Honestly if you take what you're supposed to and arrive around your appointment time, it'll go smoothly. All my workers were very professional and helped me in a timely manner. In and out in 30 minutes for an out of state drivers license transfer

This place is so time consuming. I had to make 4 diffrent appointments for the same thing to take a test for my Cdl. Every single time I went to my appointment, they were asking proof of residency. I ended up bringing my id my ssn card and same mail for proof of residency. They wouldn't let me take the test because the mail and my if wasent enough evidence. Everytime I come here I have to reschedule because the just won't take my proof. I have waisted over 2 weeks for this and I'm now waiting for my next appointment. Definitely the worst place to go to for stuff like this.

So I called to cancel my step sons id appointment due to him having a drs appointment that ran over. With that being said the lady that answered the phone from the number that was listed to call for canceling appointments was beyond rude. Gave little care about providing a public service, got no help from them just an expectation that I am supposed to know their system without any knowledge on how they work. Beyond rude and to be honest if her supervisor happens to read this. Take this chance to educate your employees on how to provide good customer service

If you make an appointment (on line) for driver's license renewal, there is no wait. I was in and out within 10 minutes or so.

I like how they have changed the process of renewing drivers license. So much better and organized, no crazy lines and waiting. The appointment booking on line is so easy and response time is quick. My big complaint is the staff, everyone I came in contact was very helpful BUT the employee who helped me at the window was awful, no smile, not helpful at all and not happy to be there. My thoughts were, wow they have made her job so much better and organized what does she have to be so unhappy and rude.

Had a bad experience at the Caldwell DMV and decided to go to Boise. The lady who helped me was amazing! I wish I remembered her name but she was at window 1. She took the time to make sure that all of my information was correct and took care of me. Really appreciate her and made it a very easy process. Great service!

We are from a tiny town, but we heard that you can get appointments to test here. It was so easy and it helped to have fewer people in the building for a nervous teen ager. All the workers we so great! Thank you ?

This week the civilians were there, and I found them to be quite helpful and courteous. It was very pleasant dealing with these fine people.A lot different than last week dealing with the deputy.

Easiest renewal ever. Online appointment, showed up at the appointment time, no waiting in line, in and out in about 10 minutes.

Thank you to the person who got my disabled husband and myself in on such short notice. Thank you to the kind person who helped my husband and never rushed him to get his new ID card.

Any positive reviews are surely bought and paid for. Make an appointment and an hour later you'll still be waiting. They have like 25 windows but you'll never see more than 3 or 4 people actually working. The lady at the self check in was extreme rude and was yelling at everyone to not touch the machine even though it prompts you to. Typical government waste of tax dollars at work
