1314 W Grove St, Boise“Staying at Oxford suites was pleasant. We got a room with two queen beds. Everything was very clean including the bathroom, there were enough towels, the sheets and bed were soft with enough pillows, and all staff was friendly and efficient. The only thing that needs improvement was the pool area. The chlorine in both the hot tub and the pool was so high that both our kids complained of it hurting their skin. It was a nice temperature but too chlorinated.Otherwise it was great! They have a lovely breakfast with made to order eggs and omelets.Nearby activities: It is located near a busy eating and shopping area”
“Can’t say enough good about this hotel. The rooms, location, and facility in general are excellent, but they have the friendliest staff. I’ve stayed here a couple times, and every time had the same experience of wonderful care and service.”

475 W Parkcenter Blvd, Boise“You can tell from the bathtubs in the bathrooms and the door locks that this is an older building, but that's about it, as it's clearly been remodeled. Everything else from beds, toilets, sinks, shower fixtures, furniture, look, smell, etc. feels much newer. The entertainment options haven't been upgraded and you still have the old school tv option with a slow, line-by-line channel guide and no streaming, but that's really nit-picking. The staff (front desk, food service and maid service -- I had good experiences with all of them) is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best "chain hotel" breakfast I've had. The place is clean and obviously well run/managed. Not sure you can beat this value in the Boise area for the price.Oh, side note - the pool is a little underwhelming. It's small and outdoors, although heated. No hot tub. So, if that's a must have for your visit, you might consider checking it out more closely before committing. It didn't matter to me and my family this visit.UPDATE - It appears there is an indoor hot tub. That wasn't explained when I checked in, but it's still a 5-star review from me and was still an excellent check in experience. Only makes it more likely I'll stay there again next time I'm passing through Boise.”

1575 S Lusk Pl, Boise“This is a fun place for a date night local stay. They have elaborately decorated suites with large spa tubs. This room was "Swiss Family Robinson." You get to sleep in a tromp loi painted scene, in a treehouse. The tub has an elephant looking down at you. The trunk is a shower. (Why does this deserted island have an elephant? Haha) The place has a great breakfast too.”
“This location is fantastic. Check in was a breeze, professional service given and the rep worked to assist my request. Clean room. Air conditioner works great and the toilet works as it should, no issues. Beds and pillows still in good shape. Place is only about 5 yrs old. Pool and hot tub are clean and kept in great condition. Competitively priced and recommended.”
“Great accommodation for the price. Rooms are very spacious and well appointed with everything we needed. Proximity to airport was spectacular and arranging for pick up and drop off made the whole stay a breeze. Loved the cleanliness of the room and property.”
“Joshua was so sweet and treated me with such kindness. I had my service dog and was not treated rudely like I had been at other hotels as my service dog current is retiring and I am training a new one. I was given every effort to accommodate my needs as I am disabled and they went OUT of their way to treat me with courtesy and efficiency....the day manager and her assistant were so sweet and checked me in quickly, and early and also walked down to open the door for me. I will always be so grateful as it was difficult traveling alone, disabled and with major health and stress concerns at bay. God bless these associates!!!”

“Pleasantly surprised. Well maintained, clean hotel with large rooms. Everything looks brand new. I enjoyed spending time at the "Deck" on the 3rd floor, listening to live music, drinking a Deschutes Black Butte Porter, munching on a "Cocky Balboa" chicken sandwich and taking in the views of downtown Boise, with views of the Capitol from the Deck. Kids enjoyed the pool and had it to ourselves. Breakfast is average, but I really enjoyed the coffee. Parking garage is on the small size but we didn't have any problems finding a spot. It was not a BSU football game weekend, which probably is why it wasn't too crowded. Convenient to lots of restaurants, bars and shopping, parks, etc.”

“We unexpected had to book three rooms at the Residence Inn this past weekend, after the VRBO we booked for a family wedding fell through. My elderly mother has some specific needs and Steve, the General Manager, went above and beyond to locate a chair for her to sleep in. He and his team were kind, friendly and very accommodating. We can’t thank them enough for taking good care of us, on what had been a very stressful weekend.Rooms: Nice and clean.”
“We had a great time staying at the Modern!! The rooms are cool, comfortable and functional. The location is ideal for exploring downtown Boise and the restaurant is excellent- fabulous food and cocktails!! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The entire property has a groovy vibe, down to the in-room TV channel dedicated to short films. Oh- and the breakfast is lovely!!”

2613 S Vista Ave, Boise“Just stayed with our three kids. Our King suite with fold out couch was perfect for our toddlers and the room had plenty of space for our pack n play for the baby. The pool was super warm and fantastic. Loved it, perfect way to let the kids get their energy out after a long road trip. We decided to sleep and so missed breakfast, but that is okay. Would stay here again.”
“Large rooms, sofa can be turned into a bed as well. Smaller bathroom, with the sink being in the bedroom area. I did book a king room, but they didn’t have any available for some reason. I was given two full size beds instead. I had some trouble figuring out the climate control in the room. The thermostat would not go below 68 no matter what I did. Room was not a comfortable temperature the time I was there. I believe the unit in the room was broken.”
“Just moved to Boise going through rehab at the VA. Highly recommend. Staff is great. Room is attended to, room is clean, and maintenance is on their game. Highly recommend!”

2799 W Airport Way, Boise“DO NOT STAY HERE, especially if you have children with you. Incredibly dirty and run down, inside and out. I've included pictures. And yes, that's dried vomit on the chair.”
“I had a decent stay with my dog and staff was friendly. The building is old so it was hot and muggy in the halls during a heat wave but the room was very cool. It was mostly quiet during my stay and the bed was comfortable. Only downside is you have to request a mini fridge and it’s not included in the room. My room was clean and had a working tv, just older amenities. I would stay here again!”
“We stumbled upon the property after a long day of driving at the tail end of a road trip. The Modern Hotel is a renovated motel with upgraded amenities, while keeping its mid century charm. The hotel and restaurant staff have created a personalized experience and its obvious they take pride and are committed to their vision. Our room included a large rainfall shower, oversized towels, locally made body lotion and soap, and a ridiculously comfortable bed.
The restaurant and bar is worth a trip for Boise locals. The bar offers a number of craft cocktails created by the bartenders who are also well versed in classic cocktails. We were too wiped from driving all day to eat a full dinner, but had appetizers at the bar.
Breakfast included a fritata menu, juice, yogurt parfaits, and locally baked banana bread.
This is NOT a "check in at midnight sleep and grab a bagel and banana from the breakfast buffet on your way out hotel" but a refreshing change from antiseptic chains or perfect for a night on the town.”
