Idaho Youth Ranch thrift stores are a treasure trove for anyone who loves the thrill of a good find. I always come across unique items, from vintage clothes to quirky home decor, and you never know what you’ll uncover, which makes every visit exciting. Unlike some other thrift stores in the area, Idaho Youth Ranch stands out for its cleanliness. While it’s still a thrift store with the usual hustle and bustle, it’s clear they put effort into keeping the aisles and displays neat and welcoming.
The staff is another highlight; they’re genuinely friendly and ready to help. Even if things are a bit disorganized at times, the staff’s positive attitude makes it easy to overlook. Finding a specific section or item can take a little hunting, but that’s all part of the experience here. With reasonable prices and a feel-good mission behind every purchase, Idaho Youth Ranch is a great stop for thrifters looking for both quality items and a pleasant shopping experience.

Only location I donate my stuff to usually but today that changed. The guy doing intake in the back was an absolute jerk so I drove off!

The store appeared to be short-staff. The checkout line was super long. Waited for approximately 5 to 10 minutes at a jewelry type counter, and no one was there to help me. The store was organized and clean. Prices are reasonable for some items, but then other items are overpriced. The one check out employee was nice but like I said they needed more people to check out the long line.

Bought a table and chairs and came back the next day for someone to tell me they "accidentally" gave my table to someone else and the best they can do is give me a discount on another one. Like I'm taking 4 chairs that matched with a table you gave away... what's the point of me keeping my receipt if anyone can just walk in and take it

I bought a whole table and chairs. I went back the next day to pick it up. They had sold my table to a different person. Putting a new tag on my already sold table and sold it to someone else. Good job! Doing your one job!

Crazy prices for a thrift store! Better off buying things on eBay or Walmart

Don't work in a place that sells toys if you can't tolerate children.

Over priced but well organized. People were great but I saw things from the dollar store that were over $3 so that tells you how much stuff is jacked up

Worst manager ever. I have worked retail for 20 years and i have never experienced anything like this. I bought a pump that never worked when i plugged it in. It was past their 7 day return policy, and i lost the reciept, but it had a tag on the pump and the same one on the box so it should have been obvious i purchased it with the youth ranch. Instead of being pleasant and maybe offering a gift card or something, she was short, and irritated. I feel that if things are donated you should make sure theu work before selling them. Its just me but offering something is better than losing a customer forever. I have spent thousands of dollars at the youth ranch over the past 20 years. I will never be spending my money at the youth ranch and i will always have this story when thrifting comes up in conversation.
