Firstly, if it’s important to you, please be aware that this hotel directly adjoins a very large truck stop.Otherwise: the front desk concierge was polite, and there was a nice, personalized card in our room.Those were the high points. Unfortunately, even at the price point, the room was not up to expected standards. The bedding was strongly suspect of not having been changed, showing clear indentations from prior occupants of the room, and the mattress itself was old and uncomfortable, it’s best days long behind it. The pillows were small but serviceable. The toilet and shower also showed signs of poor housekeeping, my wife feeling the need to clean the former before using it. At least one of the provided bottles of body wash showed signs of tampering (the lid was not screwed on correctly). The bathtub itself creaked and flexed as if not properly supported. Some fixtures are updated, but cheaply, and many older touches remain. Walls and floors are not very soundproof and noise could be heard from all around all night long.Overall, this one was a miss for me.

We were a group of 23 teenagers and adults in town for a sporting event. The staff was amazing and treated our kids so well. The rooms were nice and clean and beds were comfy. The best part of our stay was how helpful Junior, at the front desk, was in getting us rooms for our group that were close together and would fit all our kids. He even gave us a group rate that was better than the price listed online! Thank you!

This was my first stay at this hotel and it definitely won't be my last! Amazing front desk service. Very quick to resolve any issues we had within minutes. First night our refrigerator wasn't working. A gentleman brought us another one within minutes. We needed a shower chair, and they brought us one immediately! The room was very clean, very spacious and perfect for my mom who's currently in a wheelchair. It's right next to the interstate, however the noise was so minimal that I was actually surprised. Beds were cozy. Only a 10 minute drive or so to Saint Al's Hospital for my mom's surgery. All in all would definitely recommend.

This place is right off the freeway so I wasn't expecting much but when I went inside I was so impressed. They really have cleaned up the place since the Shilo was here. But the best part was the check in process and the local knowledge the assistant manager had. I'm considering moving here and I was given her day trip highlights. And everywhere I went was amazing! Nobody else at the desk knew the area at all so if it is local information you need ask for Delila!! Her customer service was the only one that didn't seem forced it was real and that's important. Give this girl a raise.

Great space, wonderful rooms. It is a bit noisy at this location, it's right by the truck stop and the interstate. Staff was helpful, room was clean. They had an awesome breakfast, waffles, eggs, etc. Hot and fresh. Would recommend you ask for a room furthest from the truck stop. ?.

Hotel 28 was a great stay. Couldn't believe I didn't find this place sooner. Great staff especially Delilah she went above and beyond. Breakfast was wonderful, Great location, felt safe and not to mentioned def will return.

This hotel was so impressive, I decided to write the review even before checking out; I don't leave until tomorrow. I have reviewed a lot of places and I judge a place by whether I would return. Listen, EVERYTIME I come to Boise, I am staying here. I must admit that I wasn't expecting much, I was only in town for 2 days so I wanted something affordable with a shuttle to and from the airport (trying to save money by not getting a rental car). However, I was blown away with the service and the condition of the hotel. Debbie and Dale and the rest of staff were amazing! The breakfast was good and the location was cool because there is a TA truck stop across the parking lot. It has a Subway and a Country Pride restaurant. I ate at both and both were good. The hotel seemed new and updated. They even have a sauna, jacuzzi, and workout center (I am using workout center before I leave tomorrow. Last thing, the have a sitting area in the front of the hotel that is a nice touch. Has a firepit and comfy chairs overlooking the highway. Again, I will stay here again!

This aviation themed hotel is surprisingly nice. I had a great room. Delilah was fun and friendly with everyone checking in.The fire pit was a nice amenity to relax by after a long day of driving.Def recommend.

