Not recommended if you are training for a serious event, trying to rehab from an injury, or trying to prevent an injury. Nice people; good facility. The expertise and competence is lacking when it comes to more serious training beyond just basic good health. These folks were hired specifically to help me prevent injury and I ended up terribly injured with a stress fracture - five months after I stopped going here. I hold them partially responsible for my injury. Best to double check and even question or talk through any changes they make to your plan. In my case the trainer I was working with resigned and someone else took over my training. In about the second session with me he added more weight to a hex bar and I'm not certain he gave it much thought. I felt some kind of pull in the area where I know have a fracture. This has ruined my entire spring program and has even impacted my ability to pursue a world renowned sporting event to which I have had an entry since 2020. I'm not certain I can get into next year's event. If that is the case, I'm out $3k or may force myself to participate on a compromised limb. For all the money I spent on twice-weekly sessions for about 4 months I never got a phone call asking how I was or when I might return. To me that says they really don't care beyond getting paid. I would recommend you pursue your own strength training routine.

My daughter has trained at IFA for four off-seasons. They are our favorite place to condition. Sports-specific training, professional, and clean. The staff is all kind and personable. They return calls and emails in a timely fashion. They've accommodated our schedule and my daughter absolutely loves it AND they focus on weaknesses and train those areas to prevent injury. Couldn't recommend a better place for conditioning!

Casey and Mike offer high quality specialized training usually offered to only collegiate and professional athletes. They are very professional and know exactly how movements work to help their athletes perform at their best. Highly recommend you check them out.

Casey and Mike are great! Always around and there to help motivate you towards your goals. One of the best sports fitness gyms in the valley. They will build a program around you, to make you stronger in the sports you play.

Enjoy having a true personal relationship with the trainers. I believe they genuinely care that I achieve the objectives that I am trying to accomplish. I am nearly 77 years old and they get the most out of me by continually challenging me not to use age as an excuse to do less than I am capable.

What a positive place to workout!! A totally opposite experience from the big gyms! This place is completely focused on your goals and how to get you there. Casey really cares about his clients and wants to promote health and fitness. TJ Wilson is absolutely the best Personal Trainer out there, he knows how to motivate, encourage, support and kick your butt when you need it. If you are looking for a gym that will help you be the best you can be and reach your goals IFA is the place to be. If you want the best PT book with TJ! Oh yea, TJ teaches a mean kick boxing class as well, absolutely the most fun I've had in years!
