone was at. Having to stop them and run inside to switch it was so infuriating. I don’t know what her deal is but if hating your job that much stretches to treating customers like this, MOVE ON.

Rude employees. I asked for a receipt and basically got kicked out. Lots of the stock is empty most of the time. Love cherry Pepsi. Discontinued because it doesn't sell? Why was it always empty? Probably because they hate restocking hot items. Floor is always dirty every time i go there. All the trash cans are pretty much always full. Parking lot will be full of cars. A line to 1 cash register all the way back to the coolers. Its too bad. The store is in a great location. Needs better management in my opinion. 0 stars.

I went in today you get a refill when I went to fill my Coke it was empty... I waited for the cashier to finish with the customerI informed him the coke was empty when he asked if he could help me he Said I know and turned away.... So because I dirtied a cup I had to use my free drink points on something I did not want.

Not to be petty, but I don't suppose it would be too much to ask to have your advertised food items actually out for sale? Went in this morning to grab some hot dogs, again nothing on the roller. Addressed this with the manager last time I went in. Either have it for sale consistently, or stop advertising it.