If you're on the lookout for a clean, comfy, affordable, and luxurious hotel--this is the place for you. The staff will give you a warm welcome, as well as cater to your needs in any way they can! There's a lot of perks like: free wifi, a nice hot tub, laundry services, a continental breakfast each morning, and caring staff. The rooms are always clean. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. This location is also super close to a giant gas station that has both a Subway and a Taco Bell. The Assistant Manager, Delilah, is a little kooky but she knows what she's doing and has fun doing it! The General Manager, Tracy, is excitable and articulate. She never misses a single thing. There's also a very kind and caring housekeeper there named Keeley--and she goes above and beyond with her work, which can be extremely daunting and tedious at times. She certainly deserves a hefty tip for doing such a great job, and for being such a joy to interact with! Stay at Hotel 28 if you need to get away and forget about your troubles for a while. This is the perfect place to unwind.Rooms: The housekeeping staff is extremely attentive and organized. The rooms smell good, have clean sheets, and are cleaned thurougly after every use. The housekeeping staff does not slack off or mess around when it comes to keeping everything spotless and fresh for the next customer.Nearby activities: This hotel is located near a water park called "Ivy Wild." It's super fun in the summertime. You will also be located near Downtown Boise, which almost always has something fun going on. There's live music, beautiful parks, arcade games, fun bars, scooters to ride on, people to meet, etc.

Snacks and a great night's sleep Thank you Management for giving me the best night's sleep in a long time. The freeway didn't bother me at all. I was concerned a little because I saw a few reviews that mentioned noise on the freeway side of the hotel. I was not disturbed by the freeway traffic at all. Don't let a few reviews about traffic noise determine your choice to stay here because they found it noisy. Each guest experiences noise or sound differently some are light sleepers some sleep through the night undisturbed. Also there are options. I know for a fact if you voice your concerns to the staff during check in or even when making a reservation, let them know you're a light sleeper and I'm sure they will make every effort to accommodate your needs. And the snacks!!! Worth mentioning again!!!Rooms: Super cleanFood & drinks: SNACKS SO MANY SNACKSNoteworthy details: Attention to detail right down to the pens with Hotel 28 branded on them for every guest to sign their name with. They really do think of everything. Staff is real no rehearsed welcome here. They are truly wanting you to feel welcome and excited to be a guest throughout your stay. Tracey is a ray of sunshine and she wears it well and theres no mistaking that she loves her job. It shows with every guest she greets. Did I mention the snacks?

I was soooo Impressed and my girlfriend is a head housekeeper for another Choice Hotel, and she normally picks at every thing but not this time it was pure excellence. Great Hosts. Great extras like steam room, sauna, hot tub, outdoor pool and a fitness room. Best of all was seriously the amazing service and great breakfast.Rooms: Clean, classy, and comfortable.Safety: I didn't see any type of hazards.Food & drinks: They have a little convenient room where they sell snacks and drinks. There is also BK next door and a travel center.Noteworthy details: Service amazing, the extra amenities were top notch, and everything was clean, fresh and classy.

One of the best hotels ever stayed at! Tracy, GM, was super friendly at check in despite FD inspection. Even had a personalized note in room welcoming us, some candy and bottle of water. They even made fresh cookies in evening. Very comfortable bed, slept great! 5 minutes from airport and off hwy but no noise! If flying in/out of Boise, this is place to stay.Rooms: Nice shower, spacious room, incredibly comfortable bed and pillows (weren't flat).

The customer service here was excellent, friendly and kind staff. Breakfast options were one of the best we had as we traveled a lot for this trip.We had a suite and were supposed to have a sofa, but there was just a big open space (not a big deal). Unfortunately, there was mold in the bathroom, this is my biggest complaint. The alarm went off very early (we didn't set it) and non of the buttons worked, could not shut it off, finally got it unplugged from a very sleep deprived state. Vanity light quit working as we were trying to get ready to leave, I just let the front desk know on our way out because i didn't have time to wait for someone to fix it.

All three staff members I interacted with were very nice and beyond helpful and should be commended on their customer service. However I dont know if anyone from this hotel has ever attempted to stay on the even side of rooms or the highway side but it is impossible to get a good night's sleep. The noise from the highway was incredibly loud. I could hear every vehicle at night, especially the trucks. They were able to switch me after my first night and I greatly appreciated it. My second room was much quieter but the toilet would not flush in this room. I would give the hotel another chance but I would make sure to get a room on the parking lot side.
