Recently moved back to Boise and needed to find a new wild game processer. Found Andy and Get Your Meat through a basic Google search, probably the same as you are doing right now. Search no further, friend.The customer service I received from Andy and his wife was top-notch from start to finish. They are definitely busy, but their outstanding quality is to blame and they are certainly worth the wait.Andy offers a wide array of products at fair prices. I chose Pepperoni Sticks and Jalapeño/Cheese Summer Sausage to utilize my grind, both are excellent.Give Andy and Get Your Meat the opportunity of your business, I will certainly be back in the future. This butcher shop here in Boise is as advertised……Get YOUR meat, not somebody else’s or mystery meat lol! We have taken all of our animals to them and the cuts are amazing as well as the price! Ill stick my meat in a freezer and wait for weeks to get into Andy and his crew instead of going to next available. Cannot recommend them enough! Pay the money, get it done right, these guys are professionals and craftsmans!

Andy has processed 3 elk for us over the last three years and he's easy to work with, professional, and his jerky and sausage quality is fantastic. Would absolutely recommend for all of your game processing needs.

This a great company with great customer service very professional. This business is top notch on having everything cleaned. The owner has great knowledge of what will work best and will help you make informed decisions on how is best to get the most out of your cuts. This company also has top notch smoked products and willing to smoke your meats also.I will personally keep going back to this company for my need of great experience and customer service.

My husband got his deer processed here into two different kinds of sausage (Italian and jalapeño/cheddar) and unfortunately, we are very disappointed. The sausage has no flavor. Incredibly bland. No salt. He specified on a spice chart how spicy he wants the jalapeño cheddar and said super spicy but the sausage doesn’t have any spice to it at all let alone, not even a slight jalapeño flavor. It’s a bummer when you pay to have game processed and it comes out this way. We have had so many processed and have made so much sausage and this is by far the worst! Super disappointed!!

Andy is great! I was lucky enough to get a bull on September 1st. Unfortunately for me the temps were around 90 mid-day and were projected to remain high for the next 2 weeks. I had no service on the mountain so after packing the elk out I headed for Boise, hoping I would find a processor with cold storage that was open on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. After getting to town I loaded up on ice, assuming I'd wouldn't find anything and would need to make it until Tuesday before dropping it off. I found Get Your Meat, gave him a call, and within 20 minutes had my elk hanging in Andy's freezer. He was great to work with, very flexible with availability for drop-off/pick-up, very fair with rates, and most importantly did a great job with the meat. Packaging was great (ground in plastic tubes, fresh cuts in paper with plastic underneath to keep out the air). After finishing it up he had if fully frozen for my long drive home. I highly recommend Andy!
