Had a terrible experience tonight. Usually I love coming to Cabela's I've spent thousands here over the years and have especially enjoyed the gun library. Tonight for no reason I was chewed out by the man working the gun library. He claimed he saw me all the time (I have never spoke to him before or seen him) and that I am always messing with the guns. I do examine them as they are used and not cheap. He claimed I ruined the guns by working the actions. I have never been spoken to before about working the actions and have been encouraged to examine the firearms in the cabinets as they are unlocked for people to examine. He immediately threatened to get the manager to ban me and when I said that I wouldn't if he would like he again threatened to ban me. It was a super unpleasant experience and has made me and my friend that was with me question if we want to ever shop here again. It made me decide not to purchase the bullet die I was looking at that night for sure.

Kinda went downhill since Bass Pro-shops purchased it. Used to have a lot more outdoor gear, instead of fishing stuff that doesn't even really work for Idaho.

Likable place, what you would expect from a Cabelas store. Not the biggest, but the people are polite and helpful. After the BassPro acquisition, things have changed. Still better than some of the other local sporting goods stores. Overall, good store, good products, the parking lot is not ideal dury a busy day, but located close to the freeway.
