This business has attempted to remove one star reviews. Check other one star reviews for same experiences. Review available on X and other media. I will add photo proof. The entry stair nose was installed too far out causing it to split and crack away from the landing. After the quote and installation of the flooring, Mike suddenly determined that they didn't have and couldn't make the trim for the stairs. Should have known that to begin with. They should have eaten the expense and have them made by a Carpenter, which we were told couldn't be done. Right! Save your money and find someone who will do the job right and will follow through on their deal.

Totally disorganized, his tile guy retired, I have to reinstall the sink and back splash and his installer "doesn't want the job". Save ytour self a do over and find a different contractor.

We absolutely loved our carpet from Finer Floors. Mike was a delight to work with. Very courteous and professional and quick to respond. His installer (didn't catch his name) was a work horse! He did our entire basement, stairs and living area by himself! He was professional, fast and courteous. Would highly recommend him and this business! Will definitely return to them if we have other flooring needs. Thanks!

Dan was very helpful and patient while we selected a countertop and floor for our kitchen and arranged to get us samples before we decided on flooring. The installations went well and Dan kept in touch throughout. We wanted to keep our purchase local and will be back to Finer Floors for carpeting when we’re ready.

Finer Floors has been so amazing to work with! I started my project back in November and and got delayed numerous times. I had already ordered the flooring and Dan was so gracious to hold my carpet and make arrangements for the laminate until we were ready to install in the house. They have been so patient with me calling in and asking lots of questions. They are wonderful!

We had a great experience with Finer Floors! From the get go, our salesman Mike was courteous, punctual, and very attentive to our needs. The install happened today and the final product is better than we anticipated! I'd suggest anyone looking for new floors to support this local business and their outstanding staff.

What’s the first moment I walked into Finer Floors, and met Dan until the end of the project, the service I received was exceptional. Dan was very helpful and encouraging me to choose the right product, making sure that I took the product home to view it in light, and shade, and checked to make sure I was satisfied with what I chosen. Dan’s communication was thorough throughout the process, checking in at appropriate times for installation.The installer that he had sent was prompt, prepared, efficient, with a great work ethic, and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend anyone to use Finer Floors.

Mike is incredibly responsive and communicative. We've had Finer Floors install laminate and carpet in three houses and the product and workmanship is always superior. Finer Floors obtains the product quickly and reasonably and their expert installers do a meticulous job getting everything just right. We're so happy we were referred to Finer Floors years ago and they earn our business over and over again.

Finer Floors staff (Mike) and installer(Charlie) are the best. They are professional and know their product! We were dealing with a large insurance claim and they were so helpful in helping us negotiateate the messiness of insurance claims. The carpet looks amazing and Charlie did a wonderful job installing! Highly recommend this local Boise business!
