Rooms are not clean. I found this potato under the bed. Imagine for how long it's been there.

Location is close enough to downtown, and still about 5-6 minutes to the airport. My husband and I arrived to Idaho for an unfortunate funeral and got a junior suite at the Hilton Garden Inn. Upon arrival to the room, we noticed pills/medication on the floor, dirt all over the inside of the bathroom door, used toilet paper with maybe about 5 uses left, and breakfast was a hassle. If it wasn’t made aware when you stay here, breakfast is not complimentary and you have to pay for it. We got pancakes and an omelet which came out to over $25. Pros and cons but cleanliness was definitely poor and you could tell that someone didn’t clean the room before we arrived.

We picked this hotel and payed more because it was suppose to have a restaurant and bar. When we got there lady at front desk said it was closed because of staffing issues. I've seen banners on hilton website saying hotel under construction and other things. Not sure why this hotel didn't do that it would have saved me some money and we would have eaten before we got to the hotel.

Rooms: Plain, sterile room. Nothing fancy, just a quiet place to rest.
Food and drinks: Decent breakfast with good choices on the menu.
Noteworthy details: I was disappointed to discover that breakfast is not included in the price of our stay-we had to purchase separately.

What is with hotels charging extra for buffet style breakfast? If you loved to feel “nickel n dime” then I have no advice for you..
Bed was hard and I don’t mean firm. It’s when you lie on your side and wonder if you transformed into an 80yr old body with hip problems.
The shower door opens the wrong way or they put the shower head on the wrong side. Either way, you can either tempt fate by turning the shower on while you’re in it, or create a pool on the floor as you try to squeeze in between the waterfall and shower door.
Room was clean, no tub so that’s my fault for not checking.
I do like the overpriced goodies you can get near the front desk.. until the bill comes and you remember you don’t have a trust fund.
Pool/hot tub was 24hrs and absolutely amazing they do that. Ofc I was in bed and asleep by 8pm but imagine if I was a cool person
Front desk lady, should have gotten her name 10/10. So freaken nice and accommodating. I would stay there again just for that service. I would bring a mattress pad, call myself a diva but would still be so happy.
Overall good stay.

Clean rooms but it may be time to update the mattresses. Poor guy at breakfast was struggling to keep up. No clean tables and our "made to order" breakfast was pulled off the bar except our pancakes. Potatoes, sausage, and bacon were cold.

We stay here whenever we're in Boise. One of our consistently good experiences. We enjoy their breakfast as well and friendly staff. Aaron at the front counter was very professional and a delight to have welcome us and help us through updating our stay when we had to change our dates due to a situation at my wife's work (unrelated to the hotel or our Boise stay) that necessitated we return one day sooner. Would highly recommend, and as always, we'll plan to stay here again when we're in town, hopefully soon.

So glad we stopped here! The rooms were great, they have a pool and hot tub, which was important to us because we were on a long road trip and the hot tub really helps relax the muscles. There are so many stores, restaurants, and places for activities all around, the staff was really great. I highly recommend staying here! (Breakfast is not free here)
Rooms: The rooms were exactly like advertised
Nearby activities: There is a movie theater complex right across the street!
Food and drinks: Restaurants litter the whole street, a Costco, Walmart, and grocery outlet all within walking distance

This Hilton Garden Inn is always an absolute favorite for my stay when visiting Boise for business. The part that seals the deal is how AMAZING Kim in Food & Beverage is. She always remembers me and welcomes me with kindness even if it has been a while. Rooms are good and the property is clean. The star would be the location and food & beverage…. AND KIM!!!
